This wonderful flat is slap bang in the heart of central London, close to fabulous restaurants, transport links and some of London’s main tourist attractions including St Paul’s Cathedral. It has recently been refurbished to a very high standard and there are two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a fantastic open plan kitchen, dining and living room. This would be the perfect flat for up to 4 people looking for a spacious place to stay which is located in Central London. The Space: The flat is located in a secure residential building on the 3rd floor which you can access via a lift. The building is a great example of Venetian Gothic architecture and has a storied history. It was originally built for Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co who were renowned engravers, printers of bank notes, postage stamps and share certificates. LIVING AREA / KITCHEN / DINING AREA The kitchen has everything that you would need if you fancy staying in one night and cooking a delicious meal. The kitchen has been fitted out with modern kitchen appliances and there are a variety of cooking utensils, pots and pans, plates, cutlery and glasses. You are welcome to use our Nespresso machine, which we will provide coffee pods for. There also a breakfast bar with two stools. The dining table seats 4-6 people and has 4 comfortable upholstered chairs. The living area has a sumptuous sofa and and two comfortable chairs. The burnt yellow chair adds a great pop of colour to the room. The 4K TV is a smart TV, allowing you to watch catch-up and on demand services, including Netflix along with Freeview channels. BEDROOMS Both of the bedrooms are of a good size. They both have king size beds, however the second bedroom bed can also be made up as two singles if requested. All of the beds will be spotlessly made up using hotel quality linen. There is plenty of space in the wardrobes to hang your clothes and store your belongings away. Both of the bedrooms have stylish propellor-style ceiling fans imported from America; a very rare feature in London apartments and a great way of keeping cool in summer and maintaining an even temperature in winter. BATHROOMS The modern family bathroom has a bath, separate walk in shower, bidet, basin and toilet. The other bathroom has a bath with shower over, toilet and basin. Large fluffy white towels and toiletries will be provided for every guest. Guest Access: Guests have complete access to the flat. Additionally I’ve arranged for a concierge service to be available to you throughout your stay, providing you with free on-demand support for booking restaurants, tickets to shows, transport...or anything else you might fancy! You can also book additional housekeeping services like regular cleans or changes of bed linen. I hope that this will help you get even more out of your stay. Full details will be provided at check-in. Interaction with Guests: When I’m not there, you will be hosted by a professional hospitality company who I’ve engaged to look after you in my absence. They are on call to attend to your every need, as I would be. The Neighborhood: The area around the flat is a hive of activity. You are spoilt for choice when it comes to finding places to eat. During the day, along Leather Lane there is fantastic street food market every lunch time. If you fancy a little more sophisticated. In the evenings, choose from dozens of amazing restaurants and bars on Exmouth Market. And if you fancy something a little more sophisticated, there are a number of Michelin-starred restaurants within a 10 minute walk, including St John's Bread & Wine (reputedly Anthony Bourdain's favourite restaurant). As the flat is so centrally located, you are within a short walk of many of London's main tourist attractions and business destinations St Paul’s Cathedral: 10 minutes Somerset House: 20 minutes Tate Modern: 20 minutes River Thames: 15 minutes Trafalgar Square: 30 minutes Covent Garden: 30 minutes British Museum: 30 minutes Getting Around: This flat is in a fantastic position in terms of being able to get around London quickly and easily. Farringdon station is on the Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith and City lines is just a 1 minute walk away. Chancery Lane station is also just a 6 minute walk away, giving access to the Central Line which takes you through central London via Oxford Circus and Notting Hill Gate. If you would rather travel around via bus there are plenty of bus stops along Farringdon Road and Clerkenwell Road.
