My daughter and I stayed in this wonderful apartment. The apartment was clean, comfortable and the balcony view was fantastic. This was the last apartment we stayed in on a trip that took us from Rome Italy, to Florence Italy, to Brig Switzerland, to Bern Switzerland and finally to Paris. This was by far the best apartment we stayed in. The apartment was close to the metro which we used daily to see Paris. The owner was very helpful and alway kept in contact with me prior to the trip and even after my trip. We had one scare with my family while over in Paris and the owner was wonderful and very concerned which I greatly appreciated. I would recommend this apartment to anyone and if I ever return to Paris I would try to get this apartment again. The kitchen was well furnished and we had other family staying in other apartments throughout Paris and we ended up on our bacony at night for dinner and a glass of wine while we enjoyed the view of the Eiffel Tower. Again if you are in Paris I would try to rent this apartment. 15 October 2011 - 15:13:29

The appartment is truly fabulous as it offers unbelievable 360 degrees views of Paris....you will never want to leave the terrace! It was wonderful to be able to see the Eiffel Tower and Montmartre while having breakfast on the terrace. It is also perfectly located, with bus at your doorsteps, RER and Metro one block away within walking distance, and also, a park behind the building and easy access to food markets, restaurants. Would recommend it for its view and the kindness of the owner. I have already recommended this apartment to all of my friends and am planning my next trip back in the summer already! 23 March 2012 - 08:46:24
  3. Wow what an amazing place to stay! THE most wonderful views of the Eiffel Tower from the terrace and what a terrace!! Incredibly spacious and well decked out. And to be able to lie in bed and see the Eiffel Tower from your window is truly something special in my book! The apartment itself was lovely and clean and very comfortable. Great location too! Super close to the metro and right on the banks of the Seine - very romantic! The owner was extremely helpful as well in giving recommendations of where to eat, shop, have an aperitif! Some great brasseries and cafes within short walking distance. All in all, a great place to rent! We would highly recommend it! Already planning our next visit. 02 July 2012 - 13:21:02
  4. Our stay in Paris was only magnified more by the amazing view of the Eiffel Tower from the apartment. The apartment itself was perfect, a good size, with all ammenities and some little extras that Agnes supplied. Whilst just on the outskirts of the central hub of activity, the apartment was a short walk to the Eiffel Tower, with the Passy Metro station two minutes walk, providing immediate access to the rest of the city. We were met at the apartment and shown all necesary requirements and given hints for the surrounding area. But it was all about the view!! You could not beat it and will live with us forever. 10 September 2012 - 04:53:20

This was our first attempt at a vacation rental in a foreign country, so I had concerns that reality would not match the pictures. Once we arrived, I realized that I had no reason to be concerned. My wife and my parents stayed for 5 days and fell in love with everything about the flat. The size, the cleanliness, the terraces, the views! All of it, AMAZING! And the free calls to the US were a pleasant surprise. In addition to the flat itself, the location was fantastic. Neighborhood was nice and proximity to the Metro was very convenient. Highly recommend walks to Rue de l'Annonciation to grab food & browse the great shops. This will definitely be a place we will recommend to anyone we know planning to visit Paris. 11 December 2012 - 03:20:42

I cannot believe it has been 6 months since we stayed in this fantastic apartment. I apologize Agnes, for taking such a long time to submit a review. There is not much to add to the other reviews. Everything everyone else has said is true. To anyone thinking about renting this apartment, spend the extra money and do it. You will not regret it. I recently saw a photo in a magazine advertising a restaurant's view of the Eiffel Tower. The view from this apartment is better. It is truly stunning. The patio is a feature we never expected to experience in Paris. It is huge and private, and looks over the Seine. We enjoyed eating outside at night and watching the boats on the river. There is an electric grill in the apartment, and we used it on the patio on several occasions. We explored the city by day, then stopped at the market to buy what we needed for dinner. We cooked at the apartment every night. We did not want to leave the patio and that view! The owner of this apartment was extremely helpful, and answered all of our questions promptly. We would love to stay here again! 16 March 2013 - 00:43:04

