I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this apartment! Fantastic location close to Oxford Street and an abundance of restaurants are on your doorstep. Loved the convenience of the Goodge St tube station being only minutes away as I needed to us this regularly. Everything you could need is in the apartment and it really does feel like a 'home away from home'....much better than staying in a hotel in my opinion. Samantha (owner) is lovely and I hope to stay in her apartment again some day! 20 January 2011 - 07:47:40

I arrived in London 31 December 2010, the reception in the apartment was fantastic, Samantha is very courteous and helpful, never intrusive. When I arrived I found a bottle of champagne to celebrate the new year and all the necessary for breakfast the next day, the fantastic welcome pack. The owner was very nice and gave us much information about the area. Arrival and departure was on time and everything was arranged properly and quickly. At the apartment are a notebook with all information of the house that are clear and detailed, it also features all types of restaurant recommendations, etc.. The house is really close to the center you can reach in 10 minutes, always near the house you have two tube station, a pharmacy, a supermarket, many restaurants, etc.. The apartment is even more beautiful as you can see from the photos, the apartment is small but has all the necessary amenities The kitchen, the bathroom is comfortable and clean, iron and washing machine, TV with many channels, free wireless, DVD player with some DVDs and some CDs with the radio, it was very well maintained and clean. The apartment is located on the back of the building is very quiet, which is nice after a day the streets, even the neighbors are very quiet. I'm really glad I found this apartment, I am recommending to all my friends this apartment and surely I'll be back in this apartment when I return to London 24 January 2011 - 11:21:00

This was the perfect flat for my week long stay in London, and exactly what I had expected from the photos and reviews. The flat itself is kept in lovely condition, very clean and well stocked with stuff you don't have to worry about like dish soap, laundry soap, tea, coffee, etc. And the location couldn't be better. It's a very short walk to the Goodge Street tube station on the Nothern Line, there are plenty of restaurants, two supermarkets around the corner, and a couple of newsagents for any papers I needed. And the neighborhood is quite safe and quiet at night. The owner Samantha is wonderful. She sends you all the information you need to know about getting to the apartment, meets you when you arrive, runs through anything you might have questions about, and is available to you if there is a problem. She even bought tulips for the flat to brighten up the sitting room. She also took the time to put together a book that answers just about every question you might have when it comes to the flat and the neighborhood. I was a little apprehensive about making a bank transfer for the deposit, as I had never done something like that before, but it work out wonderfully. And Samantha lets you know when she receives it in her account. The free landline calls to the US and wireless internet included in the price was an added bonus. I didn't have to worry about buying a phonecard or finding an internet cafe, which was a HUGE timesaver. I would definitely recommend this to any single travellers or a couple. I imagine the space would get a little cramped if more than two people were staying here. It's on the second floor, so keep that in mind if you have heavy luggage. But for me, when I go back to London, I will be checking to see if this place is available first before looking anywhere else. 01 May 2011 - 19:33:32

My wife and I stayed at Samantha's apartment at the beginning of May of this year, just after the Royal wedding. The location is very central to all attractions but not in a touristy area. Mostly locals in the area which is great. Grocery store just down the street which has everything you will need. Pubs on every corner to wet your whistle and the Tube station a mere 5 minute walk. Soho was but a 10 minute walk from the apartment. We absolutely loved the area! Onto the apartment, which was small but very clean, well kept and had all we needed for the week. If your plan while in London is to just have a place to sleep and maybe relax before heading out on the town for the evening, which is what we did, then this is the perfect place for couples. Samantha was very helpful on any questions or concerns we might have had and was always easy to reach if necessary. She has a folder with all the instructions for the apartment plus info on the area and phone numbers for cabs, etc. I highly recommend renting this apartment while in London and would do so again. We didn't want to leave! 18 May 2011 - 18:41:23

