I stayed in this lovely apartment with my 16 year old daughter and it was delightful! The stairs were a challenge, especially after going up the hill, but we were determined and felt very strong when we made it up the stairs each night! By day 3, we were could make it without stopping! The apartment was wonderful. Comfortable, fully stocked with what you need, great location and I cannot wait to go back and visit my Paris apartment! I would suggest a couple of things... It would be very helpful if there were instructions on the room about opening the storage behind the bed. We only knew of it from a friend who stayed there a couple of weeks before we did. Also, some notes on how to work the TV would have been really nice. It took us about 20 minutes, but we finally got it going. And if the closet could have at least a shelf or two for putting your own clothes away and the vacuum cleaner put somewhere else so that you can use the hanging part of the closet. But those are all little things, far from ruining our time!! Just some suggestions to make it better for the next guest. The bed was cozy, the kitchen modern and roomy, the bathroom sufficient and the place was clean and tidy. I wish I was there now!! Thanks for everything! 09 May 2013 - 03:36:07

My husband and I have never booked a place by an owner. We've been to Paris before and we always stay at a hotel. We came across this apartment and decided to give it a try based on the excellent reviews. We had a great experience and LOVED the place and the neighborhood. Everything was as advertised and the property manager was available to help us with all questions we had. The 5th arrondissement is a lively and young area and we loved the energy! The place is very comfortable and we did not have any noise issues whatsoever. We will definitely plan to come back. 27 May 2013 - 06:02:05

My wife and two daughters came stayed in June. We had a great time in this apartment. It had everything we needed and is very well located. We were walking to all the major sites in Paris and used the metro rarely. The property manager was super responsive. We will definitely plan to come back. 17 August 2013 - 22:28:42

I spent a week in this wonderful studio and wished I had more time. The manager was extremely helpful and very nice to work with. There is a grocery store just a few doors down from the studio and many restaurants and bars nearby. (A great pub is just up the street) Easy walking distance to Jardin du Luxembourg and many other great places. The Metro is 2 blocks away with easy access to train stations and airports. The studio was very clean and has everything you would need. 13 November 2013 - 02:11:43

My wife and two kids came to Paris for a week stay. We really like the Latin Quarter and could not have found a better place to stay. Sarah is very attentive to the details and the local property manager is super responsive. The apartment is in great condition and very comfortable for our family. We had a typical parisian experience and were very happy to discover this place. We definitely will plan to come back again. 27 December 2013 - 20:59:00

I stayed at this studio for a week in November and loved it. The location is fantastic - 5 min walk to the metro, right in the heart of the Latin Quarter. The studio is clean and well-equiped with everything you might need. Dealing with the manager was very easy before my trip and when I was in Paris and accidently blew a fuse in the apartment, the local manager was very responsive and helpful. It was nice to have the key before I arrived so I could just show up and have access and there is lots of information once you get into the apartment on local attractions, how to navigate the area, etc. The bed was very comfortable and the internet radio and the sound machine were a nice touch. The studio isn't huge so it is ideal for 1-2 people but more than that and it might start to get a little cramped. The only downside was the neighbors across the hall with noisy children. When they were at school or after they went to bed if was fine but if the kids were at home the place definitely got a little noisy. Not a huge deal because I was out exploring the city but if you are extremely sensitive to noise, this might not be the best option. All in all I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again. 27 December 2013 - 06:32:43

This was the perfect apartment for our 4 girlfriends getaway. We had a great time in Paris and enjoyed a comfortable stay in this well maintained apartment. It was cozy but it was perfect for us and at a great price. Paris: we'll be back! 27 December 2013 - 21:06:06

We stayed here during our Christmas holiday and really enjoyed it. The bunk beds were a hit with the boys as well as the PS3 (lots of movies saved onto the console too), no problems with the WiFi, very clean & upkept, like new dishes, and plenty of hot water for showers! The apartment was just a few blocks from the Cathedral of Notre Dame, easily walkable. The only hiccup we had was on our first night when we couldn't find blankets and sheets for the bunk bed but Sarah, the owner was very prompt with our questions and concerns and it was resolved the next morning. A helpful tip if you are staying here is that the blankets are behind the queen bed panel. Most hotels were over 200 Euro at this time, our stay here at the apartment was a lot less than that and more private and better quality anyway. It was a great choice. I would definetely stay here again. 27 December 2013 - 14:19:25

My fiancee surprised me with a trip to Paris in February. It was right after valentine's day but we had an amazing stay. Everything was as advertised and communication with everyone was great from day 1. We enjoyed being so close to the heart of Paris and all the monuments. There are some great restaurants nearby. My favourites are the couple of italian places on rue les ecoles. Will come back again. Thank you Sarah. 12 July 2014 - 16:10:41

This place was chosen by my 7 year old among all flats; I am glad we took her advice. First of all the location is perfect; very central, close to the metro, many shops and restaurants. The flat itself is great, has everything one needs on a holiday. Most importantly the service of the owner was very professional and attentive. I highly recommend it 15 July 2014 - 00:55:23

Great apartment, 5 minute walk from train station, fun area with some lively bars and restaurants on your door step, brilliant info on entering apartment, local site seeing and amenities. Thanks so much for a great weekend! 29 September 2015 - 10:56:53

Location, bedroom, kitchen were good. Shower was bit too cumbersome. Not enough space to move. Washing machine very very slow and complicated (no manual provided). Apartment is located above a popular bar and hence on Thu, Fri and Sat very noisy. One can cope with the noise using ear plugs. Staircase (up to 4th floor) can be a problem for people with knee or back issues. 14 October 2015 - 02:58:33

Fabulous stay at the heart of the latin quarter. The place was authentic but modern and updated. We really enjoyed it and Sarah was very helpful with the communication. 15 October 2015 - 18:14:24

Check in and obtaining keys from boxes were clearly described and relatively easy to do as per property manager instructions. Room is well constructed. I must admit, and even though I read about it, the 4 floor climb can be a be a bit of slog at night after lots of sightseeing so you must prepare yourself. The shower is a bit compact but my only issue there was I found the drainage to be slow. But it did drain and so not blocked. Just need to get used it. As one reviewer mentioned this is way better than a hotel room and I agree wholeheartedly. You will enjoy get your daily exercise up the stairs too :). Really great location. If you close the windows you won't hear (or barely) some of the night noises from the bar down the street, It got a bit noisy from the joy of France winning the semi final game on July 7th. But really it was not bothersome at all! LOVE Paris .. 11 July 2016 - 18:24:28

The location is both a blessing and a curse. We loved being able to walk so easily to all the major latin quarter sites, and the studio, itself, is very charming and well equipped. BUT, the studio is also located right above two very loud English speaking bars. On one night, the noise did not stop until 4am. Even with the windows closed, it was quite annoying. So, if you are a light sleeper, this might not be the place for you. If you don't mind the noise, then the charm and the location might make up for it. 28 August 2011 - 04:55:20