We completely enjoyed our stay here. The view and decks can not be beat. Easy walk to the Eiffel tower and metro. It is nicely updated complete with heated floors in the bathroom. Agnes was always available by phone and helpful. So much better than a hotel! 26 May 2013 - 16:18:56

The flat has a new kitchen and bath, very contemporary and convenient. The furnishings are modern, but the high-light of the flat is its view of the Eiffel Tower, the Seine, and much of Paris. The terrace is huge, with 2 large tables and several chairs, lounge chairs also. Prospective users should be aware that they must climb a flight of stairs after leaving the elevator to get to the flat. No big deal, but it could be a problem for handicapped people. The neighborhood is mostly residential, but excellent shopping and restaurants are just minutes away. The Passy Metro stop and the #72 bus are very close. There are plenty of windows throughout, the flat is breezy, and very modern fans are in the bedrooms if needed. They look like room air filters. The owner is fluent in English, most accommodating and pleasant, and is available by phone. The housekeeper is on call, speaks excellent English, and also very helpful. The kitchen is equipped with all amenities, and the bathroom has a new washer-dryer. The shower is the "rain forest" type and has a hand-held attachment, glass enclosed, and the room is finished in dark gray stone with contemporary lighting. There is ample closet and storage space through-out. No air conditioning, but the nights are cool and the breeze off the river is very pleasant. No question, the flat is most worthy of a return visit. 04 July 2013 - 15:37:28

We stayed here for 5 nights in July, and it was truly an amazing experience! Agnes was professional, quick to respond, easy to deal with - and a real sweetheart! The apartment was exactly as pictured on the website - only better! The building was nice on the outside, located right next to the Seine, yet in a nice residential type neighborhood, just a few blocks from the Passy metro station, and a few more blocks to the Trocadero. The building had a nice "European" sized elevator, which was efficient and worked well. The apartment was very clean, and had everything we needed. And yes, there are stairs from the front door of the apartment up to the main living area, as well as a few stairs up to the kitchen, but all very manageable. It was very nice to have a washing machine, an iron, and lots of hangers and storage space. The kitchen was very modern and convenient. The living room and bedrooms were comfortable, and it was nice to have 2 bathrooms. The free international phone calls were also an amazing bonus. The real star of the show however was the balcony! The size of the balcony (actually 2 balconies) with the breath taking view of the Eiffel Tower was spectacular beyond words! We hurried home every evening just so we could spend time on the balcony relaxing, and enjoying the amazing view. I can't really imagine too many other places in Paris where the view is this spectacular - and to have the space to sit, and eat and drink while enjoying the amazing view - just made memories of a lifetime! My daughter even slept outside in a deck chair one night, just so she could enjoy the view as long as possible. I, however, chose to enjoy the same wonderful view from the main bedroom - imagine that - laying in bed, watching the Eiffel Tower sparkle every night, it was like a travel dream come true! Thank you so much Agnes for sharing your wonderful apartment! 24 August 2013 - 07:21:12

The balcony & view from this apartment are amazing, as is the view from the bedroom. The recently renovated kitchen and bathrooms are beautiful. You will have a great time here if you come and Agnes is a delight to deal with and very caring and professional. While the apartment block could do with some updating and Paris doesn't put on public fireworks on NYE (only Bastille Day) this doesn't detract from the pleasure of living like a Parisian. From you private balcony eating croissants & drinking hot chocolate/coffee admiring the view to start your day then strolling along the Seine banks past the Eiffel Tower into the heart of the city shopping and attractions this is a great base to call home. 10 January 2014 - 20:48:18

An amazing penthouse with a 50 sqm garden terrace facing the Seine and the Eiffel tower. UNREAL !!!! The first day i felt i was in a country house with sun, flowers, calm, little birds singing, but on the top of a building, in the middle of Paris :) an amazing feeling. The woman who owns this appartment is a far better guide and help than any of the Palace's concierge I've been to. The most romantic apartment on earth, believe me... 22 January 2014 - 14:23:37

