Location was 100%. Although indicated on website, curtains were not in place in all rooms. There were no hooks/towel rails in bathroom. Toilet brush was broken. No instructions for TV were in place or explained. Difficulty with entrance key necessitated our calling locksmith on one ocassion to allow us entry. As Australians and rental property owners my friend and I are used to a higher standard of cleaning. As an added positive, our host was extremely helpful with our luggage, our airport/train transfers and at all times was prompt in replying to our enquiries. 28 April 2015 - 06:56:18

Great location, close to everything. Alexandre was an excellent host - including connecting us with a driver to transport us to/from the airport (the driver even took us by Sacre Coeur for one last look on the way back home!). And when a jacket was left behind, Alexandre mailed it home to the U.S. Thank you, Alexandre! 11 June 2015 - 12:18:59

This apartment was perfect for our family of five with kids ages 15, 12, and 11. The location can't be beat. 10 minutes by foot to Notre Dame, less than 5 minutes to the metro, and just a few minutes more on foot to the Louvre. Restaurants, cafes, shopping and a super market just outside the door, with Starbucks right across the street. Alexandre met us at the door and was very helpful in getting us get settled. He also made check in and check out extremely easy. The apartment has all of the modern conveniences (washer/dryer, dishwasher, oven, stove, microwave, etc.) and is clean and comfortable (in fact, beds are very comfortable). With an apartment like this in such a great location, a person or family can make Paris as expensive as they want it to be. You can eat out every meal or just as easily pick up your own food and eat in. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone planning a long or short term stay in Paris. 19 July 2015 - 13:50:13

Our stay in Paris coincided with a heatwave, and while there was no air-conditioning Alexandre had left out some fans which worked fine. The location is definitely the key selling point of this apartment. It is central to most tourist locations, and it allowed us to wander the street of Paris with little need for public transport. A definite plus! Overall, it is a lovely apartment, in a lovely area and we would not hesitate to return. Thank you again Alexandre for a wonderful stay. 22 July 2015 - 03:47:51

Our stay was wonderful. We were four people so the two bedroom, one bathroom apartment was perfect. It was clean, had large windows and plenty of space. The kitchen had an oven, a washer/dryer, dishwasher, coffee maker and even electrical converters and adapters. The location cannot be beat. It was just two blocks from the Odeon and St. Michel metro stations, had great shopping nearby as well as great restaurants. It is a three flight walk up which really wasn't so bad. There is no air-conditioning but the weather was good and it was quite comfortable with the windows opened. I would definitely stay there again. 08 August 2015 - 13:58:06

Alexandre was a great host. He met us when we arrived and provided everything we needed during our stay in Paris. The apartment is in a great neighborhood and is walking distance to many "must-see" sights. There are several metro stations nearby as well. We were a family of four and there was plenty of room for all of us. Wifi worked great. The apartment was clean and comfortable which was very important after long days of walking and sightseeing. We highly recommend this property. Thank you Alexandre for your hospitality. 07 June 2016 - 01:07:59

My husband, son and myself enjoyed our visit to Paris and were very comfortable in this apartment. The location of the apartment is in a very vibrant and exciting part of Paris. The apartment was very spacious, the beds were comfortable and it was very clean. We liked the fact that we could walk to most places from the apartment. Public transportation and taxis were also easily accessible. We would definitely stay here again! 12 September 2016 - 18:15:42

The apartment was In a great location. Close to a busy pedestrian street with restaurants and good bakeries. Walking distance to the metro was handy. The apartment is big and spacious and fit three of us perfectly. As other have mentioned it could use a bit of a touch up,( new paint and towels) which is very minor but would make it a lot better, and the noise coming from the street at night is loud. Usually till 2 in the morning for most of the week. The back bedroom was more sheltered from the noise, but the front bedroom was loud so not great for light sleepers. But I guess that is the price you pay to be right in the action which this apartment is. Eric Kayser is couple steps away as is Paul. So easy for morning croissant. 31 October 2016 - 15:22:10

We stayed in the apartment with 4 people visiting a fair, so we had to work long hours. The location was very convenient for us, and we slept well. Kitchen and shower were very good and usefull for us. There was enough space for all of us and everything worked well including wifi. 11 November 2017 - 09:01:00

We loved the apartment and neighborhood. It was close the Saint-Michel subway station. From there we were able to quickly get where we wanted to go. Most of the time without having to switch subways. We loved the local shops and restaurants. There was a grocery store across the street, pharmacy down the street and several eateries and restaurants. We were able to pickup supper and breakfast on our way from the subway station to the apartment. Since this was our first time travelling outside of the US, we were surprised to find that the beds had what we considered a top sheet-comforter. This is a lot warmer that a single top sheet. There were a couple of fans in the apartment, but it was still warm at night. The one thing that we did not like was the circular wood staircase. We had to be careful not to slip down the stairs. 09 June 2017 - 03:05:00

This rental is a great size, well priced and has an amazing location. Alexander was unable to meet us when we arrived. After a few mishaps we ended up inside the wrong apartment. About one hour later we realized our unit was the one above (there are no door numbers). The place needs some cosmetic updates but otherwise is fine. A few repairs were needed: a large closet door was missing, some of the window shades were not working, peeling paint on the walls. My cellphone was not allowing me to make the final VRBO payment so was stressed about getting cash to Alexander while he was away. Finally made payment through the VRBO website with a friend's cellphone. The location is close to the Fountain St. Michel and the metro station. There are numerous shops and restaurants in the area. A grocery store is across the way. The restaurant/bar next door can be quite loud. 29 July 2017 - 21:29:00

The property had everything our family of four needed to spend a great week in Paris! It is conveniently located two blocks from St. Michel metro station, three blocks to the river, close to cafes, bars, bakeries, and the super market. The kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom is shiny and new. We would stay here again. 28 November 2017 - 13:04:00

What a perfect location. Alexander has clearly detailed his apartment, no surprises. Read the description and the reviews about the noise at night! You will need earplugs, because the bar below the apartment is loud. Thank you Alexander! 07 October 2017 - 13:07:00

Alexandre was an excellent host! The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. The beds and pillows were in good condition, as well as the linens. It was very handy to have the washer/dryer combo right in the kitchen. This is a third floor walk up (no lift), but you'll quickly become accustomed to the stairs. They're plenty wide and even, unlike some of the older buildings in Paris. The location can't be beat! We didn't even step foot on the metro as everything you need is just a few minutes walk away. Erik Kayser boulangerie is just a 2 min walk away, as is Carrefour. One of my favorite local restaurants, Chez Julien Lou Pescadou, is less than ten minutes away by foot. Step out to your right, and shop at SAM, a little leather baggage shop just a few steps away. Just one little side note... There is a bar right below the front bedroom and it can get noisy. This didn't bother us, as we sleep with earplugs anyway. But, if you are a light sleeper, opt for the back bedroom. In short, don't hesitate to book this apartment! You won't regret it! 20 September 2017 - 17:10:00

First, let me say, Alexandre is very responsive and does a good job responding and trying to help out. However, my family just returned here from a week-long stay. When we got there, there was scaffolding outside the windows and men worked on the building outside Monday-Friday starting a little before 9 a.m. It was incredibly loud inside. Lesson learned - always ask about building maintenance before you stay somewhere. If you are going in the next few weeks, I would ask about this. I also had some issues with the linen not up to my cleanliness standards - we ended up sleeping just with the sheets. I was told the duvet inserts are not cleaned every time and there were no duvet covers on them when we arrived. 15 September 2017 - 12:13:00
