I was so surprised when I checked in this apartment. It was even much better than I thought. The building is new, less than two years. The apartment is very spacious with three bedroom snas two full bathrooms. Jennifer was very helpful and cheerful lady. She gave us lots of tips on the markets, restaurants even cake house (I had really tasty cake from Lady M). The apartment was equipped with in house washer and dryer, which is really convenient for travellers with little kids. My daugher got a nice crib and totally new bed linen. The beds are comfortable and all furnitures are new and premium. Our whole family of 6 people had great time in New York. It's just like a home, much much better than hotel room. The neighbourhood is quite good and convenient. You can walk 5 minutes to take trains. The building has a staff on call in the daytime. Everything is great. 15 May 2014 - 16:41:53

Comfortable beds. The owner accommodated us by letting us check in early. Would likely not stay here again because it was a bit too far from the areas we visit when we come to the city. 27 March 2017 - 16:55:00

I was visiting NYC with family (wife, 5 and 8 y/o boys, and mom). Space worked very well for our group. 1 block to subway was great, a few nice parks in area, and well furnished (except could use a little more window coverage in 2 twin bedroom. I would definitely recommend for similar size group. 04 July 2017 - 07:38:00

While this apartment is a little bit further north then I would've preferred, with the new yellow line Q train stopping just one block away, the location was amazing. It's two long blocks to the green stop or one short block to the Q. Super easy to get downtown via either. I had understood the listing to state that there was a sleeper sofa which we had planned to use, and when I determined that there was not, Nick was super quick to provide a rollaway. He was excellent to address any needs we had. The appt was very bright and open. There is a Dunkin' Donuts, Perk coffee shop, and a McDonald's right around the corner making breakfast a snap. There is a Rite Aid at the Q line entrance and a CVS around the corner for any last minute needs. A lot of the reviews talked about walking several blocks to the green subway line, but with the new Q line opening January 2017, transportation could not have been easier. 13 June 2017 - 14:42:00
  6. Although we are frequent NYC visitors (and one of us is an ex-New Yorkers, if anyone can be an ex-New Yorker), this was our first extended visit to the upper East Side. The neighborhood has everything you need and plenty of restaurants of every kind easily within walking distance. The new extension to the Q line is a short block away and gets you to midtown in 4 stops and all convenient connections to the other subway lines. The 96 bus takes care of any cross town needs. Central Park (which I've never seen looking better) and the museums are within walking distance. The apartment is in a small complex, roomy, well maintained and surprisingly quiet. Jennifer (the owner) and Nick (the housekeeper) were available, if needed and both very friendly & helpful. I thought the price, given the apartment size and location was very fair. 22 May 2017 - 17:20:00

We appreciated dealing with Jennifer, the owner. So helpful. We can't say enough about Nick, the caretaker. The apartment is very comfortable, equipped with everything you need. It is conveniently located to public transportation. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend this apartment to everyone!! 04 April 2017 - 13:08:00

The condo was roomy, very comfortable for six adults and two children, and very quiet. We had easy access to two Subway lines, the Q and 6th which took us to just about everywhere we wanted to go. The area had every thing you could need within a three block walking distance. We really loved Nick's to eat dinner at, good flavorful food, good prices, plan to share, there will be more than enough. When we needed something our housekeeper Nick was right there with it. Two words of advice, Jennifer is a slow to response but you will hear from the closer you get to your arrival and the front bedroom is bright in the morning so put the early risers in that room. We are talking about when we will come back and we want to rent this condo again. 31 July 2017 - 14:10:00

Wonderful lay out, just as described. Easily sleeps 8, especially if 2 are kids. Great neighborhood, subway right there! Can't wait to go back! 31 October 2017 - 02:19:00

