About listing

Specious 3 bedroom in the heart of the Lower East Side Perfect for large groups, this oversized 3 bedroom apartment featuring 2 full bathrooms sits in the heart of LES. The Lower East Side is bordered in the south and west by Chinatown (which extends north to roughly Grand Street), in the west by NoLIta, 12 min from SoHo. This unit has 3 queen sized beds which sleep 6 guests. In the living room you will find a pull out sofa bed which can sleep 2 more adults as well as a 46 inch flat screen TV with digital cable. The kitchen is also equipped with a gas top range, oven, refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster and W/D unit. There is dining and silverware for up to 8 guests provided. Two towels per bed are provided as well as 1 set of backup linens. The apartment is also equipped with high speed WIFI service. There is a Washer/Dryer in the unit. Sleeping for 8, dining for 8, two full bathrooms and perfectly located, this beautiful home has everything you could possibly want for a stay in New York City. Close to F train (Delancey) and J, M, Z trains (Essex). Once a notoriously overcrowded and unsanitary slum, the Lower East Side is now one of Manhattan’s most fashionable neighborhoods. Most of the bargain-clothing stores and pickle vendors have given way to indie boutiques and sceney eateries, though there are a few cherished survivors of the former Jewish stronghold, including venerable smoked-fish purveyors Russ & Daughters and pastrami legend Katz’s Delicatessen. The Tenement Museum keeps the neighborhood’s history alive in a series of restored apartments visited via themed guided tours, but most of the area’s cultural draws are contemporary: The arrival of the New Museum on the Bowery several years ago drew numerous art galleries to the LES. The Lower East Side is the home to many private parks, such as La Plaza Cultural. Neighborhood is safe at night, and it has become a popular late night destination. Orchard, Ludlow and Essex between Rivington Street and Stanton Street have become especially packed at night. Please, note there will be an extra charge for the check ins after 6.00 pm - $40, and after 10.00 pm - $80 as well as a standard weekend check in fee (Saturday and Sunday) and all major holidays, $40 before 10.00 pm and $80 after 10.00 pm

The apartment was very nice; updated, clean, and stocked with everything we needed. Having two full baths was awesome. There was a small grocery store close by and we found the location of this apartment convienient. We drove into the city and we had no problems getting in and out. My only complaint was the noise at night. Two of the bedrooms face the street and there were people outside all night long making noise. Also, one night one of the neighbors was having a party and their music kept my parents up all night. Overall, it was a nice, safe place to rent. 26 June 2017 - 12:54:00

Nearby Essex Metro station was handy although we did use Uber a far bit. 07 July 2017 - 15:57:00

The property was clean and neat when we arrived. We enjoyed our stay here, though it was brief. Felt at home here. 03 September 2017 - 02:29:00

The apartment was fine for our party of four in relation to space and location. Close to subway, shops, cafes. It was a pity that the owner was not more customer friendly. We arrived late and she had not given us the apartment number. So we had to telephone her late at night. The following morning there was an issue with the front door key. We did not have one. We were requested to go to the hard wear store and get keys cut. Following a few telephone calls it was eventually agreed that the owners boyfriend would undertake this task. He proved to be more customer focussed and brought the keys to us whilst we had breakfast in a local cafe. We also reported a few issues to the owner, e.g. Blocked sink, need for bulbs to be replaced. These issues were not addressed during our stay, Overall we had a good holiday, despite the poor response of the owner in meeting our requests. 13 November 2015 - 00:19:00

The flat is freshly renovated, very nice comfortable, cosy and practical and with a lovely rooftop.Well decorated for the space. Accurate to pictures. The location is walking distance to nice restaurants and shops of lower east side. Public transportation is few blocks from apartment, which is really convenience to explore NYC. Everything was great, host very friendly. Our trip in NYC was perfect. I definitely recommend this place! 16 November 2014 - 17:14:21

We needed three bedrooms for three unrelated business associates. The apartment was perfect...enough privacy with a cozy kitchen/living room in the middle. No frills, but everything you need for a visit to New York. Great restaurants and coffee shops in the neighborhood. 02 July 2015 - 03:53:15

Four of my friends and I stayed in this apartment for an extended weekend. The space is very nice and had plenty of room for all of us. Walking distance to the subway and several restaurants and shops. We arrived early and were able to get checked in and start our vacation. The view from the roof is awesome! 03 July 2015 - 12:45:41

The apartment was very clean and newly renovated. Well equipped kitchen and convenient to a grocery store. The neighbors were quiet and polite. The roof top was a nice treat at sunset. 31 July 2015 - 22:48:37

6 of us stayed here for my 40th birthday for 3 nights. The apartment was clean, except for a few ants which we were given Raid for. The beds were comfortable, plenty of space, the bathrooms were roomy and very functional. We were never given any paper towel or extra toilet paper. We had to buy our own, we would have brought some from home, had we known. We brought food, paper plates and cups with us so we did not always have to use glass, especially because we ate breakfast on the rooftop in the mornings & had drinks in the evening. They rooftop had random chairs & a table up there, totally functional and beautiful views. It was near a bodega, 7-11 and Dunkin Doughtnuts & the subway(all within walking distance) There are many places to eat within walking distance. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. You park out front but MUST pay attention to the no standing signs which apparently means no parking as well. We got a ticket which we are disputing. We all were very pleased with this property! 10 September 2015 - 15:10:20

