We stayed in the apartment for a full week. The apartment is very well located. We had never been to London before and arrived at heathrow airport, got our Oyster Card at the tube station there which was good for both buses and the tube for 7 days, and rode the train to Gloucester Street. From there the apartment is an easy 15 minute walk. We were met by Donna who gave us a nice talk about the apartment. It is very well appointed. There is an excellent wine shop on Fulham Street and 2 small grocery stores as well all within 2 blocks. There is an outstanding Italian Restaurant, Frantoia, on the Kings Road a short walk from the apartment which we thought was the best eating. To get around we would walk one block to the Fulham street bus stop and get on a #14 or #414 bus getting off about 5 minutes later at the South Kensington Tube station. Tons of decent food and coffee shops here! From the tube station you can literally get to any of the great London attractions within minutes. The transportation was half the fun! We saw the Tower of London where the Crown Jewels are located and the royals chopped off a lot of heads, the British Museum with the Rosetta Stone and best mummies I've ever seen, Westminster Abby which contains the tombs of lots of dead royalty plus Charles Darwin and Isaac Newton, and the National Gallery which has the Sunflowers by Van Gogh. Awesome. The apartment is quiet, safe, nice, in a good neighborhood, and within walking distance of Stamford Bridge where Chelsea plays. We saw 2 games. Awesome! We also rented a car after we left the apartment to see Stonehenge. Note to Americans: driving is difficult in the UK! The steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car, the stick shift is on the wrong side of the steering wheel, the cars drive on the wrong side of the road, they have numerous roundabouts where the right of way is unknown so you'll get honked at frequently, the roads in the little towns are narrow, there's lots of traffic, and there's nowhere to park. It's easier after a few glasses of wine, but that's frowned upon. Certainly use the tube in London! What a great vacation! We had a very enlightening and fun trip. The Brits are very nice and you won't find a better place to stay unless you know the Queen. 19 November 2015 - 02:02:48

Beautiful, light, and spacious flat in a superb location. We particularly appreciated Jude's delicious ice cream. Highly recommend both the flat and the ice cream! 06 June 2016 - 13:08:15

Family of 3 stayed for 7 nights in March 2017. Flat was everything we could have hoped for. Easy to get around London using the Tube or bus system. Wonderful restaurants nearby and stores for groceries. Beds were super comfortable and we would be happy to return if our travels bring us back to London. Highly recommended! 16 March 2017 - 13:43:00

This was a wonderful place to stay. Not only is the property clean, light, comfortable and welcoming, it is also in one of the most convenient locations imaginable. Equidistant between South Ken, Sloane Square and Gloucester Road tubes, you can get everywhere very easily. You can walk around in the neighbourhood at all times of day and night feeling safe and surrounded by wonderful city atmosphere and bustle. A real treat for me as a single middle aged woman in London for a lengthier stay. Fabulous reprieve after busy nights in the West End or the madness of pre-Christmas shoppers. Surrounded by extraordinary cafes for the coffee connoisseur and bakeries for those who like sweeter treats. I will definitely be back. Don't forget to download Citymapper which means that you feel like a total Londoner, jumping on and off buses with ease. Thank you Jude--you made the whole experience friendly and easy! 22 November 2016 - 09:11:52

This flat is in a great location for tourists. It is a fair distance from the underground, but you can take a bus if you want. We had spectacular weather the first week of April so we walked. There is a wonderful bakery just around the corner where we bought croissants every morning. The flat itself is in a very safe neighborhood and relatively quiet (noisy cars on Fulham). The beds were very comfortable and everything in the kitchen and bathrooms was well done. It was also very nice to have a washer and dryer. We would stay here again. Many thanks! 10 April 2017 - 11:21:00

Thank you Jude for all your help with this letting. We enjoyed our stay in your lovely flat. It was very convenient to all the sites and public transit. Thank you again for being so accommodating! 25 April 2017 - 22:12:00

This was a perfect getaway for my dad (71 and healthy), myself and my 14 yr old son. The flat is comfortable with nice working appliances, great bathrooms and lots of light. We cooked a few meals and went out to local spots for most others. Two food shops within a 5 minute walk, buses close by and a 15 minute walk through beautiful residential neighborhoods to a 3 different tube stops. We stayed for 8 nights and would have liked to extend but had to get back to life. 05 April 2017 - 01:00:00