Our family of four stayed in this flat for 2 weeks in July to celebrate our Son's graduation. COMMUNICATION: The communications with Agnes was ongoing and very helpful. She's professional and courteous:) provided information on tours, dining & much more. Our deposit was also returned timely. FLAT: The apartment was spacious, beds are comfortable, and having access to 1 full bath & another 1/2 bath was perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location of this flat was AMAZING!! Close to everything and after being gone all day exploring Paris, all we wanted to do is to stay at the balcony & watch the boats go by our flat and watch the lights of the Eiffel Tower each night. My queue to go to bed was at 1:00am after the last light show:)We enjoyed grilling Kebobs in the evening and watched the outstanding Bastille day fireworks that went on for about 35 minutes from several places around the Eiffel & directly from the tower.... :) OVERALL REVIEW: We recommend this place to families and we would love to come back and visit again in the future!!!!!!! Thank you :) RECOMMENDATIONS: Couple of recommendations that would have enhanced the experience ..... would be to have extra bed sheets for those hot nights vs the comforters & access to wall converters. A nice to have ... would be an upgraded sofa in the living room. CLARIFICATION: For US visitors, need to keep in mind when using the clothes dryer, there is still a need to air dry clothes on the hanger. 28 July 2014 - 01:55:52

This apartment is A GEM ! The view and location couldnt be better, the apartment comfortable, beautifully designed and well maintained. Specifically -- VIEW AND TERRACE: Hard as it is to believe, the view is even better than the pictures! Paris is spread out at your feet. The Eiffel Tower feels close enough to touch. There is no better view in Paris! Even without the view, the terrace would be a delight. On a sunny morning you could sunbathe there and in the evening you can watch the boats go up and down the river. It is so spacious, its like having a second apartment. APARTMENT: The best of the old and the new. The apartment retains the charming character of an older building an elevator with beautiful grillwork, high ceilings, a short curved staircase, original windows and doors. Yet it has all the modern conveniences. The kitchen and bath are completely renovated with top-of-the-line appliances and fixtures. You have everything you need to stay connected plenty of electrical outlets, speedy internet connection, numerous English cable channels. We loved the stylish elements the modern colors (especially the red cabinets!), the accent walls, the tilework, and baskets. The beds are super comfortable and the linens soft. There is even a unique sofa with very deep corners, perfect for curling up with a book or a loved one. LOCATION: Ideal! We have rented several apartments in Paris and this location is our favorite by far. Having an apartment that was away from the bustle of Paris but still within 10 or 15 minutes of it made for a much more relaxing stay. NEIGHBORHOOD: You are in a real neighborhood and can experience life as a Parisien. Nearby you can find the boulangerie, frommagerie, etc., and a daily market. If you prefer one-stop shopping, there is a supermarket with everything you could need. But if you dont want to cook, there are several takeout shops and plenty of restaurants. We loved exploring the small streets and squares and discovering the shops, gardens, and stone stairways. Dont worry if you cant speak French. Most waiters and shopkeepers speak a little English and if they dont, there is always someone around who does and is happy to help. OWNER: She is a joy to deal with, responding to every email promptly. She was also very generous with her time, answering more questions than we had a right to ask. We truly felt privileged being able to rent her lovely apartment. 15 November 2014 - 21:31:55

The views from this penthouse is amazing! Pictures do not do it justice. When we arrived, we immediately went outside to the balcony and the view literally took our breathe away. In the evenings, every hour on the hour the tower "sparkles" and its just so beautiful to see while having a nice glass of wine on the balcony. The penthouse is located in a safe neighborhood and walking distance to the Eiffel Tower. The bridge that you see in one of the pictures that Agnes posted is a great photo op. As we walked to the tower we saw many couples taking their wedding pictures there. There is also a train station walking distance to the penthouse. Agnes was very helpful and was very responsive to all my questions and concerns. I highly recommend this rental. Next time I am in Paris I will definitely reach out to Agnes again. 27 May 2015 - 17:49:50

