It's all true: the ad, the photos, the reviews. My daughter and I stayed here for 9 nights. We wanted to experience Paris by having an apartment to temporarily call home. Wow! It made our trip even better than we could have hoped. It was so comfortable and convenient. Florence is professional and gracious. She really anticipates what her guests may need and provides it. Florence has raised the bar for all my future rentals through VRBO. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay in Suite Florence for your time in Paris. 04 April 2013 - 01:29:53

Located perfectly for seeing Paris. Neighborhood provides easy access to grocery store, boulangeries, cheese, restaurants. Very quiet, peaceful setting. Florence was very helpful and friendly. We would stay here again. 08 May 2013 - 00:02:48

We spent 4 night in this apartment and it was perfect for my husband and I. Nice little kitchenette, big bathroom, and a cute little patio to enjoy a glass of wine. Quiet little street, but so close to everything. We walked everywhere. We really enjoyed our stay here. Florence was so nice and very helpful. If we return to Paris, we will surely rent this apartment again. 18 November 2013 - 17:40:46

the apartment was perfect in every respect. very well situated. the bed was very comfortable and the place was quiet - a good nite rest so important after a day of roaming the city. the apartment itself in exquisite taste and very practical - like being at home. all the amenities in excellent shape and the balcony overlooking the park perfect for an at home meal and very romantic. the books in the huge library both interesting and beautiful to browse thru. florence is a charming host with an eye for details that make the difference. her proximity gave us a sense of security. 17 November 2013 - 20:14:15

I have to begin by saying that I do believe this apartment has the best bathroom in an affordable accommodation in Paris. It was unbelievable to have a big modern deep bathtub (and I made good use of it) in addition to a totally modern tiled shower in a big gorgeous skylight lit room. Next best thing about this apartment is the sweet balcony that overlooks the Roman Arena instead of a busy street with traffic. We enjoyed our espresso (yes, there is an espresso machine) or wine and cheese on the balcony with the sounds of happy children filtering up thru the trees. Other good things about the apartment: great location (lots of food shops and 2 markets nearby as well as 2 metro stations), wonderful books to browse, comfy bed with luxurious linens, very lovely owner who lives in the building. Really the only thing I can find to complain about is the kitchen would not work for someone who wanted to cook real meals---it is too small, but perfectly adequate for continental breakfast or a small snack with your aperitif. We definitely consider this our new home in Paris. 17 November 2013 - 16:07:52

Florence has thought of everything in this artful, light-filled and charming studio flat. She left us a bottle of wine, coffee and delicious food in the fridge - which was very kind. The room is lovely with it's view of green treetops, wall of books and a sweet little flower-filled balcony. There are a few low ceilings in the spacious bathroom - but it was no problem for my tall husband. We did lots of laundry - things dried fine hanging them overnight. There's a wonderful bakery just down the street and you can walk or take the Metro to anything you want to see. But we spent a lot of time just resting in the room because it was so pleasant. 17 November 2013 - 20:29:43

I was looking for an apt in the Latin Quarter and found this perfect place! On a previous trip, we stayed in a hotel and wanted the better experience of living like a local. I personally, like the Latin Quarter because it's more of a genuine experience than the more touristy areas, but it really depends upon your goals and preferences for your visit to Paris. Suite Florence is cozy, clean and comfortable. It's perfectly located next to 2 great boulangeries (the street is even called rue des boulangers! :-) ), there is a good-sized grocery store (Carrefours) and 2 Metro Stops. Loved hearing the locals hanging out in the Arenes de Lutece next door and there is another little park nearby. It was really nice to stroll through the neighborhood on our way out in the mornings to sightsee in Paris and then on our way back in the evenings. The entire apt was clean and the bathroom was so roomy. Loved the large tub for a relaxing soak at the end of the day. Liked the convenience of the Nespresso coffee machine and the coffee tasted good considering it was instant. (at home, I am used to grinding own beans) It was nice to be able to make a quick meal and have the use of a washing machine. Also, loved all the windows--lots of light. Loved staying here and look forward to staying again in the future. Hopefully, the near future! 17 November 2013 - 21:16:36

