With your own private entrance from the street, enjoy your time in London at this lovely garden flat which has 2 full double bedrooms and 2 full en suite bathrooms. There is a separate living room with large screen TV, cable and high speed WiFi. A hallway leads you down to the master bedroom with small terrace and further down to the open plan dining and kitchen area which is full stocked for 6 people. At the back of the flat is the second bedroom and en suite bathroom. The flat is on a quiet residential street, also located close to Chelsea & Wandsworth areas, and a stone's throw from Battersea Park which has a recreation centre, Children's Zoo, art gallery, various coffee and tea houses as well as a miniature golf course and boating lake. You would be a 20min walk to Sloane Square and the Kings Road with its exclusive shopping boutiques and a 25min walk to the Tate Britain art gallery. Your closest station is Battersea Park which is a direct line to Victoria Station for Buckingham Palace or you are a short distance from Queenstown Road station which takes you into Waterloo for the London Eye and Borough market! All bedding and towels are provided.

    Beautifully furnished, elegant home on the ground floor for our 5 days in London. We headed out each morning for an easy bus ride to Victoria Station and all London was at our fingertips !     This charming and cozy garden flat was great for our 5-night stay in London. Short walk to busses and trains into the city center, and easy access from Gatwick by Southern Rail with the Visitor Oyster Card. The flat has a nice layout with two twin beds and a bathroom on one end, and a larger master with bathroom on the other end, separated by the kitchen, which was well appointed and stocked with spices, cooking oils, tea/coffee, and a few staple grocery items. We felt very at home and comfortable with our two young children and a nanny. The laundry closet was a nice perk! Overall, our stay was wonderful, but there were a few small negatives. The wifi did not reach to the back bedroom, the couches are old and not as cozy as they look in the photos, and being a garden flat in an old building, there is a mild mustiness that we were easily able to mitigate by opening the windows.     Wie ein Urlaub bei Freunden. Es war alles vorhanden vom Duschgel bis zur Butter. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefhlt. Bushaltestelle in unmittelbarer Nhe, ebenso wie Supermarkt und Restaurants.     Nice appartment. Located at a quite place. Not really very close to diffrent attractions but that's not an issue because of great transportation system of London, a week pass for zone 1 and 2 was enough for us to visit just about any attrations.     Four of us stayed in this comfortable apartment, Lurline Gardens in Battersea Park. Plenty of room for all of us with 2 full bedrooms and baths, plus a nice living and dining room. Complete kitchen with all the equipment we needed to make brekfast and enjoy some take-away dinners. Good wifi and washer and dryer. The apartment is just as you see it in the pictures on line. We had a thorough orientation when we arrived, complete written instructions, plus the manager was available via email and phone. Short walk to a big grocery store and the overground railroad. One of us is disabled so we took a lot of cabs and the rides into central London were generally brief and affordable. Less than an hour to Heathrow.     My family of five enjoyed a wonderful stay at this lovely apartment. It was sunny, spacious and well appointed and even had basics for cooking and eating. Wonderful neighborhood and very close to public transportation and a fantastic park - highly recommended!     We enjoyed our stay at this garden-level flat. It was clean and roomy, and had everything we needed to fix the occasional meal. Having a few basics there when we arrived was very much appreciated. The bus stop to get the Vauxhall tube station was just down the block. It only took 15-20 minutes to get anywhere we wanted to go in the city. The weather was unusually warm when we visited London but the flat stayed cool and comfortable.     Spent a lovely 4 nights in a wonderful quirky flat. It had everything we needed and more. Coffee machine was great. What a location the park just a few minutes away and an excellent train service to central London(2 train stations) which were quick and frequent.     Absolutely everyone we dealt with in booking this flat was wonderful and bent over backwards to make our stay enjoyable. Hannah was a pleasure. Jenny who checked us in (late due to a delayed flight) was kind and courteous and very accommodating. All questions were answered promptly when we were at the flat. The apartment is well laid out. There is a double bedroom at the back , perfect for kids with its own bathroom. The other larger Queen room near the front has a lovely large washroom also.By North American standards this is a basement flat, (below sidewalk level) however there are two large dug out courtyards , one off the kitchen, one off the main bedroom that allow light to flood in and make it feel like a ground level flat. LOVED coming back to the flat in the winter and lighting the fire and putting up our feet. The kitchen is fully stocked. Getting a bus to the centre of town was very easy .     The owner was very kind and helpful. The property is well maintained and fit for a family. We had our three children with us during this stay and we all loved the nearby Batersea part with kids playgrounds and lake.     My wife, three kids and I arrived after a rather long flight and were met by the very nice and vivacious Eva. She showed us around the apartment which was really clean and spacious, she also gave us a lot of tips. Kitchen was well stocked and there were lots of books which I enjoyed reading at night after returning from a day on the town. The neighborhood is quiet and safe with a lot of shops including a Tesco metro for groceries. Wifi is excellent in the sitting room, the master bedroom and down to the dining area but a bit patchy in the second bedroom. It was super easy to communicate with Hannah, the owner on email before arrival and on phone during our stay. She immediately resolved the only minor issue we had with the boiler (it was actually a non-issue).     My 8 year old daughter and I visited from the US recently and we could not have been more pleased. This apartment was outstanding in virtually all key aspects from our standpoint - super clean, very comfortable beds, hot water, and extremely well located vis-a-vis the bus stops, a supermarket, the park and other amenities. From a value standpoint, we got our money's worth and more! We were surprised how large the apartment felt compared to the pictures. There's a long hallway that runs the length of the building; all the rooms open to the right. First the sitting area/tv room, then the first bedroom, followed by the kitchen and dining area, and finally the back bedroom. Furnishings were cozy. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking pots, pans, plates, etc., plus things like salt, olive oil, and other items. Bathrooms were stocked with toilet paper, soap, shampoo, etc. Towels were adequate. Bathroom systems were all good - hot water, great water pressure, etc. The nearby Battersea park was beautiful - we visited it 3 times during our stay and was wonderful. The transport was great - you could walk to the bus stop in 3 minutes and I don't think we waited more than 5 minutes for a bus - usually it was much less. You could be at Victoria station in 10-15 minutes - or connect to another bus (or Tube) and be in the Theatre District in another 10-15 minutes (we took a bus - you could probably get there quicker on the tube). All in all, this apartment was an outstanding value. A couple of recommendations would be to improve the internet speed - it was more than adequate for email, etc. but struggled with streaming video. Not a showstopper by any means. There are a few cosmetic "fixes" that could be addressed - chipped paint in some corners - but nothing that took away from the overall experience. The manager Hannah was very accommodating on our checkout day - allowing us to store our large checked luggage in the apartment beyond the checkout time - so that we could have one more morning on the town before leaving at 1:30pm to LHR to head home on a late afternoon flight. In total, this apartment was a great find. Thanks to all the previous reviewers and to the owner/manager for their help.
