We chose this property because of the location, subway connection, and reviews. And sure enough, the reviews were right on! Two couples shared this 2-bedroom property and were totally satisfied with the quality and value of the stay. We had great connections to the U.S. Open and Manhattan, even took the LIRR out on the island. Clean, comfortable, good neighborhood. Thanks, thanks, thanks! We'll surely be coming back to this property. Downstairs tenants say they've been coming to stay here for the U.S. Open for 9 years. 07 September 2017 - 13:33:00

First time user of vrbo so wasn't sure what to expect, but this was a great experience. Its a house that is split into an upper and lower apt. We stayed in the upper apt. Owner got in contact with us ahead of time to help make our stay smooth.and also stayed in touch with us throughout the trip. He even called and.messaged us when we were late checking in ( flight delay). Owner went above and beyond to help us with parking arrangements. We had 2 small kids with us and the 2 bedrooms were very comfortable for them. Definity would recommend to stay here. 20 September 2017 - 00:40:00
  4. We have always loved visiting the big apple ! Unfortunately, over the years it seems to have gotten much more expensive to travel considering the rising airfares; hotel and food expenses. Last month, we had to attend a family wedding in Long Island and since we were flying in at LGA, we were searching for a reasonable place that would allow us easy access to and from airport; close toLong Island and more importantly, within a short subway ride to the city. This place fit the bill but we were a bit apprehensive since we did not find any reviews. So we reached out to the owner, who sounded very friendly and helpful. That was a bit reassuring but we were still nervous. Anyway, as we did not have too much time and options we decided to go for it and it turned out to be a very smart and wise decision for us !!!. The place exceeded all our expectations. Perfect location, Simple yet tastefully furnished rooms.Very clean. Everything was new. The place had a newly renovated feel to it. For the same amount that we would have incurred for a night in one of the midtown places, we ended up staying for well over a week. One caveat. It has one bathroom, and so we would not recommend for larger groups.Strongly recommended for families with young children; or young couples looking to explore NYC on a budget. 10 May 2012 - 03:52:10

I enjoyed my stay very much, it was last minute check-in and owner was very flexible and accommodating when I requested to check in asap. When I arrived owner showed me around the apartment and asked me to call him anytime, if i needed anything. The beds were comfy, and the the large flat screen was quite entertaining.:) The place was exactly how it was shown in pics on listing. Clean and extremely comfortable. I will definitely stay again! thanks so much. sasha new york, ny 13 June 2012 - 02:50:07

Very nice place to stay if you need 2 bedrooms. Very clean, updated rooms, nice flat screen TV w/cable. Full kitchen, clean bathroom with good working shower in tub. Price was excellent for this extended stay. Very close to the F train into Manhattan, several food stores, restaurants, and bars close by. Will stay again, next time to New York. 19 July 2012 - 00:49:16
  7. Great place to stay if you prefer the home touch on your vacation rather than cramped central hotel rooms. We spent 4 nights here on a short break to New York and didn't fancy paying city centre prices. This apartment is one of two in a freestanding house just a few minutes walk from 179th street on the 'F' line. It is virtually brand new so very clean with nice carpets/tiling, very comfortable beds, huge flat screen TV with heaps of channels. Also, very cozy with heating in each room. Excellent communication from initial query right through to return of deposit. No problems checking in or out. Exactly what you want from a rental in this great city. 19 October 2012 - 03:34:09

Having just returned from a week long holiday to New York City....all I can say is I cannot wait to return. I chose the above property for my daughter and I because of previous reviews by other people. True to their word everything they wrote was true. From the time of contact about the rental, the owner answered any questions or worries I may have had (even trhough Hurricane Sandy!!). The Condo is situated in Queens and is close to all local amenities and subway (20min ride into Rockerfeller Centre). Having never been away without my husband before and two women in a strange city, I obviously felt very apprehensive...but had no need. The Condo was beautifully refurbished and had everything required for our stay (except a corkscrew!!). It was an ideal base to go sight seeing/shopping etc, and somewhere to retreat to from the massive hustle and bustle of Times Square. The owner met us at the house on arrival and showed us around and explained the area. We could call on him at anytime although this was not needed. We didnt actually eat locally as we spent approx 12hrs a day in the city, but there are lots of fast food places close to the Condo. I am looking to rent this apartment again next year and also recommend it to a friend who is wanting to take his wife to NYC. Excellent holiday base and excellent value compared to hotel room. 20 December 2012 - 02:15:01

This was our 1st time using VRBO and we will definately do so again in the future. Everything went very smoothly. As advertised the property is close to many stores and very close to subway making it very easy to get around. The property manager was great. He called right away to make sure we found everything we needed or had questions. There was a leak under the kitchen sink the 1st evening and he had plumbers there 1st thing the next morning before breakfast and repairs were quickly made. The apartment was very clean and neat with everything on hand we needed. If ever planning a trip again to NYC would definately consider this and have no reservation recommending this rental to others interested. 29 May 2013 - 15:09:19

