About listing

The studio is located in the heart of Chelsea, near many great restaurants, bars and sightseeing. The apartment is in a charming 5 story building (with elevator) and is located on the top floor. It was fully remodeled this year and is furnished with Pottery Barn and West Elm furniture. You can expect the following amenities when staying here: Elevator in building Queen bed, 600 thread count bedding and Sealy Postrupedic mattress Large couch that another person can sleep on comfortably Bathroom with shower/tub Stainless steel appliances: refridgerator, gas range, oven, microwave All-Clad pots and pans, Calphalon knife set 34'' TV with HD/DVR Wireless internet heating and A/C Short walking distance to all major subway lines. Close to shopping and grocery stores (Whole Foods and Trader Joes are less than 4 blocks away). The studio apartment is extremely clean because it is brand new and barely lived in (I travel for work during the week and travel for fun on the weekends). Enjoy!

Centrally located, close to subways, famous attractions, restaurants, and shopping. Clean studio apartment on quiet street. Owner is very responsive. Highly recommend. 23 October 2012 - 16:48:23

Overall we were very satisfied with the rental unit. It was exactly as the photos had shown - no surprises there. The location was fabulous, with restaurants, bars, bakeries and grocery stores every three doors. We had no problem finding reasonably priced restaurants and enjoyed the area tremendously. Although we were too early to enjoy the "green" side of Manhattan, we definitly recommend that you walk the HIGH LINE. This is a georgeous walkway, well worth finding. None of the books on Manhattan had it as an attraction but they should. Rental unit did not have coffee machine nor cups...which would have been nice since we wanted to have breakfast there. Subway stations were within a block and very convenient. We had purchased a New York Pass which also proved to be a good choice. Overall this was an excellent property and we would recommend it to anyone visiting Manhattan. 22 March 2013 - 16:38:11

Room was very nice and clean; just enough space for two. No road noise or noise from neighboring apartments. Very comfy bed. Excellent location to get to the best spots of Manhattan. 18 November 2013 - 19:04:39

My best friend & I had planned our 1st trip to NYC for months. We had rented a loft in Greenwich Village & the owner backed out of the deal just weeks before we were to arrive. Back to the drawing board, we were so fortunate to find this gem of an apartment on a quiet street in Chelsea. It's small & there is not a lot of drawer or closet room - especially for 2 women with a ton of clothes & shoes. That being said, it was cute, clean, comfortable & otherwise perfect for our needs. It was so quiet & centrally located. We were able to walk everywhere - Murray's Bagels for breakfast every day, the High Line, the Chelsea Market, Greenwich, restaurants .. and if we could not walk, there were a number of subway stations nearby. The neighborhood felt very safe (just a few doors down from a police precinct) & we met so many friendly people as were walking around. We both would highly recommend staying here & look forward to returning back sometime in the future. 09 June 2015 - 14:08:09
