  1. We loved staying at David and Patrick's studio. The location can't be beat and the apartment was clean and functional. The main bed was super squishy which was uncomfortable for us, but the futon was a nice alternative. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well-equipped. The 4 flights of stairs was a lot, but we got used to the hike pretty quickly! Overall, it was a great stay! 05 December 2015 - 06:43:40

Perfect location for our girls weekend in NYC! So many things in walking distance - The High Line, Chelsea Market, Eataly, and the most important one of all - Sleep No More! 02 December 2017 - 12:35:00

Apartment was in a great location where you are only a 2 minute walk from a subway stop and 2 stops from Times Square. 15 December 2017 - 21:15:00

Excellent location on a quaint street lined with Brownstones. For two women travelling alone we felt very safe in the area. The subway station is close by and there is a great little market and restaurant on the corner called Foragers. This was my first VRBO stay so I have nothing to compare it to, but I thought it wasn't the most professional experience. The access instructions on the Home Away app were out of date, luckily I had emailed the night before to confirm them. Someone else's groceries were still in the fridge when we arrived and the dishes in the cupboard were still wet as though someone had just left even though it was 9:00pm (well past check in time). The smoke detector battery was beeping "low battery" all night our first night and we were asked to change it ourselves; the owner wouldn't come by the replace it. The apartment itself was a bit shabby. There were holes in the wall, peeling plaster, tiles missing from the kitchen floor, and the corridor and stairwell smelled pretty musty. However, the bed was very very comfortable and the sheets and towels were clean. You'll probably only be here to sleep, so the above may not bother you. It's not a brownstone, so just get your expectations in check if that's what you're looking for. I can't say enough about the neighborhood though, there are so many great restaurants, it's not a far walk from the Highline and Chelsea Market, and the subway made it so easy to get around the city. 27 June 2016 - 14:57:00

Apartment was great and as expected. Clean and comfortable - great bathroom with a bath!!! The street and area are fabulous, felt totally safe and so easy with 2 Metro lines close by, plenty of city bike stations and loads of attractions right in the neighbourhood. Be prepared for stairs - we knew there wasn't a lift, but sometimes after an adventure filled day in NYC they challenged!! Whilst the bed was a bit soft for one of us, the elegant couch was an excellent alternative. We did have to put in a request for saucepans and wine glasses, but this was sorted very quickly. Tip for David & Patrick..... if previous guest ruins the pots don't wait for next guests to ask! We had a fabulous stay and would recommend highly. 25 August 2015 - 11:09:20

This place was great! It is located on a quiet, tree-lined street near many shops and restaurants. The apartment was clean and had everything I needed, included a comfortable bed, large shower, windows, and adequate kitchen supplies. The host was responsive and easy to work with. I would definitely stay here again. 07 October 2017 - 18:25:00

Small- but it is NYC! Clean, safe and fairly comfortable. Perfect for four close friends- that travel well together. Can't say enough about how fantastic the location is- I would have given 4.5 stars if I could have and would definitely return. 03 July 2017 - 00:03:00

This was our 1st non-hotel experience in NYC and we loved it. This property is easy to locate and access and so well located! It's on the smaller side but the bed is fabulous and the shower is really large as well. It has everything needed for a comfortable stay. We did 3 days there before heading to a wedding in NJ so it was lovely being able to cook breakfast in the am, have our coffee and also did a load of laundry too. We felt like we got a better "living in the city" experience outside of the crazy hustle and bustle of Times Square, yet the subway is SO close you can truly get anywhere quickly. Thank you for making our stay super easy and enjoyable! 08 June 2017 - 16:08:00
