Lovely two bedroom flat that is situated close to Portobello Rd Market in the middle of Notting Hill. Lots of restaurants, pubs, shops and supermarkets in area. 100m from Tube station and bus stop. Perfect for anyone wanting to be in the centre of West London close to a huge variety of things to see and do. The Space: Modern Flat. 62 Sq m. Two bedrooms, one master bedroom with a superking size bed and one smaller bedroom with a double bed. Lounge with kitchen, bathroom with bath/shower and two basins. Garden flat with your own separate entrance (5 steps down to entrance as the flat is at the lower ground / basement level). There is Wifi Internet, Netflix, Love Film, Playstation 3, Nespresso Coffee Machine, Washer/Dryer, Iron and Ironing Board, and 2 Hairdryers. Absolutely everything you might need to have a comfortable stay! Guest Access: Guests have complete access to the apartment. Additionally I’ve arranged for a concierge service to be available to you throughout your stay, providing you with free on-demand support for booking restaurants, tickets to shows, transport...or anything else you might fancy! You can also book additional housekeeping services like regular cleans or changes of bed linen. I hope that this will help you get even more out of your stay. Full details will be provided at check-in. Interaction with Guests: When I’m not there, you will be hosted by a professional hospitality company who I’ve engaged to look after you in my absence. They are on call to attend to your every need, as I would be. The Neighborhood: Lively multicultural area with markets on Portobello and Goldbourne Rd. There are loads of restaurants, pubs, winebars, cocktail bars and shops. Electric and Leksi Cinema are nearby, as is Paradise for clubbing. Try brunch at Snaps & Rye or fine dining at The Ledbury. Getting Around: A mere 3 minute walk from Ladbroke Grove tube station, which allows easy access to central London and a straight line (Hammersmith and City Line) to the Eurostar train station. There are excellent bus connections at the bus stop nearby: Bus 52 to Victoria Station via Kensington (for Harrods), 7 to Bloomsbury (British Museum) and 23 to Oxford Circus, Regent Street, Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Sq. There are two grocery stores next to tube station (open from 6am to midnight). You’re two tube stops from Westfield Shopping Mall as well. Other Things to Note: Please note: our standard check in times are between 3pm - 10pm. Check out is by 10am. If you wish to check in or check out outside these hours please let us know.     We unfortunately booked this flat in the afternoon prior to traveling to London for our final stop after a wonderful 3 weeks of site seeing all over the UK. We were "approved", but told we could not enter the flat until 6pm the following day due to cleaning schedules. We arrived by cab at 4 pm and were immediately struck at the condition of the street- littered with trash and dog feces. The entryway to this flat was at basement level and was littered with dog feces, trash and debris. The flat was as bad- the paint on the exterior utility doors was peeling badly and doors were off hinges. There were dead, dried up plants in the flower box outside the front window. The cleaning crew showed up and allowed us to leave our luggage inside while they cleaned. When we were given the okay to enter, we were appalled by the unmaintained condition of this apartment. NONE of the photos on HomeAway depicted the filthy conditions of this flat despite the best efforts of the cleaning crew, who doused everything in bleach. Our eyes were burning from the strong fumes. The interior paint was bubbling and peeling away, the bathroom walls and ceiling were covered in mold and peeling paint, the back "garden" was littered with junk and smelled like cat urine (this garden is shared apparently by the occupants of the building). We were stuck staying one night here, as it was pretty late when we heard back from the management company who stated they had no where else to move us to, and gave us permission to leave the following morning with a promise of reimbursement, which to date (appx two weeks have lapsed) has not occurred.
