I was in NYC for a week for work and vacation, and was delighted to have this loft as my home base. To start, the listing was accurate and the communication with the owner was great. Although I've rented apartments in the city before, it still makes me nervous, but I was reassured by emails and info that I received. The loft itself is spacious, well-maintained and quiet. It is great to have the kitchen (vs. staying in a hotel) and the loft's kitchen was stocked with good cooking utensils and dishes. A big plus when staying in an apartment rental. Furnishing was tasteful, bed was comfortable and wifi worked great. Did I mention it is quiet? Good Tribeca restaurants nearby, including Locanda Verde, which is dreamy. I plan to stay here again! Highly recommended. 10 October 2011 - 23:28:28

This rental was perfect for families. Its in a very kid-friendly neighborhood that also has some of the best restaurants and shopping in the city. The apartment is very big and has two separate bedrooms plus a living area which makes it perfect for families. The renters were very responsive and helpful. We'll definitely be back! 24 September 2014 - 17:29:43

This apt is comfortable and larger than the photos suggest. Great food and shopping and sense of neighborhood, just the experience we wanted. The owner was very helpful. We will surely return if possible! 21 October 2015 - 16:37:00

The apartment was just as it appears online. All amenities necessary and internet worked fine. The location was excellent; walking distance to various subway lines, Hudson River Park with its playground, piers and walking/biking path, and too many restaurants to mention. The neighborhood felt safe and a pleasure to walk around to supermarkets and coffee shops. The owners mailed a set of keys but since there were 4 adults, not always coming and going same time; we could have used another set of keys, but didn't want to take it upon ourselves to perhaps you could clear that up before you travel if necessary. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay, would definitely consider renting this apartment again and would like to recommend to others. 19 June 2016 - 00:46:21

We truly enjoyed our stay! The walk up gave us the feeling of being at home in NYC. It is nicely appointed with all the necessities which helped us to eat many healthy meals on our own during our weeklong stay. The apt. is steps from the subway and so the convenience can't be beat. 04 August 2016 - 11:25:00

The apartment was exactly as pictured and described, and was a great deal for the price. The Tribeca neighborhood is excellent - lots of delicious restaurants, nice cafes, easy walk to downtown tourist locations, Brooklyn Bridge, Greenwich Village, SOHO, Chinatown, Little Italy, Lower East Side, etc. Great subway access too, so it is an easy commute to the museums uptown and Central Park. The neighborhood is very safe, as is the apartment. Perfect for a couple or family. 31 July 2016 - 23:05:19

My family (hubby and two young daughters) and I feel like we hit the jackpot by staying in this TriBeCa loft apartment. Plenty of space, very clean and comfortable, and VERY QUIET! You can easily walk to excellent restaurants and bakeries, and it is very family friendly. Owners respond in a very timely manner. We had a fantastic trip. Highly recommend. 10 October 2016 - 21:45:00

My sisters and I stayed at this fabulous apartment for four days, and we were so impressed by it's cleanliness, spaciousness, and comfortable atmosphere. The description and photos on VRBO are spot-on; the neighborhood was also a perfect location. Plenty to see and do right in Tribeca, including restaurants, shopping, and just a short walk to the river. Our favorite place was The Django, a jazz club in the Roxy Hotel, just a couple blocks from the apartment. Easy to get to all of the areas such as Times Square, the 9/11 Memorial, shopping, etc. We didn't get in until after 1am one night and felt perfectly safe arriving back at the apartment; and it was quiet! We'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get away from the hotel scene, and truly stay in a home away from home. Thank you to Jillian, who made the arrangements easy and was quick to respond to all inquiries we had...awesome sevice, awesome apartment! 06 November 2015 - 18:27:10

We made breakfast. All the kitchen stuff was perfect. Bunk beds were fun for the kids. Walked to 9/11 memorial from here - nice walk. Great food around. Close to good subway lines. Adults bed was a little lumpy but I slept fine. Barriers were thin so you have to be quiet when kids fall asleep. Was able to book us the day before when another host flaked. Very accommodating. Super nice. Laundry was smaller stacked kind but worked well. Got deposit back right away. 29 August 2017 - 21:17:00

My mom, sister and I stayed for 4 nights. This comfortable little apartment was located in a good neighborhood. It was VERY quiet and we each had our own bed. The bathroom was large and the kitchen had everything we needed. We were able to easily walk to many of the sites we wanted to see. In addition, the subway and the Go New York hop on/hop off bus were right around the corner. The owner, Jillian, was very responsive when we had questions. We would definitely stay here again. 17 January 2017 - 05:39:00

