About listing

The property stands in the Huntley's Cove an up market complex providing swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, tennis courts, gym, on site restaurant and wonderful harbour side walks. The city can be accessed by bus, car and ferry within 15 to 20 minutes. There are 14 restaurants within walking distance. North facing, the apartment is light and airy and is ideal for harbour side living' particularly as the 2 bedrooms are at opposite ends of the apartment from one another. What to do in Sydney: Sydney is one of the worlds greatest waterway cities with perhaps the most beautiful harbour one has ever seen. Any water activity can be found from on site swimming to sailing on the harbor or at sea, diving, snorkeling, and wind surfing (just 1 kilometer away). No visit to Sydney would be complete without visiting the Opera House and if you have the nerve climbing over Sydney harbour bridge where the views are truly magnificent. Another must is to take a Captain Cook harbour cruise where you will tour the harbour in comfort and learn the detailed history of Sydney and the first fleet arrival in 1788. Of particular delight in Sydney is the gastronomic experience which in our view, offers the best food in the world. Darling Harbour is a good place to start delighting in the many sea food restaurants, but do not miss the world famous Doyles on the southern entrance to the harbor at Watson's bay. Historic Sydney: Sydney's history goes back some 40,000 years with the most advanced human race in the world at the time. In 1788 Europeans landed and added to the rich history. There are many historic sites, including The Rocks, a must to visit, especially during the week end market session (near Circular Quay) and only a 15 minute ferry ride from the apartment. Visit Sydney's oldest house and the plentiful museums that share this history with you. Another must is the harbour side Botanical gardens. Shopping in Sydney: Sydney has a wonderful array of shopping opportunities. A must is to visit the Queen Victoria building - a Victorian boutique shopping center built in Victorian times. Pop in to David Jones (Australia's answer to Harrods) and enjoy lunch at the Oyster Bar, particularly enjoying Sydney Rock Oysters (the best in the world). make a special visit to Darling Harbor and enjoy the delights these shops have to offer. JUST HAVE GREAT TIME!

Lovely apartment, very comfortable and clean. It had everything we wanted, the starter pack of groceries was most welcome as we arrived in the evening. We enjoyed travelling on the ferry, the ferry wharf was very easy to get to. There were plenty of buses if you don't want to go on the ferry although we only used the bus once. There was plenty of information about places to visit in the apartment and also ferry and bus timetables. Overall this was a lovely apartment and great to return to after a busy day. I would recommend it to anyone. 07 September 2013 - 15:46:19

We spent a lovely week in this condo while visiting relatives in Sydney. We were extremely impressed with the quality of the home, the cleanliness and the convenience of the facilities. Louise, the house keeper, was incredibly helpful and friendly. It was wonderful to arrive to a fridge stocked with some starter groceries, and a nice bottle of chilled wine! We enjoyed our stay here immensely and hope to return again in the not too distant future! Would highly recommend this condo for your stay in Sydney. 30 September 2013 - 00:40:24

We felt at home straight away and having all those little things to hand which you don't normally have in holiday apartments was wonderful. Robert was prompt with answering queries online and Louise was very helpful. We had a car as we were travelling to Olympic Park (between 15-30 mins depending on the time of day) but the ferry is the best way to get to the city. Considering how close the apartment is to a main road, it was very quiet and it was lovely to walk around the area. Any time we are due to be in Sydney this will be the first accommodation we look at. 03 June 2015 - 10:29:31

This was an excellent apartment in a very nice part of Sydney. It was very clean, and had all the facilities that you required. Wifi was excellent. Louise was very helpful. Used ferries every day, only 10/15 minutes walk away. As we had a car also went to the Northern and Southern beaches, but did not drive into Sydney as the traffic was very bad. On our last 2 nights the Vivid light show was on in Sydney, which was excellent. Would definitely use this apartment if we return to Sydney again. 28 May 2015 - 04:54:40

Usually when you rent a holiday apartment you find it to be basic and functional, not so in this case. This delightful apartment is light airy and comfortable, more like home from home and even comes with a welcome bottle of wine (thank you Robert). Everything that you might need is to hand and transport/shopping are very close by. We are staying here for a month whilst visiting family in Sydney and it has been a great choice. Highly recommended - and we are very fussy people ! Would certainly like to return. Many Thanks. 14 October 2014 - 10:33:08

This is a beautiful apartment in an excellent location. Nice and private and just a short walk to nearby shops, restaurants and bar. The ferry landing is a ten minute walk from the apartment and the journey into Sydney is fantastic. There's also a bus stop a short distance away that will take you into the city fairly quickly (limited stops). Would definitely stay there again when we revisit this wonderful city. 30 November 2016 - 09:23:14