We enjoyed our stay, rooms were comfortable. Could use a few additions like wine glasses, ice trays, Would have been nice to have a few suggestions on where to shop, Essex street market is great. Living space is small but was still able to have 10 people for brunch. Was great that it had an handicap accessibility. Would use again 12 November 2015 - 17:08:16

This apartment was very nice for a group of 6 friends in NY for the weekend. It was comfortable and clean. The location was good. We used Uber to get around or walked to places in the city. Whole Foods wasn't too far away for groceries. My only suggestion would be to have either curtains or room darkening shades in the bedroom with the 3 windows. The light that filtered through kept us awake at night. But other than that, it was a nice place for all of us to stay! 14 November 2017 - 00:00:00

The next time we visit NYC we will be staying here again! Our family was very comfortable and happy during our time here! I wish our entire stay was at the apartment! We transferred from a hotel and next time we will stay the entire stay here! The accommodations were immaculate and more than enough space! We were traveling with two teens, two toddlers and two grandmas! We cooked, relaxed and WALKED to Chinatown for some amazing shopping and sight seeing! The grocery markets, stores and pubs were all within walking distance! We used a grocery delivery service that was awesome as well! I HIGHLY recommended this property for large groups! If was amazing and we will be back! The owner, Tatiana was so responsive and kind. Best experience thus far with VRBO!!!!! 28 November 2017 - 15:54:00

We enjoyed staying in the Lower East Side. Having 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was perfect for our family of 5 adults. Two of the bedrooms did face the street and we could occasionally hear noise from the street, but it wasn't too bad. 02 December 2017 - 04:48:00

The property was located just on the edge of the trendy Lower East Side. Though across from "public housing", which our cab driver warned us about, we never felt unsafe. The locals were friendly and helpful and there was a subway stop just a few blocks up. The beds were comfortable and the apartment had very basic items for cooking and eating with. We definately think this place gives you the NYC experience. The apartment had a true 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths which was a great find. We traveled to NYC with 4 adults, 1 teenager, and 4 kids under 10. The apartment handled a group our size fairly well but, would find it hardpressed to comfortably hold anything over 6 adults. The owner was incredibly responsive and excellent to interact with. Overall the apartment definately met our needs, was near enough to the subway and a trendy area, and the owner was good to deal with. The only thing that is negative is that the area, for some, may seem a slightly questionable to walk alone at night. I would say though, don't let first impressions of the area fool you....it's just fine. We would stay here again. 10 December 2017 - 12:51:00

Travelled to NYC with my husband and 3 daughters. The apartment we stayed in was not the one pictured, although it was fairly representative. It was a lot of apartment for the money and it was very clean and quiet. The subway was only a short walk away and we felt safe walking to and from the subway after dark. There is a liquor store 2 doors away that draws an interesting crowd, but no one bothered us as we passed by. 2 grocery stores are on the block also. Overall, no complaints and I would stay here again if I came to the city. 21 October 2017 - 16:21:00

This worked very well for us vs renting hotel rooms for 5. Three BR and 2 Full baths were just what we needed. Owner switched us from the advertised unit to this one at the last minute. We were told it was newer and more preferred and it did work just fine but I didn't like the last minute switch. Dishes were dirty when we got there and had to be washed. Also no toilet paper or soap so we had to go out the first night and purchase all this stuff. Did not care for the risque "art" including nudes - not appropriate with children. I would suggest more classical art. Two of the three bedrooms had no closet so we improvised. A lot of street construction made it a little loud but we weren't there much during the day. I did appreciate the location - only 2 blocks away from One World Observatory and building security 24 hours. Would rent from Tatiana again - she was very quick to respond and easy to work with. Even when she was called out of town on our check in day, she had someone else there waiting for us who was very nice and accommodating. Well worth the money. 23 September 2017 - 16:47:00

The Lower East Side of Manhattan has a unique way of introducing visitors to a genuine experience. Upon arrival to the three bedroom two bath apartment, I was greeted by the housekeeper who showed me the apartment and gave me the keys. The apartment was everything I was expecting from the description given. I arrived late afternoon and before the rest of the crew so as to get the apartment ready with groceries and essentials. I visited the local grocery, deli and pizza shops and introduced myself to my new neighbors. Everyone I met in the neighborhood from Willy at the Deli to DJ wrenching on his ride downstairs were welcoming and made me fell right at home. Despite the occasional street noise the city became home again and sleeping with it's rhythm comforting. The business of taking in the old sights, eats, etc. and discovering new ones started early the next morning after a homemade breakfast. The combination of local subways and UBER made the travel effortless. I got to tell ya, NYC needs to be seen from the street and I highly recommend Tatiana's digs. 11 May 2017 - 14:46:00