Jude and her team made our trip as smooth as it could possibly be from the time of our inquiry to the day we left. Even when our flight was cancelled, new arrangements were made to meet us the next day. The apartment itself is exactly as described, bright, cheery and more than comfortable for the three of us. The location is ideal --- close to the subway, restaurants and shops. All three of us would highly recommend this apartment and are looking forward to renting it again! 07 June 2017 - 16:34:00

Actually, we didn't get to stay, because of an illness. However, Jude was amazing in her cooperation and desire to help us find a solution. So, friends stayed there in our place, who happened to be in London at the same time. They loved the apartment. I hope we get to come back soon and stay ourselves! 30 June 2017 - 19:48:00

Our family enjoyed our London trip, which was further enhanced by staying in such a wonderful flat in Chelsea. It was so nice to come home to Jude's comfortable and spacious property. The location was ideal ... close to many tube stations and bus stops as well as neighborhood restaurants and stores. We hope to return to London, and would definitely like to rent this property again. Thanks Jude for your flexibility and hospitality. 13 August 2017 - 17:55:00

We stayed here for our first ever visit to the UK and absolutely loved it. The apartment is spacious, close to restaurants and grocery stores, and is easy access to London. The apartment has 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths which worked great for our family with 2 teenagers. It has all the amenities you need - washer/dryer (be sure to empty the water collector on the dryer), iron and ironing board, hair dryer, linens, towels. Also has a full kitchen with range, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Living room is very comfortable with plenty of seating. Also has TV and wireless internet. Every night after a busy day around London, we would settle down together and watch TV in the living room before going to bed. It became "home" very quickly. Elm Park Gardens is a wonderfully quiet street between Fulham and Kings Road and is a short walk to either. Fulham Road has several nice affordable restaurants, coffee shops and small grocery stores. Kings Road has even more restaurants and shopping than Fulham so, between the two, you can find most anything you need. Travel into downtown London is easy. You can walk 4 minutes to catch a bus or take a 15 minute walk to catch the Tube at South Kensington Station. We are from a rural area in North Carolina with no experience using buses or trains but loved how easy it was to travel around the city. We definitely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the area. Communication with the owner Jude and her friend Carol who checked us in was excellent. Both were very helpful from booking through checkout. 27 August 2017 - 16:36:00

I can't use enough superlatives to adequately describe our recent stay in this very comfortable flat in a real classy neighborhood of London. We were two retired couples from the USA and We always felt very safe in this area. The owner, Jude, was very helpful to us both before and during our rental. She even popped in to say good-bye on our last night and really provided a personal touch--- including some samples of her own ice cream. The flat itself was very roomy and there is a lift since it is located on the 4th floor. The building is located between Fulham Road and Kings Road and we took the #14 bus on Fulham and the #11 on Kings which were both very convenient, as well as the nearby South Kensington underground station which was either within walking distance or on the #14 route. Also, there are so many. Restaurants and cafes and shops in the neighborhood. The beds in the flat also guaranteed a great sleep every night. There is.a nearby boulangerie around the corner on Fulham where we bought fresh baguettes and croissants every morning for breakfast in the flat. We loved our stay and hopefully will be able to return sometime. Thanks so much Jude for your hospitality and kindness throughout this process. We would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, comfortable and convenient location in a premier neighborhood of London. 08 September 2017 - 22:27:00

It was so nice after a busy day of exploring to be able to return to Jude's welcoming flat. The rooms are bright and spacious. The beds top notch. The kitchen and baths fully equipped. The location makes both underground and bus transport a breeze. There is a range of restaurants and several markets within a couple of blocks. The museums are an easy walk through lovely leafy neighborhoods. Both times we have stayed it has been hard to leave. Despite over a dozen trips to London there is always a spot not visited. Jude has great advice and has stocked a library of guide books. Despite all the wonders London has to offer one of the nicest days was spent on the couch with a cup of tea and a good book. Can't wait to return 19 October 2017 - 21:36:00