We highly recommend this lovely, unique apartment. From the room you look out over a wonderful neighborhood park. We chose the property for the adorable little balcony, and were not disappointed. The view from the window is green trees, but you are mere steps away from the metro. The only noise is from people playing in the park (not a bad sound!). The apartment was clean and very comfortable. The owner's son was extremely helpful. When we return to Paris, this will be our first choice of place to stay. 20 November 2013 - 00:21:21

This is a very nice super clean well equipped apartment in a great location, especially enjoyed the tasty items provide for some sunny morning breakfast on the porch - nice view. It is on a quiet street but just blocks away from the many restaurants, shops and bars in the Latin Quarter. It is also convenient to the train, river and the sights around Notre Dame. Would not think of staying anywhere else. 20 November 2013 - 19:47:40
  10. We enjoy staying the the Latin Quarter but closer to Blvd. St. Michel but because the area is changing - not for the better - we wanted to stay a little further away. This was a great location. A metro stop is just down the street and because we had just arrived from Belgium we loved having a Belgium beer store right around the corner. We picked our favorite cafe for breakfast and went about discovering more of Paris. The apartment is a good size for Paris and has a washing machine that is a must for us. I would recommend this apartment for it's location, quiet area, balcony and friendliness of the owner. We even shard a glass of wine with her one afternoon. The elevator was not working so elderly people might want to consider something on a lower floor. 02 December 2013 - 19:04:59

We stayed at Suite Florence for a week in Sept. 2013 and have nothing but positive comments about our stay. The apartment is perfect for two people. It is very clean and looks exactly as pictured. The location was perfect for us. 3 minute walk to Cardinal Lemoine or Jussieu Metro. Excellent bakery just down the street and we made Cafe St. Victor on Rue Monge our local go to spot. Excellent service and very friendly. It is an easy walk to Notre Dame, 15 min, and Ile St. Louis. Would also recommend taking a walk up Rue du Cardinal Lemoine to Rue Mouffetard. Great markets, shops and Cafes. Florence, the owner, lives next door. She is very kind and helpful and made us feel at home. We highly recommend Suite Florence and would not hesitate staying here again. 01 January 2014 - 18:34:15

We stayed here for only two nights, but had a wonderful time. The location is great, with restaurants, bakeries and a grocery store in the neighborhood. Easy walking distance to Notre Dame and the latin quarter. 2 minute walk to the Metro. The owner was thoughtful, courteous, accommodating, and available if needed. Coffee, tea, milk and other essentials were high quality and pre stalked. All in all we had a lovely stay and wished we could have stayed longer. The room accommodated 2 kids and 1 adult, but would have been more comfortable for only 2. 04 April 2014 - 13:25:00

This was our first time using VRBO, and after this experience, I can't imagine using a hotel again for this type of trip. From my first inquiry to our arrival and departure, Florence was always quick to respond and meet our needs and the apartment was everything advertised. The location of the apartment is fantastic! As other reviewers mentioned, Notre Dame is a 10-15 minute walk away. It is also conveniently located between 2 metro stops, and near tons of cafes and shopping. We enjoyed espresso every morning from our kitchenette area, and the view from the balcony was serene. At night, it was hard to believe we were at the heart of a bustling city because it was so peaceful and quiet. The bed was super cozy and comfortable which is important after doing all the walking we did each day. Florence also had some Paris guidebooks and French-English translation/phrase books that we made use of since we arrived a little less than prepared in that department. We were also able to do a load of laundry while there, which was definitely helpful. The only other thing I would want to mention to travelers is that the internet connection was slow and a little unpredictable, at least compared to what we are used to with high speed connections at home in the US. But let's face it. You're in one of the most amazing cities in the world, so really, who needs internet anyway! :) 27 June 2014 - 21:54:28

Perfect. The apartment was just as the pictures portray it. It was light and attractive and everything was in good condition. This studio is in a fine neighborhood; close to everything and bakeries, restaurants and nightlife. The large bath with a shower and huge tub was wonderful. The morning coffee was great and a fridge for milk and juice. The balcony was a real bonus and it overlooks a nice leafy area. The elevator works very well and seems quite new. No Internet problems. Florence, the owner, was most gracious. She was very kind and helpful. 22 July 2014 - 10:36:54

