WE ARE CURRENTLY UPGRADING THE PROPERTY WE ARE INSTALLING A NEW BATHROOM, NEW FLOORING, IMPROVING OTHER AREAS IN THE APARTMENT AND REPLACING THE ROOF. WORKS WILL BE COMPLETED BY THE END OF MARCH THIS YEAR AFTERWARD PROPERTY WILL LOOK MUCH BETTER. FLAT 2 Located in Kensington, one of London's most fashionable areas, there are two stylish, modern, apartments for rent. Each of these apartments has 3 bedrooms and they are perfect for 3 people, although they can easily accommodate up to 6. It is a residential area in the heart of London, with all the amenities you need and all tourist attractions nearby. Royal Albert Hall Holland Park Victoria and Albert Museum Harrods Whole Foods Hyde Park Kensington Palace Kensington High Street tube station with District and Circle lines is 5 mins walk from the property and Earls Court Station with Piccadilly line, District line and circle line is 12 mins walk.

    We really enjoy in Miguels house. House is beautiful and clean. Linen is also very clean and high quality, including the towels. Ana was always quick to respond. We felt she took well to take care of us. When we made a mistake with the TV, Ana personally came back without delay and helped us correct it. On this same visit she also spontaneously and very kindly gave us free VIP tickets to TATE museum. This location is really convenient and good for kids too. We have three boys. 5years old, 3years old and 1-year-old. They have superb parks near Ana's place, including Kensington Gardens where Kensington Palace is as well as a fantastic playground built to commemorate Princess Diana. We walked and played there every day. 1. Shopping, 3min work to supermarkets including Wholefoods Supermarket. 2. The park 5min walk 3. The restaurant just downstairs and also the good restaurants nearby her place. Restaurant below was separated by another flat and there were absolutely no issues with noise. 4.     The apartment is very clean, warm, comfortable and very well-equipped. There are three spacious bedrooms and a large living room with a big flat screen TV. The location of the flat is excellent; about 5 mins walk from High Street Kensington and 10 to Earl's Court tube stations. Miguel, our host, was extremely kind and attentive, easy to contact and any question we had was answered immediately. We were allowed to leave our bags in the apartment on the day we checked out because we had a late flight.     We had a fantastic stay at this flat! It is spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. Rarely do things live up to one's expectations, but this flat certainly did. The location is pretty perfect - on a quiet street but incredibly quick and easy to get to the Tube, shopping, food, pubs, etc. Plus the restaurant downstairs serves excellent food and drinks.     Our family of 5 (3 boys ages 18, 15 and 12) comfortably stayed in the upper flat on Abindgon Road. The unit was perfect for us. With 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, we all had ample space. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a modest dinner. The flat was not over-the-top luxurious, but it was clean and comfortable and perfect for our 4 night stay! The flat is easy walking distance to the Tube and to Whole Foods, where we went daily. There is also a closer grocery and a corner market with good supplies. While we did not eat at the darling restaurant below the flat or at the cute breakfast/lunch spot across the street, both looked delicious. They did not create much noise (no sleep issues).     The flat is in the perfect location for dining, shopping and strolling in the park. Very close to Kensington High Street tube. Terrific coffee shop across the street and lovely pub located below the flat.     This is our second time staying at this flat and still love it. it's very comfortable, even for 6 adults this time. Ana is a great communicator she responds quickly and made the checkin and check out very easy for us. The location is the best, a great restaurant wine bar The Abingdon is downstairs and lots of places to eat, shop and take away in the surrounding blocks.     Fabulous flat for a large family, we really enjoyed staying here. (Just note as the flat is on the 1st floor there are a few stairs so be prepared to lift luggage on arrival and departure). The flats location is perfect, quiet but yet central, all transport options are an easy walk away.     We fully paid for a rental in March of 2017, 5 months before our August stay, based on the amazing photos, great location and fantastic reviews. The location was truly great but in-person, the interior of the flat was nothing like advertised. 1) The carpets were worn and dirty. 2) The walls were dirty (some with holes). 3) The wallpaper was peeling off in some rooms. 4) Half of the windows didnt have locks on them and had to be propped open with logs or silverware to get any air. This was a huge security risk to us in a foreign country! At no time was the flat ever 100% secure or locked. 5) The plumbing was a disaster. The master shower drain was clogged and over flowed every time we used it. The second bath tub had holes of missing caulk and leaked if the water got anywhere near the edges. The toilets never completely flushed. The washer overflowed the kitchen sink onto the floor. Every load after that left all of our clothes smelling like moldy, sour sewage. 6) The beds were worn and lumpy and the linens for the sofa bed didnt fit so we had to pull linens from the other bedrooms to make up for it, which left the other bedrooms without linens. My final complaint is the very poor communication about our security deposit refund which we have yet to receive. I emailed Miguel the day after we left and he assured me that it would be refunded within the week. After two weeks I emailed him again and he then claimed that it was not under his control to refund our deposit, but that it was now Home Away's responsibility. I immediately suspected fraud and called Home Away to complain only to find out that Miguel had not filled out the proper paper work to refund deposits. Home Away has not assisted in getting our security deposit back so if something goes wrong do not expect them to step in and help you out. We felt extremely bait-and-switched by the photos online. The property ID shows amazing, bright photos of this rental but thats not at all what was waiting for us. Had we seen actual photos of the current condition of this place, including a description of non-operating plumbing and lack of security, we absolutely WOULD NOT have rented it. This was a truly disappointing and stressful experience to have on our vacation. Do yourself a favor don't fall for these phony photos; rent another flat. 01 September 2017 - 20:03:00

    Outstanding location. The property is very comfortable. The only drawback are the stairs you need to climb to the top flat. But the location is magnificent. Bonuses: The Abingdon pub below, has great food for lunch/dinner; and the Nouvelle Delicatessen across the street serves wonderful coffee breakfast/lunch. A few blocks from Kensington High Street underground station, which itself has a great place in Bill's for breakfast/lunch. Parks, churches, markets, and other places to eat are all close by. If you need to ship stuff home, there is a place right on Kensington. We had no problems getting to the place, checking-in or out.     The owners were responsive and accommodating and the flat had everything we needed with extremely nice linens and comfortable bedding. The rooms are large by central London standards and we had a very comfortable stay with four adults and two young children. The location is what earns the five stars. The neighborhood is amazing, with a wonderful high end pub below, an excellent cafe across the street and a Michelin Star restaurant a block away.     Stayed in early January 2018. Pros: The owner flexible with early check in and location is good. Cons: The apartment needs an update. The pictures do not reflect current state of apartment. Stains in various walls, both bathroom showers in very poor condition, overall cleanliness should be improved. To top it off Internet access was quite spotty.
