Built in 1946 and fully restored in 2016, Sonoma Broadway Farms is a picturesque vacation and corporate retreat rooted in Sonoma history, but rebuilt with a modern sensibilities and a passion for sustainability. Just a mile from the historic town square of Sonoma, tucked inside the Carneros growing region, Sonoma Broadway Farms is only 45 miles from San Francisco, 15 miles from Napa and 40 miles from the coast. Today, our six acre property is both a working farm and idyllic farm-to-table retreat for families, corporate groups and large group getaways. Please note: Sonoma Broadway Farms does not offer weddings. Each farm stay includes a family-style meal for 16 guests prepared by one of our chef partners, compliments of the owner; additional guests can be added for $50/person. Our two modern barn structures offer over 5,000 square feet of living space, completely powered by solar panel. To bring the spaciousness and beautiful natural light of the outdoors in, we added 40 foot skylit, vaulted ceilings inside our Main barn house. This grand multi-purpose entry room also features a fully-stocked modern commercial kitchen featuring a 10x5 foot kitchen Island with a 17-foot lighted Ansil hood over our a gas stove, a large convection oven and 30 gallon tilt skillet for preparing group meals, along with an oversized reclaimed wood dining table that seats 40. The Main Barn House offers four bunk bedrooms, sleeping six guests per room, and three spa like walk-in shower bathrooms. The utility Barn Bunk just steps away has a half-bathroom and eight single bunk beds, sleeping an additional sixteen guests. Tucked between both houses is a dual outdoor shower, popular during warm months. Between the two Barn Houses, our modern courtyard offers 2000 square feet of tranquil space overlooking our farm land. Furnished with adironack chairs, picnic tables, a gas grill and a large gas fire pit, our courtyard is a favorite gathering space for sunrises, sunsets and al fresco dining, year-round. Nestled behind our lavender garden sits our thatch-roofed outdoor yoga studio, a perfect space for groups and individuals to heal, ground and connect through movement, massage, meditation and more. We have 20 yoga mats and blankets available for guests' use and can make arrangements for private classes through our concierge services. During their stay, guests are welcome to harvest seasonal produce from our row crops, herbs from our culinary garden and fresh flowers from the field to create their own farm-to-table experience. We also raise families of chickens, ducks, goats and honeybees on the property and love to share fresh eggs with our guests during their stay. A perfect day starts with a morning yoga class and breakfast overlooking the golden hills, followed by ride to the Sonoma Square on one of our twelve cruiser bicycles for shopping, strolling and wine tasting. We are a group of 19 girls... all familiy.... a mix of moms and singles... cousins honoring 3 bride to be's. Our weekend at the farmhouse was probably one of the best getaway venues I have ever been to or experienced. If I needed some reflection time, I took a walk around the farm to enjoy the sounds and sights of the animals Preston made sure we were all set and comfortable with our stay. The grounds' staff- "J" was amazing and quick in taking care of our needs in the house if need be! I think my most favorite time was sunset, where we gathered all the girls (all 19 of them) with a blanket, glass of wine, and sat around the fire pit with the music blasting on the rock speakers. So amazing! It is such a beautiful property! The private chef was a treat for us! We were able to enjoy the vegetables and eggs from the farm! The kitchen is no joke! The ice maker was huge and always full! The bean bags were so comfortable we would take instant naps on them! When Preston says just show up, he really means it! This farmhouse is definitely a place to decompress and relax. They provided us with a plethora of eggs from the cute chickens out back and fresh vegetables... We want to come back and bring the kids as they would have a great time with the farm animals. Thank you Preston and farm family 10 April 2017 - 23:06:00

We stayed at Sonoma Broadway Farms for a big family get together. Four families were able to fit in the main barn house, with each family getting their own bunk room. We had 7 children under the age of 8 with us, and it was so much fun for them. They would visit the ducks, chickens, and goat every day. They had tons of outdoor space to explore, and the huge indoor space was great too. The kids could play games and run around. The home itself is beautiful: a cool modern barn with a large, fully supplied industrial kitchen, great for cooking for a crowd. I think it was only about 1/2 mile into town so it is easily walkable. I highly recommend this place! 18 April 2017 - 22:07:00