If you ask the locals, they will tell you the Latin Quarter is the best location to stay in Paris. Suite Florence is certainly in a great spot in the Lating Quarter. A small, quiet side-street right off of two much busier streets filled with cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores. You can easily walk to Notre Dame, the Louvre, Ille Saint-Louis, etc. If you don't feel like walking, at the end of each street you have a subway station. Additionally, you have a bike stand ON your street 50 yards from the apartment, so you can jump on a bike and ride anywhere in the city using the easy Velib biking system for 8 euros per week. The owner Florence is also very easy to deal with. Making the reservation was smooth, and she lives next door in case you need anything. Leaving the refrigerator stocked full upon our arrival was very much appreciated! There is a reason ALL of her reviews are 5 stars. Book at Suite Florence and you will not regret it! 25 September 2014 - 23:04:02

My husband and I stayed in the idyllic little apartment a year ago now. We constantly think fondly on the perfect few weeks that we stayed here. The room is spacious, light filtering in the large windows in the daytime with beautiful views of a quiet, lush park. The kitchenette is wonderful for a light breakfast or a late night snack of wine and baguettes, and one wall of the apartment is lined with French literature. An easy walk to a variety of boulangeries, cafes, and the metro, this locale was the ideal location to explore the city daily, whether on foot, bicycle, or train. The owner is a wonderful person, if home she will invite you in for a glass of wine and give you advice on lesser-known Parisian hangouts to visit, speaking to you in excellent English. We could not have been more pleased with this apartment and would jump at the chance to visit Paris again and stay in this pleasing, comfortable studio. 02 January 2015 - 23:58:28

We stayed at Suite Florence for 10 days in July. Although the weather was hot, the apartment was breezy and comfortable. The location is perfect - nestled between two Metro stops, with charming shops, cafes and an amazing open market only steps away. The little balcony was delightful for relaxing with a glass of wine and the small refrigerator was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for our petit dejeuner. The bathroom was spacious and having a washer was great. This is a great place to stay and experience everything that Paris has to offer!! 01 August 2015 - 00:20:03

We stayed here for 3 days in August. Can only agree with what others have said regarding comfort and location of this pretty studio apartment. We did not meet Florence as she was away on holidays, but she kindly left the little fridge stocked with all we needed for petite dejeuner on the balcony. She was very easy to deal with via email, and arranged for a friend to meet us on arrival. The lift was a small triangular shape (room for one person, one suitcase) but we were very grateful for it! We would certainly stay here again, and highly recommend Suite Florence. 25 October 2015 - 02:26:40

This is a great apartment. The pictures really show exactly what you can expect. The apartment was the perfect size for our 9 day stay. We were very comfortable. I agree with all of the other great reviews. Everything was clean and in perfect working order. Most things have been mentioned. I can add 2 things - I love the adjustable height shower. The water pressure was fabulous. I really appreciated the Nespresso coffee maker which made delicious coffee. Florence is a perfect hostess. She helped me with travel questions and gave great advice before our arrival and during our stay. She met us when we arrived and helped with the bags. She explained everything that we needed and told us to let her know if we needed anything else. The location is great: quiet neighborhood, 15 min walk to Notre Dame, short walk to Rue Mouffetard, 2 min walk to 2 subways. If you walk up the hill towards Cardinal Lemoine metro stop, there is a bakery with great baguettes less than 1 Euro. Just across Rue Monge from the bakery is the Carrefour Market (grocery). If you go the other way in the direction of the Jussieu metro stop, there is a Carrefour Express Market (small grocery with just the essentials) I highly recommend this apartment and we will definitely stay here again when we return. 30 March 2016 - 01:40:21

This apartment was everything I had hoped for. It is located on a quiet side street with access to a metro at each end. Numerous shops, marche in the area. Roman arna can be seen from outdoor space. There is a 10 min walk to Notre Dame and tourist areas. I plan to be a regular visitor to this marvelous apartment. 03 January 2017 - 13:23:05