Two of my friends and I spent the weekend in NY and stayed at listing 316175, the place was great! We found the location on your website, and could not have been happier. We had plenty of room, and the apartment was very clean, warm, welcoming, and well-furnished. We had all of the creature comforts of home; it rained all the first day so having the washer and dryer to get everything clean was a huge bonus. There was ample room for all of us, and the beds were very comfortable. The landlord was very kind and helpful, and made sure we got the best experience possible. They provided advice, directions, and did everything possible to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We also loved the neighborhood! A great area with many shops, restaurants that were all well above average, and plenty of nightlife. We loved the "vibe" of the area, and the people watching was fantastic. We felt very safe the entire time, and enjoyed walking the streets all over Manhattan. Subway service is conveniently located just down the block, and it was a quick taxi to Laguardia. We made it to Wall Street, Yankee Stadium, and Central Park all very quickly. This is a great apartment and a steal compared to any hotel! Highly Recommended! 30 May 2008 - 21:33:59

  14. My husband, I and our two month old son stayed in this apartment for two weeks. It is comfotable, tastefully furnished and very convenient with all the amenities you could want - a well stocked kitchen (as if it were your own), a spacious clean bathroom, wifi and even a simple computer provided. The master bedroom had a comfortable bed and was spacious enough to accommodate our son's travel cot. There is also a smaller room with bunkbeds that is stocked with toys. The location is excellent - right in the heart of Tribeca with many great restaurants nearby, and Soho is only a short walk away. The nearest subway station is only a block and a half away. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends! 21 February 2010 - 22:15:00

My wife, her father, our 15 month old daughter and myself recently spent 12 nights in this apartment in Tribeca. I must admit to initially being a little bit nervous about booking an apartment on the internet however it soon became evident that we were dealing with the owners of the apartment (rather than an agency of some description) and they were at all times very professional in our dealings. The speed of the communication with the owners (ie quick replies to my emails etc) soon gave me comfort that I was dealing with a "real person" and my nervousness soon disappeared. I also note that our security deposit was promptly refunded within days of the end of our stay. Upon our arrival we were extremely surprised at the size of the apartment. The main bedroom was easily large enough to accommodate the portable cot for our daughter and the second bedroom was also a good size. The actual living space in the apartment was much bigger than we had anticipated it would be which was a terrific bonus given we had a toddler travelling with us. The kitchen was as big as the one in our home and was well stock with all the usual kitchen equipment and even a little bit of food (condiments, coffee, etc etc). The owners of the apartment even installed a computer for us so that we had internet access during our stay. The apartment also has laundry facilities (including clothes dryer) which we used on many occasions and made our stay so much easier. The location in Tribeca (100 metres off Broadway) was in close proximity to three different Subway stations, multiple childrens playgrounds and Downtown, Greenwich Village, Chinatown, Soho and Little Italy were all only a short walk away. We found that the location in general was very convenient as could make a decision about whether to catch the Subway or to just walk depending on the weather. We didn't need to catch cabs which also saved us a bit of money. The Tribeca area felt extremely safe even when walking home late at night, we felt safer in New York than we do at home in Melbourne, Australia. The apartment was very quiet given it is at the rear of the block. After hectic days of sightseeing, shopping, visiting playgrounds etc we found that returning to a quiet apartment was very relaxing. Overall, we had a very positive experience staying in this apartment and I would highly recommend that others stay here also. Thanks David 15 April 2010 - 00:38:08
  16. We've stayed in this apartment in May 2010. The place is spacious, well furnished, clean and really quiet. My kids really enjoyed it and so did we. The owner was kind enough to give us a quick guide into the neighborhood and made sure we had everything we needed. We'll surely stay there again on our next visit. 24 May 2010 - 02:58:04

I stayed here with my family in July 2012 for 11 nights. I booked an apartment because my younger son is autistic and needs his own space at the end of each day, which is just not possible in a hotel room. I was a bit nervous about doing this online, but everything went smoothly with the booking. We found that the apartment was in a very quiet street in an excellent location. Plenty to do and see within walking distance and three subway stations within a few minutes walk which made getting around extremely easy - we didn't take a taxi once as the subway service was so good. Although the apartment seemed small on first entering, the layout and use of space is cleverly done to ensure that everything you could possibly need has been provided. Everything was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of spare towels and bedding. New York is a great city to visit with kids and teenagers. We would happily stay here again. 05 August 2012 - 13:51:22

There were no surprises. The property is in a great neighborhood with easy access to shopping and subway stops. The property is in good condition with everything necessary for a comfortable stay, including a cork screw. The hardest part to deal with was lugging my heavy suitcase up the stairs. This or course was my fault for over packing. I enjoyed my stay and plan on renting again soon. 25 May 2017 - 16:46:00

The pros: Very clean and comfortable place with a well-stocked kitchen that was easy to use. Wonderful location convenient to sights and different subway lines. Very good and helpful instructions about apt details. Nice and quiet. The cons: mainly, it's a loft with paper dividers and one wall that don't go to the ceiling. Since we were traveling with our 2 year old, we needed to all go to sleep at the same time, so the noise and light from the other rooms wouldn't bother him. It's partly my fault because the description doesn't suggest otherwise; however, the photos don't show that the walls/dividers stop halfway up to the ceiling. The garbage policy is also a bit annoying (take out trash to the city's corner trash cans, since the apt building doesn't have a way to store trash for guests until trash days). 19 September 2017 - 17:29:00