I cannot thank Preston and Sonoma Broadway Farms enough. This place is amazing. We had a small wedding there with many of my family members staying with us for a few days. We had a ton of room for everybody, the kids loved the animals, the adults loved the fire pit and farm to table food. We often rode Preston's bikes into the town square for coffee or shopping, as it is a very easy ride. I cannot imagine or dream up a better place to host family and friends. It is more beautiful than the pictures can even capture. Honestly, we had a hard time leaving because Sonoma Broadway Farms has now provided us with a million memories of fun, family, love and laughter. It will forever hold a special place in our hearts, but at least we have our pictures to enjoy! We are extremely grateful for the hospitality. Thanks, Preston!! 15 May 2017 - 21:48:00

I hosted my best friends bachelorette weekend at Sonoma Broadway Farms and honestly it was unbelievable! First off, Preston the owner was more accommodating than any other owner I have ever had. We were a group of foodies and the commercial kitchen allowed us to prepare amazing food for every meal. We actually stayed at the house the whole weekend and had an amazing time. He helped arrange a chef for our first night in town and then yoga with an amazing yogi who really connected with all of us. The house was perfect for large groups and the bunk beds were so comfy! It is peaceful and lovely! I can't wait to go back and do another group event there. Thanks Preston for begin the perfect host! 20 May 2017 - 04:51:00

Our extended family had an incredible long weekend at the Sonoma Broadway Farm! There are so many great things about this place! There is a huge commercial kitchen with a huge table for family meals. The bedrooms and bathrooms are set up beautifully. In the evenings we enjoyed the courtyard with the fire pit and great speakers, even blankets for sitting out at in the chill. In the days we loved walking amoungst the farm veggies and animals and then we took a bike ride into town. Thanks so much to Preston for taking care of us ahead of time with our special concerns. Sonoma Broadway Farm is truly a magical place! 08 June 2017 - 01:54:00

My husband and I wanted a place we could host a super casual rehearsal dinner as well as a place we could invite anyone who was already in town to come over to and say hello for a drink. Sonoma Broadway Farms was PERFECT. The place itself is beautiful, with stunning views and a chill vibe. The food cooked for our rehearsal dinner was absolutely incredible, and the dessert was TO DIE FOR. Everyone was raving about it. When more people started showing up the space filled up a bit, but never felt crowded, allowing everyone to really mingle. Guests enjoyed going for a stroll and seeing all the animals and vegetables on the farm. It was a little windier that night so most people stayed indoors, but with the huge windows we were still able to appreciate the view. A bunch of friends were able to stay in the bunk rooms for the weekend and they all became so close, they are planning reunions now. Preston was great. He was so laid back and super communicative, I really am thankful we found this gem. THANK YOU! 26 June 2017 - 22:07:00

We had an amazing girls getaway weekend at Sonoma Broadway Farms. Preston was very easy to work with and extremely accommodating to our group. We had more than enough room in the four guest bedrooms with plenty of bathrooms as well. The open layout of the kitchen and living room is very cool with the high ceilings and bean bag chairs! The industrial-like kitchen and long farm table is perfect for a home cooked meal with eggs and all the produce you want straight from the farm! Preston was able to organize for Chef Lauren to prepare a meal for all 16 of us as well as our own yoga instructor with a class on Sunday morning in the living room (mats included)! Sonoma Broadway Farms is just minutes from area wineries and the downtown area complete with a lot of cute shops and restaurants. We also utilized the bikes for easy travel into town for groceries and a stroll around the town. You will love the farm, the outdoor space with the fire pit and the views of the land. We are so grateful for the trip and cannot wait to come back! Thank you Preston!!! 05 July 2017 - 20:54:00

Justine and I had our wedding at Sonoma Broadway Farms (SBF) without really knowing what to expect. We had to change from our original venue at the last minute, and decided to try looking at house rental options. On VRBO we found Sonoma Broadway Farms, and was contacted by the owner Preston on the same day. He expressed there had never been a wedding of that size there before (120 people) and suggested we met up for a beer to discuss our visions for the venue. When I first saw the word farm in relation to our wedding venue, I have to admit I was a little skeptical. Believe us, the farm has a few chickens, which provide all the eggs, a few goats, but mainly fruit, vegetables and lavender. It does not smell like a farm, nor should it put you off. The venue is incredible. Preston is a great guy, who honestly holds the best interests of the client in mind. His personableness, attention to detail and problem soling attitude honestly made our decision to host our reception at the farm a no-brainer. You have so many different options as to the layout of the venue, which really enabled us to personalize every detail of the wedding. Preston provided both catering services through Delicious Catering (It really is that good) with foods all grown right there on the farm, with wait staff, and a parking attendant if needed. The farm slept the Grooms party there the night before the wedding, which enabled us to begin the setup of the venue the day before with our rentals (from Bright Rentals, located less than a mile away) to ease stress on the actual day. The night of the wedding we had 30 people stay comfortably at the venue, in the four main bedrooms, which all sleep six, and the dorm room, which housed all our cousins. The day after we took our time to clear up and depart, without being rushed out the door at a certain time. For three nights accommodation, SBF provides value and comfort for your wedding. We opted to have a DJ at SBF who played music outside so we could watch the sunset over the trees, before packing everything up at 10pm. Due to sound audience in Sonoma, this is a strict curfew for outside music. Fortunately, SBF has an incredible SONOS sound system on the inside, which allowed us to party on until 2-3am. You do not necessarily need a DJ either as the SONOS system is connected to rocks on the outside that amplify music that would provide amazing ambience. When some people wanted a break from the dancing, they went outside to the fire pit that 18 August 2017 - 16:11:00