We are just back from having spent a lovely week in this property. The apartment was everything it promised and more. The view as everyone has said, is quite breathtaking. We got excited every night watching the lights come on the tower and then it twinkles on the hour every hour till 2am! The balcony is large and comfortable and the apartment itself is spacious, spotlessly clean and has everything you could wish for. The apartment is situated in the Passy district which we fell in love with. It has an up market, less busy feel and felt very safe to walk around. The local supermarket was excellent and you are only a short walk to Passy metro stop - which is an open over ground stop which is very easy to use. Agnes was lovely to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone. We fell in love with Paris and I have no doubt we will be back to the apartment in the future. 03 August 2015 - 14:08:36

This apartment was simply lovely and Agnes & her apartment manager were very helpful and responsive. The pictures cannot do justice to the amazing Eiffel Tower views, which were simply breathtaking. We were there over Bastille Day (which is also my birthday) and it made the day unforgettable to be able to have dinner and watch the fireworks from the terrace. We talk about our trip all the time and I hope we will be back soon! 28 February 2016 - 15:29:59

Our recent stay was incredible, as others noted, the pictures only touch the surface. We enjoyed many "wine & cheese" moments on the terrace with a full view of the iconic Eiffel Tower. Agnes and her caretaker looked after us before and during our arrival. The location is close to the metro and train, allowing easy access to all Paris has to offer. This flat is top notch and we will hope to use it again on future Paris visits....it is A+ 23 May 2017 - 20:02:00

I have stayed at this VRBO 4 times and expect it continue to be an annual visit. The flat, location and owner are all fantastic. Agnes, the owner is excellent at answering questions by email or by calling. She provides simple instructions so payments are easy and return of security deposit has always been no issue. Her care taker, Justine, meets you at the flat and provides all functional information and gives you her phone number in case you have further questions. The flat itself starts with the HUGE top floor terrace and the spectacular views. You are literally a few yards from the Seine and the Eiffle tower is basically in your backyard. No words can describe the view and staying in the terrace until 1 AM enjoying the tower twinkle is a nightly occurrence. The inside is adequate for a two bedroom, not huge but we've had up to 5/6 in there comfortably. Be sure and ask for directions for the range and washer/dryer. All dishes, silverware and cooking equipment provided. Cable TV in many languages but rarely use it. There is no AC which was a little rough when it got over 90 for our last stay but opening the windows and sliding door created significant air movement. The location is quiet and out of the way, but minutes walking time to the metro and shipping, grocery and a couple restraints. Easy access to fresh croissants for breakfast on the way to the metro to start your day. Definite 5 stars!!!! 21 June 2017 - 17:19:00

Never will we forget the view. Or more accurately the views. Because the Eiffel Tower changes with the weather and the lights. The more distant view of Sacre Coeur competes for attention , but the tower is the main show. Agnes is a delight to deal with. Get tickets early for the ballet or the opera. Maybe a quick trip to Rheims (the petite Paris) for a few days to to get acclimated first. It is an easy train ride from Aeroport CDG (pronounce "Show de Go") We went to Gent and Brugge afterward, and a canalboat trip from Neiuport to Ypres for the WWI sights. But Paris is Paris and all one really needs. Metro is at Passy (M6). and the RER C is only 400 meters away. It takes you to the main stops in the city. Catch a mini concert at night at Saint Chappelle if you can. And don't miss the Marmottan museum. Bois de Boulougne is walkable but better to take metro there and then walk around. Don't even think about bringing a car! We dined in more than we anticipated because we enjoyed the flat so much. wi-fi actually works and you can use landline also. Induction stove works great (use correct pan) as does wash machine (tho typically euro slow). Wonderful time. Thank you Agnes! Carl 09 October 2014 - 11:39:29