After their vacation in London, my friends were very enthused about this apartment and I was truly impressed by their excitement. Therefore, I decided to rent it for over a week during my vacation planned for Easter and Royal Wedding. My tourist experience was a very pleasant one as well. First of all, I found that this apartment is not only conveniently located, clean and relaxing but also very functional in spite of an apparent small surface. The bedroom is large, quiet, and it welcomes sunny mornings. The entire place is clean and comfortable and I developed a feeling of home. Samantha was thoughtful, helpful, discrete, and generous; she left tempting goodies and welcomed me with wonderful fresh tulips that I will never forget. Thank you very much, Samantha for your kindness and for the job well done! Will email you the pictures of the tulips. 26 May 2011 - 03:49:38

Samantha's flat was quite lovely and in a great location. We were only a short walk from a tube stop, but there was plenty to do right in the area around. There are plenty of wonder place to eat right out the door. Incredibly you'd never know you were in central London once inside as it is very quite, even with the windows open. She was also incredibly flexible with our early arrival times and late departures. We had a great time staying here. 06 July 2011 - 18:38:52

We stayed in Samanthas suite for one week at the end of August and found her to be great to deal with and helpful in every way. Superb communication! The suite is in a great location both for transportation and pedestrian movement. As the suite is on the back side of the building it is quiet while still being in a bustling area. Everything you need to know about the place and the area is in a book in the suite. A few extra special touches for us were fresh flowers, plug adapters and a few snacks, all of which were very much appreciated! I have no hesitation in recommending this suite as a great base for your stay in London. 11 September 2011 - 22:15:15

This was the perfect place for my stay in London. Samantha was very welcoming and extremely helpful and she has a "book of instructions of the apartment and neighborhood" that was very useful. The apartament is very clean and tidy. The bed is extremely comfortable and the location is fantastic both for tourism and business. You can either walk everywhere or you have a tube station very nearby. There are lots of great restaurants and shops in the neighborhood. Since it is a such a busy street I thought it might be noisy but once inside it was very peaceful and I never heard any street noise. The WIFI works really well and it has a nice flat screen TV. This was a wonderful find and I hope to be able to return in another occasion. 27 September 2011 - 08:35:39

We stayed here for a week in October. Really good location, great for restaurants and just a few minutes walk from Goodge Street and Tottenham Court tube stations. Would really recommend as a good place to stay for a couple. 28 October 2011 - 08:39:47

My daughter and I stayed here for one week in July. The apartment is perfectly sized for two, very clean and very well supplied with all kitchen and bathroom essentials (and extras too). The spacious bedroom has lots of closet space, the bed is very comfortable and linen and towels are of a very good quality. The location is excellent; less than 5 minutes from Tottenham Court Road, and walking distance to practically anywhere in the West End. The owners were great to deal with; helpful, professional and prompt in (e-mail) answering any questions. We were also happy that Samantha allowed us to store our luggage in the apartment on our departure day as we had a late flight and she even helped us arrange for the transportation to the airport. Thank you! 22 September 2014 - 09:45:30

Overall, would highly recommend this apartment, as it offers tremendous value for the rate. The apartment itself is bright and clean. The bed is very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with cutlery, cooking utensils (frying pans, etc) and plates, bowls, glasses, etc, which was great for making breakfast and heading out to do some sight-seeing. Samantha was prudent in responding to our emails before arrival, providing detailed instructions on how to get to the apartment from the airport, and for meeting us at the apartment on time. The location of the apartment is fantastic. 2 minute walk to the Goodge St. tube station and only a 10-15 minute walk to Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square. There are good pubs and a grocery store just outside the apartment. Definitely book this flat if you're visiting London for sightseeing and are seeking great value for your money. 13 October 2015 - 15:17:49

Apartment was clean and comfortable. The owner was very accommodating. The only concern, the steps leading up to the apartment are circular and steep. Other then that, a delightful stay. 29 July 2017 - 00:29:00

I really liked my staying in Samantha's flat! Small but fully equipped and clean. Fitzrovia then was a great quite location, everything's esscthere:, restaurants, bars, supermarkets and Oxford Street and Soho just around the corner. I enjoyed a lot staying there I will advise my friends about it! Monica from Italy 01 September 2017 - 15:58:00