Wow! My stay at Sonoma Broadway Farms was exceptional. I was there with 15 girlfriends for a birthday weekend. Having been to California Wine Country many times, I was looking for a place where all my friends could convene, entertain, cook, relax, and enjoy togetherness in one place as we hadnt seen each other for a while. The farm offers all of that in a huge way! It slept all of us very comfortably - each with our own bed. The bathrooms were accommodating for even the most high-maintenance gal! The shared spaces provide cozy seating arrangements and an indoor fire place. The kitchen is professional grade and you can help yourself to all the farm goodies - fresh eggs, veggies, lettuces, and fruits - yum! So generous of the host! Speaking of the host - Preston, he left no detailed unturned... From the moment we arrived and throughout our stay we were greeted and tended to by the loveliest people. Preston made it so! The farmer showed us the grounds and introduced us to the animals; a neighbor stopped by to make sure we were stocked with wine. Preston introduced us to the sweetest personal trainer and massage therapist who tended to us all weekend, providing massages al fresco. So pleasant to feel the breeze and listen to the sounds of the farm. We hired a local private chef for a backyard BBQ and had dessert and wine by the fire pit in the evening. On top of that various people stopped by to make sure we had coffee for the morning, understood how to use the sound system (which puts out some big sound by the way!), and how to turn the fire pit on and off. Preston and his team really know how to take good care of their guests. On top of that, the farm is in a great location, just minutes from the downtown Sonoma Square. Its fun to take the beach cruisers for a short ride to town! Before we left, my friends were asking when we could plan our next trip to the farm... It was so lovely! Thank you, Preston! 26 May 2017 - 23:21:00

Fun for the whole family. We all enjoyed the large kitchen table, the firepit and the ability to cook together. Preston is very hospitable and super responsive. The location is also great! One of our best rental experiences yet!! If I had to comment on areas that could use improvement, it would be the TV reception and that we could have used a mirror in the bedroom to get ready, since we were sharing the bathrooms. The automatic sinks were tricky to get used to as well, but I really like their intended purpose. The bloody mary's were excellent. :) 18 December 2017 - 20:25:00

Staying here is not just a place to rest your head, it's an experience. I came with 20 friends and this place EXCEEDED my expectations. There is nothing I can think of that we didn't have. Amazing speaker to listen to tunes? Check! Indoor fireplace? Check! Outdoor fireplace? Check! Bikes to cruise around town? Check! Preston was warm, welcoming and easy to book with. The beds are super comfortable. The showers hot no matter how many people took one. The kitchen is superb for group meals. The farm-to-table dinner was delicious, beautiful, fun. There are not enough wonderful things I can say about this place. A true gem & I cannot wait to come back and do it all over again. Thank you Preston & Sonoma Broadway Farms!! 19 December 2017 - 02:18:00
  13. We had the most magical stay for my extended family About 12 of us stayed for four days and three nights and it was absolutely stunning. The setting is incredible, the home is absolutely lovely, and we had so many private family meals there as well as a bigger gathering for 80 people that was simply marvelous. This home is so modern and so comfortable and just beautiful. Preston the owner could not be more gracious ~ I will remember this 50th birthday experience my entire, entire life. What a very, very, very special few days. 23 December 2017 - 00:28:00