We (a family of four) stayed in this apartment for a week in June. My experience was very positive dealing with the property manager who answered all my questions prior to my visit - I found him very helpful. The apartment was very clean - as promised by the property manager. It was also very close to the subway station which made it very convenient for us to commute to anywhere we wanted to go. We arrived late at night from JFK but getting into the apartment was no problem. The property manager met us next morning in the apartment. He was caring enough to ask us if we needed any help and if we were happy with the apartment yet he was professsinal enough to leave us alone when I told him that I knew the area well and that I was happy with the apartment. He met us again on the day that we left at my request. There was enough pots and pans in the kitchen if I wanted to cook. Enough sheets and towels were provided for us by the manager. The property manager was very thoughtful in providing some extra supplies for my family. The beds were very clean and comfortable. There was a coin laundry at the back of the property. Over all, my experience was quite positive. There was a small problem in the bathroom but the property manager promised to fix this soon after we left. He was kind enough to call a cab for us on the day that we left. Initially, I chose this property as it was located very close to the area where I lived years ago however, I am glad that I chose this place. I would recommend this property and dealing with this property manager without any hesitation. 28 June 2013 - 18:07:46

This was our 1st time in the big apple, family of seven-5kids so naturally we were concerned about safety, location and accommodations ,the location was amazing, Right next to tons of super markets & restaurants less then 1min away from subway so transportation was never an issue, the place was beautiful, truly a home away from home feel ,and Quaizar was extremely helpful he went over and beyond to make sure that we was comfortable ,me and the wife will be coming back to NYC in January for or anniversary this time without the kids in we once again will be staying with Quaizar .we loved it.I strongly recommend to anyone visiting New York 14 July 2013 - 21:01:03

Place was great for my wife and I plus out two teenage boys. Host was very friendly and met us at check-in. There are 2 bedrooms, but no eating/sitting area in the kitchen. We were there during a heatwave in July although the kitchen & bathroom were hot the air conditioners in the bedrooms kept them quite comfortable. House (upper floor) is half a block from the subway entrance, it was about 30 minutes to downtown Manhattan via the subway (F train), it doesn't stop at times square, but does go to Rockefeller Centre which is just a short walk to Times Square. For those planning on not getting a car it's quite easy to get to this residence from JFK, you take the airtram from JFK (cost is $5.00 payable when you leave the station) and get take the E train subway 3 stops and transfer to the F train and another 3 stops you are there! One tip, we bought the 1 week metro pass for $30.00 which is well worth it you are going into New York each day. 31 July 2013 - 02:21:01

It was a great trip to NY with the family. We wanted to stay in Queens and close to Jamaica area. Our host Quazier was awesome in coordinating the booking to accommodating all our requests. The place was clean and it was a perfect location to get around by subway and bus. Would love to stay there again. 01 August 2014 - 19:15:03

The apartment was very clean and nice, very close to subway and restaurants. Quaizar was always there to answer my calls if I needed anything. The only problem was finding parking if you rent a car. I would definitely recommend stating here and I would definitely rent this property again. Very nice neighborhood. 27 September 2014 - 00:30:00

Very nice place, exactly as in the pictures, 1 block from the subway - which takes you approx. 30 minutes to downtown, and close to a food market less than 0,2 miles walking. Mr Quaizar is very very gentle and nice, providing us tips and recommendations - great host. Came by to welcome and departure and put himself available for any support needed. Made the difference. 20 October 2014 - 14:23:00

Quaizar did a great job communicating with us, he gave us directions for the bus from the airport. Location to subway and commercial street was excellent. Travel to Manhattan was a little far/long if you did not catch the express train. Apartment was very clean, really no main area and no place to sit in the kitchen. Even though there was enough bed space for 5 we were charged additional $ per day, so our total was around $250.00 per day. Queens was really cool we liked seeing another part of NY not so filled with tourists. Overall good experience. 09 November 2014 - 16:45:01

We came to Queens to drop my daughter off at St. John's University. We needed something clean, safe, close to school and public transportation. This property fit the bill perfectly. Quazier is SO sweet. He was very accommodating and helpful, and responds almost immediately to texts. Several good food options within walking distance, including a great deli. Subway just at the end of the street. One mile to school, we walked a few times, and it's about an $8 UBER ride. We will surely be staying with Quazier again in the future! :) 08 September 2015 - 15:36:42
  20. We flew into New York for a quick trip on our way to Europe. We wanted a convenient place that would allow us to visit Manhattan. This place worked out perfectly. Location: The apartment is located about half a block from the subway. The train there takes you right into the heart of Manhattan. We found it very convenient to be able to get into Manhattan within 40 minutes. Almost anything we needed was within walking distance. The apartment: The apartment was beautiful. It ha a very modern look to it. The full functioning kitchen was great. I am sure we could have made some very nice meals, if we hadn't been out majority of the time. There were TVs in all the bedrooms with cable. The laundry room is downstairs. It is a pay laundry: $1.50 to wash and $1.00 to dry. It needs quarters The owner was wonderful. He kept in constant communication throughout our stay. I highly recommend this place. 08 January 2017 - 21:15:10