This was a luxurious, spacious apartment in a high standard complex. It was so very quiet, close to bus stop and we loved the ferry ride from Huntley's Point to the city. Excellent facilities in the apartment and very comfortable for our family of four. It was wonderful to have a start-up kit of food . Robert was very prompt with emails and provided lots of information, including travel from the airport to the apartment, facilities in the area and activities and attractions to do on our stay. We have recommended this property to our relatives and friends. 16 July 2016 - 00:40:41

This is a beautiful apartment, one of the nicest ones we have stayed in during our 50 years of renting holiday accommodations. The apartment is comfortable, well equipped, clean and it was lovely having Louise on hand for advice and any problems. The welcoming bottle of wine was great after the drive from the airport to the apartment. Robert replied to all our e-mails promptly. We hired a car as we are in our late 70s and would have found it too much to walk into Gladesville and back for our shopping. However we went into Sydney by ferry which was great and we used the ferries frequently. We really appreciated the loan of the Opal cards which made travelling about very easy. We did not use the pool so cannot comment. We would thoroughly recommend this apartment which was more like renting a home than a vacation rental. 02 April 2016 - 12:34:14

This is a very comfortable apartment in a good part of Sydney for exploring the sights. On arrival you are met by Louise and shown around the apartment which is stocked with a comprehensive welcome pack.Although we had a hire car we preferred to use the ferry for trips into the city as driving in Sydney is quite a challenge. Dealing with Robert is straightforward and emails are answered promptly. I have no hesitation in recommending this property. Wilson family 10 November 2015 - 17:30:36

We stayed at Hunters Hill Apartment #458209 in the Northern suburbs of Sydney in July 2015. It was spotlessly clean and had all the facilities we could possibly need. Having no car it was just a 20 minute walk to the shops at Gladesville and a (pleasant) 10/15 minute walk through the park to the ferry. We used the ferry every day, it was very scenic with great views of the harbour and Sydney Opera House and the kids loved it. At the end of the day when we came back they either played tennis or used the pool, which was just at the end of the road 5 mins away. What more could you want? We found Robert very helpful and quick in answering our initial queries and Louise was lovely. We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone looking for good quality accommodation in an ideal location for enjoying Sydney. Would happily stay there again - it was fab. 13 October 2015 - 21:18:20

The apartment was beautifully decorated, with every small detail thought about to make a really comfortable stay. We loved using the ferry to get into the city and it was so easy. It was also close to the supermarket, just a few minutes by car or bus. We were welcomed by Louise, who ensured we knew where everything was and the welcome groceries were gratefully received. If we return to Sydney, we would have no hesitation in rebooking this apartment, it's lovely! Thank you, we had a fantastic time. 25 August 2015 - 20:34:23

We had a fabulous holiday in your beautiful apartment, catching up with our son who lives in Sydney. All the transport to and from Sydney is excellent and the ferry is particularly enjoyable! Your apartment was home-from-home and lovely to go back to after a tiring day of sightseeing! Thanks again for all of the information available in the apartment, in was invaluable. If we visit Sydney again we will be back in touch! Very best wishes Sue & Martyn, UK 29 June 2011 - 17:21:35

My husband, I and our 17 year old lad stayed for a week. The apartment was large, clean, tidy and very well presented. Very comfortable beds and sofas. Balcony had the sun in the morning for breakfast. Parking is a bit tight for larger cars but, plenty of extra spaces in the back carpark. Louise, on sight was great and made us feel at home and showed us how everything worked. A home real away from home. 10 min walk over the traffic lights to the ferry into Circular key (only 30mins on the ferry and very cheep way to travel. Nearest Coles 10 mins drive down the road. We had an absolutely fabulous time and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the Sydney area. 31 July 2014 - 13:08:53

Our family of 3 visited Sydney for a week's stay during August 2014 and found this apartment to be in a lovely accessible location - easy walk down to the ferry terminal and good parking available. The apartment was beautifully furnished with all the amenities you could wish for - computer, TV, separate bathrooms, equipped kitchen, balcony, washer/dryer and use of gym/Jacuzzi nearby. Robert kept in regular contact with us and his welcome information pack was very helpful and meeting Louise, the housekeeper, was invaluable. Thank you so much for such a comfortable stay as the right accommodation choice really makes your holiday so memorable. Malcolm and Chris Haigh 01 September 2014 - 21:54:43

This is a lovely apartment in the suburbs, very peaceful location. The interior was laid out beautifully and had everything we needed. The welcome pack came in very handy. The walk to the local supermarket took about 20 minutes and the walk to the ferry was about 15 minutes. We loved taking the ferry into Sydney every day. We will be back! 01 December 2014 - 13:11:31