We had a great stay at our Upper East Side condo. As stated -conveniently located 1 block from the subway station with CVS right on the same corner, to run in for items we forgot (umbrellas, hand sanitizer and snacks etc). Owner Jennifer and her property manager,Nick were great to work with. In NYC for daughter's off-Broadway show, and her friends stayed in Soho in a shoe box for more money. Will definitely stay here again ! 17 October 2017 - 22:56:00

We were a group of 4 adults (we expected 5 which is why we booked a 3 bedroom but one person dropped out). The unit was very large and allowed each couple to say on either end with the kitchen and living room in between. Jennifer was very helpful, particularly when the AC went out. Fortunately, she was in the building and came by to remedy the problem (the fuse box needed reset). There is a Gristedes grocery story just two blocks away and a great breakfast place, The Barking Dog, just three blocks away. There is a LOT of construction going on around the building but it was quiet at night and in the morning. There are a lot of windows which is great for letting in light but you may want to bring a mask for sleeping. There are no room-darkening curtains or blinds and it is pretty bright in the bedrooms at night. We really enjoyed our stay and Jennifer was very accommodating. Our deposit was returned within one day. 10 June 2014 - 16:20:45

Great location for visiting Met Museum, Guggenheim, Central Park etc. Convenient access to subway, a 5 min walk away. We found a great selection of restaurants nearby and ordered take out to enjoy in the apartment after long days exploring the city. The apartment was quiet and very spacious with great light from windows on 3 sides of the apartment. 30 August 2014 - 20:08:34

We stayed in this beautiful apartment while taking my daughter to look at colleges, and also do some sightseeing. There was plenty of room for three teenage children, and the living area is enormous. Everything was new and very well maintained, and Jennifer is professional and well organized. Walking back late at night the area seemed very safe, and the subway is a few blocks away and will get you to midtown in about 10 minutes. There are great but reasonably priced restaurants in the area, and -while there is quite a bit of construction around- overall much quieter than more touristy parts of NYC. Jennifer let us stay past check out time, which we really appreciated. Overall, highly recommended. 22 February 2015 - 23:53:22

This apartment was completely suitable for our needs, but we probably won't stay again. The beds were horrible. All of us slept poorly on the foam mattresses that were as stiff as sleeping on the floor. The couch is best for sleeping. Also, the parking garage is right next door and, while great for convenience, the chime that each entering car makes reverberates in the apartment at all hours because the properties share a wall. The unit was clean and sparsely decorated, much like a hotel room. But again, it was adequate. And for the price, I think I'd rather be in a hotel. 09 November 2017 - 18:42:00

This is a roomy apartment conveniently located near subway, convenience store, and restaurants. Great for family; balcony is wonderful bonus. Thanks Jennifer! 13 November 2017 - 13:24:00
  17. Jennifer was very accommodating when our prior rental cancelled our reservation two days before our arrival. Her penthouse is very spacious and well kept. It is very quietwe felt as if we were the only ones in the building. Although we were quite far from the main attractions n NYC, there was a subway station only a block away which took us directly to Times Square. We loved that we were walking distance to Central Park, though. This would be a great place for families looking for space and a great place to escape and rest after a day exploring the city! 04 December 2017 - 13:50:00

For our family of six adults, the space was perfect. The subway, grocery store and even Starbucks are within walking distance. We had no problems checking in and Jennifer responded back quickly when we had questions on checking out. We were pleasantly surprised for our holiday trip! 01 January 2018 - 17:29:00

We are a Spanish family and we have been accommodated in this apartment 8 people (6 adults and 2 children) from 12/27/17 to 03/01/18 and the experience has been great. It is a quiet apartment, very spacious and the photos perfectly reflect reality. Located a few meters from the metro station of line Q, one of the main and perfect to move around Manhattan without any problems. In the area there are supermarkets and restaurants where you can dine or buy food to go. The communication with Jennifer has been perfect at all times and the attention received by Nick, the housekeeper, fantastic and efficient since we arrived. Without a doubt, a highly recommended option. 04 January 2018 - 08:57:00
