About listing

Step straight into Amsterdam’s history, with this apartment situated in a unique 17th century Amsterdam monument! Ideally located in the city centre of Amsterdam, next to the Singel, the canal famous for the only floating flower market in the world. This modern and luxury designed apartment of 45 m² (484 ft²) is a great choice for modern-day travelers interested in exploring Amsterdam to the fullest, on their own or as a group up to two people. This monumental building is completely renovated and restyled in 2015/2016 and is now a blend of characteristic features and contemporary furnishings. The high ceiling provide a lot of natural daylight. The design is chique, cozy (or “gezellig” as we say in Dutch) and comfortable, creating a friendly and relaxed environment. The apartment offers self-catering accommodation with free Wi-Fi and can accommodate up to four guests. It has it's own private entrance with front door patio on the ground floor (small stairs) before entering the large living area with flat-screen TV (cable channels) and dining area. The designer sofa can be transformed into a comfortable queen size bed. The fully equipped open-plan kitchen has lots of natural daylight and features a microwave, refrigerator, stovetop, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine and kettle for your complimentary coffee and tea. There is a separate toilet and the private bathroom with walk-in shower comes with fluffy towels, hairdryer and soap amenities. Downstairs, in the souterrain, you will find the spacious master bedroom with a kingsized bed with luxury linens, TV, storage space and a designer washbasin with hot and cold running water. USB wall sockets are there for your convenience. Amsterdam is a city born for biking and walking. There are many sights to explore in the surroundings, such as the Flower market (50 m), Leidsestraat (220 m), Nieuwe Spiegelstraat art galleries (400 m), Rembrandtplein (450 m), The 9 Streets shopping district (650 m), Leidseplein (750 m), Royal Palace at Dam Square (850 m), the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and Vondelpark (1 km) and the Anne Frank House (1,7 km). Central Station is located at 2 km, RAI Amsterdam (4,8 km and 15 min by taxi) and Schiphol Airport is at 15 km from the property. The nearest supermarket (Albert Heijn at Koningsplein) is only 2 minutes away and the tram lines 1, 2 and 5 are the same distance. Trams 4, 9, 16 and 24 do stop at Muntplein and are at 3 minutes walking distance. In the center of the buzzing nightlife, several bars, LGBT venues, restaurants and two Pathé cinemas (including the historic Art Deco movie theater Tuschinski) can be found within a radius of 200 m. apron arrival, we were greated with the cutest entrance, looking exactly like the pictures, a ring of the doorbell and we were greeted with open arms, smiles, and nothing but kindness. The apartment itself was cute, spacious, and modern, with an old Amsterdam charm. After being given the tour, we were delighted to see they had a couple bottles of wine , some beer, soda, waters, and food for the first day; meats, cheeses, coffee, and espresso, Not only was the place a perfect match for what we wanted to accomplish , it was a perfect home base for exploring all the sights, canals, flower market, and nightlife. Next time i return to Amsterdam, theres no other place i would stay , Luxurious, Clean, and PRIME location! Thank You again for an amazing stay! Cant wait to return! 24 May 2017 - 16:09:00
