This two bedroomed second floor flat is set within a secure purpose-built block and has been carefully refurbished throughout in this great location. The property comprises spacious open plan reception room and fitted kitchen with dining area seating 6 persons. Two good-sized naturally bright bedrooms with a lovely super king bed in the main bedroom and a king size bed in the second bedroom. The Bathroom comprises bath and shower. Chepstow Villa's is located moments from the very fashionable restaurants, shops and bars of Notting Hill, Portobello and Westbourne Gove. Also walking distance from Hyde Park, and High St Kensington. Notting Hill Gate (Central, District and Circle Lines) is the nearest underground station. Property dimensions: Reception room/kitchen 23' x 16'3 Master bedroom 13'3 x 1',9 Second bedroom 13'3 x 11' Approx floor area: 789 Ft2/ 73M2 Please note for all bookings we require ID of the travellers and purpose of visit at our flat. Re Christmas Bookings and New Year, please note that if you want to stay over this period , then you must arrive at the property by 6pm on the 23rd December for Christmas and by 12 midday on the 31st December .

    Nice appartment - the pictures show exactly what the apartment offers.     I met the owner at the property. Great place and amazing location. Close to the underground....7 minute walk and 4 minutes to Portobello road. The owner was easy to talk to and responded quickly.     My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It is centrally located to Notting Hill and the Kensington areas. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance of the apartment. The owner met us on arrival and provided some great recommendations for restaurants.     Just completed a one week stay and enjoyed ourselves tremendously. The flat is in a perfect location - very close to Notting Hill Gate Tube station, Portobello Road, shopping, etc. Paul's son Harvey greeted us, explained everything and made himself available to us throughout our stay.     We stayed in this apartment for 5 weeks. We would not hesitate to stay here again.In fact, we hope we can! The owner is very obliging and was so kind to us during a difficult time : health issues. This apartment suited our needs very well. While we were staying the summer temperatures were in the high 20's and sometimes early 30's. The fans provided in each room were a great help. Although the living room is on a busy road and yes there is traffic noise the bedrooms are facing a quiet street. I slept with my windows open every night . We love this locality and its closeness to the great shops and eateries in and around Westbourne Grove. Also there are great options for buses and Nottinghill Gate tube station is very close giving great access to central London.     We had a great stay at this Notting Hill flat. It was a great location- easy access to buses and a tube station. We were able to see all of the main areas of London easily and enjoyed getting back to our quiet street each day. The flat had everything we needed, including fans for each room (hugely appreciated!). Several grocery stores within walking distance, and an excellent Taqueria around the corner.     First, I want to thank Paul and Jackie for being wonderful hosts! Our flight from Los Angeles was delayed by several hours and we endured a long customs line at Heathrow Airport. Therefore, we were many hours past our anticipated arrival time. They stayed to greet us until we arrived even though they had a night out on the town planned for the 2 of them. Thank you! Regarding the flat - we loved it! It was perfect for our family. We were 2 adults and 2 children (aged 5 and 13). You enter the flat in a hallway. The 2 bedrooms are on the right and the living area/kitchen are on the left, separated by the hallway. You can close the hallway door, providing privacy to both areas. The bedrooms and living area were spacious with comfortable and functional furniture. I loved the dressing table in the master bedroom so I could do hair/makeup while the others used the toilet. The living area had tons of books, games, and toys that kept the kids entertained. Although we were out sightseeing everyday, it was lovely to come back to the flat in the early evening to make dinner or just relax for a bit before going out again. The neighborhood was charming and very safe. The living areas were on a fairly busy street but the noise didn't bother us at night as the bedrooms are on the other side of the flat. The neighborhood was literally a block away from grocery stores and restaurants. It was a 15 min walk to Notting Hill Gate (for us with a 5-year old). We walked to Kensington Gardens several times. It is absolutely gorgeous and there is a wonderful playground there for young kids. We even walked home from Harrods Dept Store one evening through the park and it turned out to be the most beautiful walk of our trip. The major sites like Big Ben, London Eye, etc. are further away but personally I liked being away from the hustle and bustle of the city areas.     I echo the endless positive reviews of Paul's place. First thing - the location is a lovely residential neighborhood. Around the corner are gorgeous shops and restaurants in Westbourne Grove, not to mention all the options on Notting Hill Gate (tube stop a pleasant 10-12 minute walk). Portobello Rd is very close by as well. It's also great for those of you who want to arrive/depart via the Heathrow Express train to Paddington (not cheap, but so hassle free. The tube is a nightmare when you have big luggage), which is then a relatively cheap uber or taxi ride away. The flat is in a more "contemporary" building (with a lift!), but what you trade in old character/charm is made up for with practical accommodation. Both bedrooms are of good size - not true of many 2-bedroom flats on VRBO. The living/dining/kitchen space is a nice place to unwind at the end of a day. We had two sets of keys, which was very helpful. As for our host, Paul is friendly, flexible and will work to help should there be any questions or issues. We had one small problem that he had fixed immediately - and he was gracious about it. He definitely cares about his guests. I highly recommend this flat, particularly for those who relish the idea of staying in a really lovely residential neighborhood. I hope to come back sometime soon!     My wife, toddler, and I stayed here for several nights and it was one of the best VRBO experiences we have had. Paul met us at check-in and made sure that we knew where everything was and how to work things. He had a baby highchair and a crib there all ready for us, which saved us a huge hassle in renting those things for our toddler. The flat was very clean and everything worked. Location wise it is good with some nearby restaurants and convenience stores. It's a little walk to a tube station, but not bad at all.     Highly, highly recommended. Terrific Notting Hilll neighborhood 3 blocks from Portobello Rd, great shops and cafes. Easy walk to Kensington Gardens for a run - so relaxing. 15 mins from Soho and all the great areas for touring. Paul was fantastic. Quiet clean building with elevator and easy access.     This flat was the perfect launching pad from which to visit the sights of London-- it was an easy walk to the tube, Portobello Road, and Kennsington Gardens! There were tons of great restaurants right outside the door, and a grocery store too. Not only did we love the place, but Paul Charles met us at 6am (yes, really) with coffees in hand to welcome us.     Our family of 5 was really comfortable in this flat. It is in an absolutely terrific location and the flat has all the amenities we needed.
