The side street where the flat is located is on a (fairly) quiet side street. The flat was good, and the hosts were very communicative (even fixed a broken heater within 12 hours of arriving). It could use a few more amenities, especially if you want to cook. Beds were ok, not great. Overall very good place to stay, very central. 03 July 2017 - 18:57:00

I'm rating it 5 stars because everything appeared new, clean and worked. They were waiting for us at the apartmental when we arrived. Clemon even texted us before we got out of the airport to see when we would be there. It's not a 5 star place. It's just a clean and small 2 bedroom with a pullout couch that was perfect for 5 of us. Just make sure you ask where the toilet paper and soap is stored. We bought some at a store and then found their storage the last evening. It's very close to an open street with lots of restaurants, markets and shopping. So nice to walk 50 yards and have coffee along open steel at the cafe. We used Uber versus the metro since we had an older traveler with us. We could have cooked there but never tried it. Something we learned ia that it's not common for a French place to have a dryer. You hang you clothes after using the washing machine. . 07 July 2017 - 13:19:00

Travelling as a family of 4, we had a great time as our base in Rue Montorgueil. The apartment was clean and walking distance to cafe's, restaurants and shopping. Would highly recommend. Thanks also to Clemente for meeting us. 12 July 2017 - 21:46:00

Very spacious & clean. The host was very friendly and the location was great. Tip: download google map of Paris before you go. Taxis had trouble getting to the exact location. No AC, but fans and windows kept place cool. 27 July 2017 - 17:32:00

Clean, comfortable and fully equipment. Perfect for our quick stay in Paris. Situated on the 3rd floor, has a small elevator so you don't have to carry your luggage up. Perfect for two couples or family, the two bathrooms meant there was privacy even though the apartment is a typically sized Parisian apartment. Located on a quiet street just steps from a bustling area with cafes and independent food shops. Highly recommended, will stay again when in Paris. 08 September 2017 - 07:57:00

The apartment was in a great location and nicely furnished. However, it could benefit from the types of household items you would expect to be there, like extra toilet paper and tissue, paper towels, soap and shampoo. Wonderful restaurants nearby and it was easy to walk or take the metro to all the major sights from this location. 05 October 2016 - 12:33:00

So close to everything! Montorgueil boasts a charming pedestrian market area filled with terrific little restaurants, bakeries and food shops. It's also withing walking distance to several of the well-known sites and (if you don't want to walk that far) it's only a few blocks to the Chatelet & Les Halles stations where several lines meet (including the RER) making it very easy to get just about anywhere in Paris. The apartment itself is very comfortable and the bedrooms and living room are surprisingly well-sized. Easy check-in process and good wifi connection. The only improvement I would suggest is that the apartment be stocked soap, shampoo, coffee pods and extra paper towels, but we easily purchased those items by simply walking around the corner. Would definitely stay here again. 21 October 2016 - 01:38:00

Great location with close proximity to several pedestrian roads filled with boulangeries and wine shops plus of course many cafes open from breakfast to evening drinks. Side street meant no sound of the busting areas. Walkable to the Louvre and city center or 5 minutes from several metro lines. Good size bedrooms and living room was plenty of room for 2 couples to stay and hangout in for a week. The extra WC was a convenient bonus. Easy remedies that would have made the stay better were poor quality pillows and bedding. Also, we had to purchase some basic paper goods like extra toilet paper or paper towels. Final suggestion would be to have at least 4 regular wine glasses. It's France after all! 13 May 2017 - 17:50:00

This 2-bedroom apartment half a block from the lively Rue Montorgueil area was perfect for our Paris visit. This location is an easy walk to so many sights -- Pompidou Center, even the Tuileries, the Louvre, as long as you can walk a mile or less. Montorgueil has many shops, cafes, bakeries, butchers, fish monger, cheese shops, and grocery store --- all either on that street or a block away! The apartment, having 2 full baths, plus a third w.c. and sink, makes it very convenient for two couples. Rue Greneta was, for the most part, a quiet street, except for early morning trash collection days. Don't miss buying cookies and brownies from the Americans running the shop across the street. One complaint: the sheets were paper thin, and the fitted bottom sheets were nubby with pills--very unpleasant and an indication they should be tossed. Please spring for new ones! We paid 60 Euros for linens and cleaning, so put some of that money towards new bed sheets! Overall, the apartment more than met our needs. I heartily recommend it! 01 July 2017 - 16:08:00

This place was in a great location. As a family of five it is difficult to find accommodation and this fitted us comfortably. We were able to drop our bags off early and communication and arranging things was easy and quick. It lacked some basics things in the kitchen and had basic cleanliness but overall was functiional enough for our stay. Had two bathrooms as well which was handy with a large family. 01 October 2017 - 05:46:00

We found the apartment very comfortable for 3 adults, with a large kitchen and plenty of hot showers. The location was wonderful being close to the pedestrian area and metro. There were some noises in the morning due to construction in the building next door, which motivated us to get out and see the city. We found groceries and snacks nearby in the pedestrian area, as well as many restaurants and cafes. The kitchen and bedding were generally well stocked, though a toaster or microwave would have been useful. Altogether, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment to others looking for a quiet, convenient, comfortable, and reasonably priced place to stay in Paris. 12 June 2015 - 23:06:57

Very nice and clean. one block from seedy area, but also one block from active restaurant scene, but I guess that's Paris. Walking distance to Notre Dame. 04 October 2015 - 14:42:06

I was looking forward to our recent family stay and based on the reviews, didn't consider encountering problems with the apartment. I'm stunned at the positive reviews and how some of the more glaring problems haven't been flagged yet. The person who met us was prompt and serviceable, however we found the apartment to be in poor shape and not to match the (professional?) pictures - or pricing justification - posted online. The cleanliness of the apartment leaves much to be desired. A basic cleaning had been done and the linens smelled of soap, however the towels and bed spreads were stained, bathrooms were not thoroughly cleaned and had grime on the drawer handles and in the tiles, there were missing or non-working light bulbs in both bedrooms, the kitchen, and living room, missing stoppers in bathroom sinks, etc. There was left over food in the kitchen cabinets, junk (cleaning supplies, papers, unidentified objects) in most of the cabinets. We also found that basics such as hand soap and toilet paper were missing. The entrance to the apartment is abysmal: holes in the walls of the stairway, peeling paint, smell of urine. I understand that is out of control of the apartment owner, however it doesn't bode well when the apartment seems to be a reflection of the hallway. I took pictures (and wish I could include in the review) and sent along with my comments directly to the property manager. What had promised to be a haven to relax in for our week long stay in Paris, turned into a place we tried to be in for as little as possible. After 8yrs of VRBO rentals, this is hands down, the most dirty and disappointing rental I've encountered. 31 October 2017 - 08:55:00

Must improve essentials like linen and bigger garbage disposal. Ideally cribs for babies and they should not be left to guests to install! 03 June 2017 - 21:34:00
