It is composed of 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one, family size) and a light and spacious open-plan kitchen-cum-living space. Wooden floors, fully fitted kitchen, modern bathrooms, Internet access and central heating, are all contributing assets to this beautiful apartment. Bright and well laid out purpose built flat accessed by lift or stairs, which comprises of a comfortable living room with HDTV, DVD player and double sofa bed; the kitchen is furnished with a new microwave, dishwasher, and toaster, ideal for 6 people. There are two bedrooms (master en-suite with double bed and another with 2 single beds) and a family bathroom. Situated in a 2011 built residence and located within 5 minutes away from the public transports link (Lewisham DLR and National Rail), this inviting apartment is ideal for easy access to Central London (10 minutes to London Bridge, 20 minutes to Charing Cross and 30 minutes to London Victoria) We take good care to make ALGERNON a home from home, somewhere that you can kick your shoes off and relax, cook a meal or get a take away, but above all to a home to feel comfortable in. Check-in is between 12pm and 9pm. Checking-in later than 9pm will be charged with 30GBP. Check-out is before 11am.

    We traveled with another couple and had plenty of space at this apartment. With 2BR and 2 Baths we really had plenty of space. The building is quite new, secured, and very well maintained. The WIFI worked and was extremely helpful in getting information for travel. Plenty of maps and brochures for sight seeing were also provided. Nice size refrigerator made making meals easy. As another reviewer posted, the apartment has a 24 hour Tesco express grocery store right down the street. The Lewisham station was five minutes away and made connections easily to other trains bound for central London, airport..etc. We will be back for another London stay.     El apartamento esta tal como se observa en las fotos, limpio y con todos sus elementos perfectos. No esta en el centro de Londres, pero esta dentro de la zona 2 y cerca de los servicios de transporte, bus y DLR, por lo que no es un problema.     The home is really nice and correspondent to the pictures and there is enough space for 5 people Clean and quite, easy to reach with all the transportation and about 45 minutes from city center. All the appliances are working and the basic stuff for the house are available The only problem is the cold water, we have an issue for all the days nevertheless the owner is always available and very kind In front of there is a 24h open minimarket .     O apartamento muito bom. Fica a 10 min a p da estao do DSLR e Comboio. PAra o centro de londres de DSLR e metro so 50 minutos e de comboio 20minutos. O apartamento fica numa zona calma. noite de tao cansado que chegava so queria descansar, pois se quiser animao noturna ter que escolher um apartamento no cetro de Londres.     Bien que situ 45 minutes du centre de Londres, l'appartement est tout fait convenable pour 5 personnes et bien agenc avec ses 2 salles de bains. Quelques problmes avec le disjoncteur dans la cuisine, mais rien de grave. L'appartement est bien quip et la propritaire agrable et ractive bien que nous ne l'ayons pas vue. Le systme de rcupration des clefs est trs au point. On peut regretter cependant l'environnement un peu bruyant. Although situated at 45 min from London city centre, the flat is really suitable for a family of 5 and comfortable with its 2 bathrooms. We had some problems with the fuses in the kitchen, but nothing serious. The appartment is well equiped and the landlady is nice and reactive whereas we didn't actually see her, but she was very prompt to answer all our questions. The system to get the keys is very convenient. The only thing is that the surroundings are a bit noisy and as the flat is quite warm, it's difficult to sleep windows open (but we live in the countryside and so are not very much used to it !!) 29 August 2016 - 10:10:58