We really enjoyed our 12 night stay at Samantha's. The apartment was conveniently located to the tube, restaurants and attractions. While the kitchen was small, it was well stocked. We weren't cooking a lot, so it wasn't a problem for us. The bedroom was generously sized and the bed was comfortable. Our only complaint was we were aware of the music from the club in the basement. The music quieted down around midnight. Outside of that, the apartment was very quiet, especially considering the amount of pedestrian traffic on Goodge Street. While it wasn't a problem for us (in our mid 60's), the apartment is on the third floor (two flights up), so it may not be appropriate for people with mobility issues. 03 October 2017 - 00:57:00

Great location as it allows you to access multiple tube locations. Additionally, it is in close proximity of many bars , restaurants , etc. for easy access to meals and nightlife. And lastly, Sam is extremely detail oriented and will make you feel welcomed upon arrival. Will stay here again on my next trip. 16 November 2017 - 16:27:00

I stayed in Samantha's apartment in early December for six nights, and it would have to be one of the nicest private rental apartments I have stayed in. It is larger and brighter than the photos suggest and very well organised - I had everything I needed for my stay without it every feeling crowded or cluttered. The kitchen is compact, but again had everything I needed and it was great to have a washing machine in the apartment. Communication was very straightforward with Samantha, who kindly checked in with me during my stay. It is up two flights of stairs, however they are normal width stairs - not the usual narrow ones you often find in Europe - so there was no issue getting my (stuffed!) suitcase down the stairs when I left. The location is great - close to Oxford street, Tottenham Court Road, various supermarkets, multiple tube stations and endless number of cafes and restaurants. There is a bar in the basement of the building, but it is not open very late so noise was not an issue. I was staying on my own and felt very comfortable in the area. I have no hesitation in recommending Samantha's apartment, and would love to go back one day, but stay for longer next time so I can try more of the local food! 26 December 2017 - 23:08:00

My 21-year-old daughter and I spent a week in Samantha's flat in September 2017. We were essentially first time visitors to London; though I had visited before, it was over twenty years ago, so we were completely unfamiliar with the city. Samantha's flat was perfect - it is in a lively neighborhood with restaurants, a grocery store and multiple tube lines near by, yet little to no street noise in the apartment itself. It is in walking distance to major tourist destinations like the British Museum, Covent Garden, SOHO and Chinatown. The flat itself is sunny, clean and perfect for two people, with room to spread out, a little kitchen (it was stocked with dish washing liquid, instant coffee, sugar), and a small washing machine (no dryer). We were lucky enough to check in early and out late; Samantha connected with me in advance with detailed directions getting to the flat from Heathrow, and met us upon our arrival, with very helpful information and advice about the apartment and the city. A great stay in every way. 08 October 2017 - 15:31:00

We had a lovely stay in this flat on Goodge Street in the heart of Londons very hip Fitzrovia area. Let me begin with the neighborhood. Fitzrovia is a happening part of London with great pubs and restaurants. Its also convenient to 2 tube stations which makes getting around London very easy. Samantha, our landlady was a delight and couldnt have been more accommodating. I especially valued her reminder about crossing streets in a country where cars drive on the left side. The flat itself is as advertised, clean and cozy. We loved staying in the heart of things. One thing you may want to consider if you have mobility issues: The apartment is on the third floor and theres no elevator. 17 October 2017 - 22:26:00

We just spent 7 nights In this great little flat centrally located, In the heart of a great little neighborhood. Tons of coffee shops and great eateries right outside your door. Every option available especially if you have dietary restrictions. Right on the corner is a juice bar also serving home made almond milk beverages and around he corner a gluten free bakery with breakfast and lunch options. Getting around was quite easy by tube or bus and we were able to walk to most shopping, china town, all theaters, Soho etc.... The place had a tiny kitchen but we didn't try using it at all. I would give this flat 5 stars if it wasn't for 2 things there is a bar in the cellar next door and Friday and Saturday night you can hear the music until late... earplugs did the job...I'm a light sleeper.. and if it was a bit tidier... a few cob webs in the corners on the ceiling and dust across the mirror frame baseboards and the wires by the bed. 13 May 2017 - 11:59:00