Sonoma Broadway Farms was an incredible getaway for my bachelorette weekend! I was looking for the perfect place for 14 of my closest girlfriends to stay in the Sonoma/Napa area and this place caught my eye. It was everything and more that the listing describes. On the day we were arriving I received a text from Preston while I was on the plane with a photo of mini cakes that were in the fridge for my group to eat when we arrived (they were delicious!), that's when I knew it was going to be a great trip! The kitchen was perfect with the long farm table and large industrial appliances, we could all cook and eat in one place! We were also able to use and pick any of the vegetables and fruit from the farm and we definitely took advantage (limes for our moscow mules, nectarines for breakfast, and kale for our salad at dinner). There was more than enough room for each girl to have their own bed and there were plenty of showers although we all fought for the outside shower, one of my favorite parts! The best part about our trip was after a long day of wine tastings we came home to a delicious meal being cooked by Preston, the food was incredible and fresh. Preston was so helpful and friendly we couldn't thank him enough for the incredible experience! We can't wait to come back and share this property with more of our family and friends! 12 August 2017 - 16:03:00

Our Christmas family gathering st SBF could not have been more amazing. The property is a perfect place for a big family to come together. Preston and his incredible team took very good care of us, meeting every need. The open plan farm house was so spacious, a great place for all to hang out together. We look forward to a return stay. 24 December 2017 - 22:25:00

We had an amazing time at Sonoma Broadway Farms! Preston was extremely helpful even before we arrived, answering our many questions about the area and providing activity ideas. The location was ideal and the house and property are as beautiful as (if not more than) the pictures. It was perfect for our group of 15 to sleep and hang out comfortably without even using the 2nd house. Being able to visit the baby goats, eat fresh eggs and greens from the farm, and coming home to a beautifully prepared meal by Preston's chef on Saturday made the stay all the more special. We definitely hope to stay here again the next time we are in the area! 27 April 2017 - 14:38:00

We stayed at SBF for a long weekend for our family reunion. The accommodations are comfortable. Everything is new and almost anything you would want (entertainment, food, activities both on the farm and nearby) is there. We were there during a heat wave but it was always cool and comfortable inside. There are lots of nearby places to see within walking/biking distance including a great market, a train amusement park, historic parks, downtown Sonoma and nearby wineries. Preston is a great host. He is very responsive, generous, flexible, and laid back. His staff on the farm are pleasant and helpful! Everyone in my family (a very diverse bunch ranging from 6 months old to 70 years old) had a great time. I would strongly recommend SBF to a friend! 10 July 2017 - 05:58:00

It's no surprise that all of the other reviews are raving like I'm about to... IT'S NOT TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!! IT'S THE REAL DEAL! Our experience was a 10/10 for so many reasons. Preston, the owner, was super responsive and accommodating throughout the booking process. He answered all of our questions and helped us with recommendations for our stay. When we arrived it was even better than the pictures! The main house is everything you would want for a big group. The kitchen/entertaining space on one side and the bedrooms on the other end. The kitchen was full of anything you would need (spices, pots, pans, serveware). They even stocked the fridge with homemade bloody mary mix for us!! Made from their own veggies on the farm. Such a treat! The decor was gorgeous and brand new! They've thought of EVERYTHING. From the comfy beds, to the bathrooms being stocked with shampoo, conditioner and blow dryers-- you'll feel like you're in a five-star hotel. We had 18 girls and there was plenty of room and bathrooms for all of us. Rudy the groundskeeper went above and beyond to help us throughout our stay-- lighting fires, taking out the trash, and all house questions. The living/entertaining room was perfect for our mini-bridal shower, games, and lots of dancing (with an incredible sonos system). Finally, the location can't be beaten. It's only a mile from the main part of town and very close to some of the best wineries. There's nothing more this place needs. Book longer than you think-- you'll never want to leave!!! THANK YOU SBF! 15 January 2018 - 20:33:00

If youre looking to host a big group for ANY event.....this is the place! Enough room without feeling cramped, enough fresh air to feel revived, and more than enough food in the gardens to eat! Preston, the owner welcomed us all with a smile and open arms! And he was available to answer any questions while we were there. His staff is awesome also! You can not go wrong booking a stay here! 25 October 2017 - 19:52:00

A beautifully restored modern farm, that can comfortably accommodate up to 40 guests to suit any purpose!! We were there for a birthday celebration, but I could imagine inspiring corporate retreats and unforgettable family gatherings being equally successful there too. Preston was fantastic to work with, as well as his excellent network of contacts across Sonoma County, who helped us to organize wine tastings, yoga sessions and mouth watering farm-to-table meals (catered by lovely Lauren at Goodness Gracious Catering in Sonoma). It really was a birthday to remember and we will be talking about it for years to come - a heartfelt thank you to Preston and the Team! 24 January 2018 - 02:06:00