    My wife and I chose this property due to its proximity to our daughters home. The unit seems fairly new and was clean and in good condition upon arrival. There was a minor issue with the curtain in the living room and the owner had it repaired right away. It has all the amenities, is spacious, is close to shopping and the train station. The description of the property in the listing was accurate. The tableware could use a little refreshing and I raised this with the owner who promised to do so. This unit is on an upper floor facing the street. There was some street noise in the evening which was the only negative.     Wieder eine wunderbare Woche in London! Wie im letzten Jahr: Die Wohnung ist gro, sauber, bequem und gut ausgestattet, sogar eine Kaffeemaschine (Filter) ist vorhanden. Wre auch zu viert sehr bequem, zu zweit ist sie fast zu gro. Mit dem Lift ist die Wohnung auch mit groem Gepck gut zugnglich. Die Matratzen in den Einzelbetten sind sehr gut (das Doppelbett haben wir nicht probiert). Den Balkon haben wir hufig genutzt, auch zum Essen. Wifi ist zuverlssig und schnell. Die Innenstadt ist mit der DLR sehr gut zu erreichen (ca. 30 Minuten, fhrt tagsber ca. alle 5 Minuten). Die Einkaufsmglichkeit im 24-Stunden-Tesco um die Ecke ist vllig ausreichend, ansonsten ist auch das Lewisham Shopping Center in fulufiger Entfernung. Da wir nur wenig gekocht haben, hat uns das etwas knappe Kochgeschirr nicht gestrt. Es fehlt die Mglichkeit, im Badezimmer einen Haartrockner anzuschlieen, das ist uns anderswo in England auch aufgefallen. Die Steckdose ist nur fr Rasierer. Einziger nennenswerter Nachteil: Die Umgebung ist laut! Vor dem Fenster fanden oft laute Gesprche statt und Autotren wurden laut zugeschlagen. Durch die Hauptstrae um die Ecke fahren hufig Krankenwagen mit Sirene. Auerdem wird wegen der Baustelle auf der Hauptstrae ein Teil des Verkehrs direkt am Haus vorbeigeleitet. Deshalb nur vier Sterne. Falls wir noch einmal nach London reisen, kommen wir gerne wieder! 23 July 2015 - 10:00:32

    Lovely flat - two good bedrooms, two bathrooms. All very modern and clean. Lovely balcony. We went into central London from Lewisham to both Cannon Street and Charing Cross - only 20 minutes by train. We also went to Greenwich on DLR - only four stops to Cutty Sark. Lewisham station is less than five minutes walk from the flat. There's a Tesco express right next to the flat. The flat wifi was good. 19 December 2016 - 11:05:00
  10. We came from canada so may be my definition of clean or expectation may be different but would prefer better customer service below is pro and the cons list. Pro The place looks exactly like the pictures, I mean it wasn't like they had put flowers everywhere or had dining table set up, but it was same like picture Close to the bus stop and DLR Tesco express ( a grocery store ) is beside the building so good for quick thing required at last minute, milk,bread,coffee etc Wifi works Cons Towels were dirty ( I mean dirty, it had oil or some weird stain as if they were used as rags before ) when I let the owner know I was told she will let cleaner know but we were not given anything else, so we ended up buying new ones The washing machine didn't work. Well the dryer part as this machine was two in one so when I put in for a quick wash, I was hoping for a quick wash but the quickest wash is 3 hours!!!!! And dryer never worked. I asked the owner how and followed what I was told but my clothes just kept getting washed, washed 3 times and had to take my clothes wet home. There are barely any pantry items so we ended up buying oil, sugar, coffee, tea etc as none was provided Bathroom has no bath mat so my mom almost slipped and the second bath has a very tiny sink (I think about 16x 12inches ) something around that so it made it very hard to keep the floor dry and you only get one bathroom roll per washroom for the whole stay Check out process was not told to us so on check out date we waited for some one to show up at 11 and when no one did and taxi came we asked taxi to call after 3 try we finally got a hold of the owner and were told about the lock box, we had to pay 20 GBP extra to taxi driver as he waited 45 min for us before we finally left the place we all most missed our train back. The building has weird smell also the apartment is not non smoking as you can smell it when you enter and also I have pretty bad allergy to tobacco so I had a rash for 3 days we stayed. It is quiet far from the actual downtown or places to go as tourist because at night sometimes the DLR service stops for repair or construction and you have to find a taxi which isn't cheap We survived only because we use to come home around 11/12 and leave around 8/9 in the morning This was my stay, I hope everyone else has better luck.     Very well-looked-after, spacious apartment. Plenty of room for 4 people. It contains everything you need for a short stay, apart from drinking glasses! Considering it is close to a main road it is nice and quiet. The temperature was always warm. (in winter time) Walking distance to Lewisham railway station and shopping precinct. We appreciated the parking spot even though we had to pay extra for it. There is hardly anywhere to park around SE London without a permit. 07 January 2017 - 17:57:00