We could not have asked for a nicer flat or a better location. My husband and I were traveling with our two teenagers and it was so nice for them to have their own room and beds. The apartment was bright and cheery, just as pictured. Jude welcomed us with information about the area and suggestions (very good ones too!) for things to do and places to eat. It was a lovely place to come "home" to after our long days sightseeing. We hope to come back sometime! 22 June 2014 - 18:05:24

We had an incredibly pleasant two week stay in Jude's lovely flat. As others have stated it is exactly as described. Great airy space, totally equipped, and the beds and bedding were most comfortable. Jude and Theo have to be two of the most gracious and genuine people on the planet. We visit London yearly so some of our adventures are a bit quirky. This year we did a legal London tour that was fascinating including observing an appeal at the Royal Courts of Justice and a trail at the Old Baily. The choir at the Brompton Oratory was spectacular. Kenwood House at the top of Hampstead Heath is not to be missed. The remains of the Roman amphitheater in the Guild Hall museum was quite a surprise. Counting all the Jude's ice cream signs all over London including those in the Houses of Parliament---such fun. Walks along the Thames from Battersea Bridge to Vauxhall were a great way to work off lunches in London's historic pubs. What a great visit and a great place to stay. We hated to leave! 22 October 2016 - 14:11:46

We (two middle-aged women and our mom) stayed for a week, and Jude's flat was just what we needed. A lift for my mom and our suitcases, comfy beds, not one but two bathrooms, and a location that was excellent. We often took the bus to the tube station, but it's not a bad walk either. Grocery stores nearby, good coffee and breads around the corner, and some great restaurants too. Thanks to Jude especially for recommending the Citymapper app - so helpful! I wouldn't hestitate to return. 02 May 2017 - 23:33:00

I've stayed in this flat twice now, and walking in, it instantly feels like I'm home. Terrific location between South Ken and Chelsea, easy to get everywhere, lovely shops nearby (both mini Sainsburys and mini Marks, as well as wonderful delis and bakeries; a full size Waitrose in the King's Road is a bit of a walk, but do-able). And the flat itself is stylishly homey and comfortable, very spacious and light, wonderful urban views. Easy walk to the river and across the bridge to Battersea Park (great for a runner like me). Heat and hot water are plentiful; in the winter radiator heating is if anything too warm, but you can open the windows and adjust the individual units. The owner is super friendly, as well as the manager. Oh, and a washer and separate dryer--not one of those combination things, a proper clothes dryer! The layout is ideal if you're sharingthere's a very separate en suite bedroom at the back, and a larger bedroom in front with a large bath next to it. Really comfortable beds. Kitchen is stocked with basic cookware; you wouldn't probably do a dinner party, but most everything you'd need on holiday. (And the owners are ice cream makers and stock their ice cream in the freezer!) I hate to even give it this rave because I don't want it to become too popular! To be balanced, one possible negative: the area is of course pretty posh, so the restaurants and shops reflect that, and if you're looking for a diverse neighborhood with quirky individual shops, this is not the area. I have been disappointed (as all over the planet) to see the chain stores and posh retailers take over. But that said, the plusses far far outweigh those small minuses. It's a gem. 10 November 2017 - 17:00:00

We enjoyed a lovely week in London. The apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood, walking distance to everything needed to stock it, but far enough from main streets that traffic noise did not intrude. Buses and the tube were very close. It is spacious and well-equipped. Two full baths facilitate a family's morning routines. We particularly appreciated Jude's suggestions, and her ice cream samples. 11 September 2017 - 13:44:00

This gem of an aparmtment met our expectations completely. After long flights from Australia it was so lovely to arrive and be met by Carol (Judes friend) and be shown our home for the next two weeks! The apartment was cosy, well set out and more than enough room for two adults and a teenage son. Lots of lovely eateries, coffee shops nearby and M&S, Sainsburys within easy walking distance.... This trip we used the bus more and the number 14 was right on our doorstep (booklet in flat) and South Kensington tube was only a short bus trip away too. Proximity to using other buses was great as well and easy to navigate. Walked our socks off and enjoyed so much of our time in London. The flat gave us the opportunity to feel like we were Londoners for 2 weeeks! Thank you again Jude for allowing us to share your wonderful home! 21 January 2018 - 00:42:00