    salve, siamo stati ospitati in alrgernon apartment propriet n. 1029021 dal 14/6 al 17/6. la propriet ci ha detratto dei soldi dal deposito per aver fatto attendere una persona sul luogo che ci aveva mandato la procedura per entrare da soli e che non ci aveva avvertito della sua presenza. l'appartamento era molto sporco (secondo i loro canoni no). Abbiamo pagato le pulizie in modo anticipato ed abbiamo trovato diverse sorprese. lo abbiamo fatto presente con delicatezza e la signora ci ha detto che dovevamo pagare per la sua attesa. non ci sembra ne corretto ne onesto. 22 June 2017 - 09:46:00

    Appartamento vicino alla linea DLR comodo per raggiungere Londra Centro. Arrivati siamo stati accolti da Nana (che aveva inviato anche e-mail con istruzioni) molto gentile e disponibile. L'appartamento l'abbiamo trovato in ordine e pulito. 12 September 2017 - 09:20:00

    Apartment was grubby, wet towels left, lack of crockery and glasses. Dirty balcony with crap left on it. Curtains that don't cover the whole window. It states it sleeps 6 with sofa bed. Sofa bed had no bedding, curtains covered 2/3 of window so light comes in and so can everyone' waking past. When called the owner to complain was told that it was not meant to be used as a bedroom. It said it slept 6 using that room! It took a day to get bedding for that bed. Other bedroom again curtains did not cover the windows sober had to use ironing boards and hovers to push curtains against the wall to try and keep the light out. The apartment is next to a 24 hour Tesco garage so the cars playing music wake you up throughout the night. The beds were small and hard and the bed lining was grubby and had holes in it. The comunal areas stink of smoke and sgdin are dirty. The sink in the kitchen was blocked and woukd not drain so stunk. We even had to clean the kettle before using it! It looks lovely on the website but it's not. I travel a lot with work and stay in many apartments and this was a let now, very very poor. 13 May 2017 - 20:31:00

    Pictures are accurate - this is nice modern(ish) apartment in the Lewisham area of London. A short stroll to the Lewisham DLR station for easy access to London underground and other transportation. We were met by Nanna who I understand is the cleaner/caretaker for the owner Eli. I never met Eli but did speak to her - a very nice woman from my brief chat. Unfortunately we did have an issue during our stay - the hot water system decided to pack it in whilst we were there. A few phone calls to Nanna who tried to assist as best she can. Eventually the next day it was escalated to Eli (should've been sooner). She was very sorry and apologetic so despite the cold water & the bad experience overall, I can't fault the care taken by Nanna and Eli - only that it could've been brought to Eli's attention sooner. We were leaving before a technician had a chance to fix it, so we had 2 days without hot water. Brrrr. 31 July 2017 - 05:17:00

    Upon first entering the building, you are hit with an unpleasant odor in the main lobby and then again in the stairway. The beds were stiff and uncomfortable. We all had a hard time sleeping on them. The water heater is solar powered, which worked great on bright, sunny days. If you took a shower at night or in the morning, however, it was quite cold. The housekeeper didn't explain very well how to turn on the regular water heater. Also, the shower in the smaller bathroom didn't drain very well.     Nice place and clean. Nana did a nice job communicating. Great local ethnic foods within 10-15 minute walk. We ate Sri Lanken and Turkish for dinner. Two small markets within five minute walks. Bigger market 15 minute walk. I underestimated how bad London traffic is so the trips to downtown took 35-50 minutes. Cost for UberX was 13-20 pounds. It was extremely hot for London so we kept the huge windows open to keep it very comfortable. This in turn highlighted how noisy the local traffic is. Closing the windows did an excellent job of canceling the noise but we did not have that option. The lift/elevator for my father was perfect. 22 June 2017 - 18:14:00
