This flat was absolutely perfect for our family of 3, and Liz simply could not have been more helpful and accommodating. From maps and directions sent in advance for everything one could possibly need, to a selection of guidebooks in the apartment... and COFFEE... HOORAY!, every single detail was anticipated and addressed. Liz is amazing! The flat itself was wonderful too! Near 2 tube stations, an easy walk to restaurants, pubs, shopping, the British Museum, Madame Tussaud's, Oxford Street and MUCH more. And teen daughter enjoyed downtime with ample Netflix choices. 26 April 2014 - 17:33:12

It's been our second stay with Liz. The place is sparkling clean & very well maintained. The location is excellent -central, close to tube stations, many supermarkets around to choose from. Both Liz & Jack were very attentive to our needs. We'll definitely stay there on our next visit to London! 24 May 2014 - 15:37:42

We stayed at this apartment for 5 days in May. It is a very well laid out apt. The rooms are airy and well equipped. Although we didn't cook, the kitchen was well fitted out and spacious. The whole flat was clean and well proportioned. The owner also is very responsive and helpful. The location is ideal for doing pretty much anything in and around London with good tube access and taxis easy to find. Central London is easily walkable too. I would recommend the property unreservedly. 31 May 2014 - 11:19:18

This flat had everything we needed including more space than hotel rooms that tend to be cramped. Our clean, well equipped flat was located between two convenient tube stations and the neighborhood was filled with restaurants, pubs and shopping. We would definitely recommend this flat and efficient Liz to others. Our security deposit came back to us with surprising speed!!! 23 January 2015 - 14:15:52

we ware pleasantly suprised that everything was exactly the way it was described, the apartment is close to subway (tube) and as you come out the front door go right around the corner and there is a great place for morning coffee, and plenty of pubs, the bed is comfortable but the pullout couch can use a thicker mattress, the apartment is clean and Liz is great to communicate with, we definitely would come back. I can recommend this without any hesitation. 29 April 2015 - 21:15:23

This was our second stay and it was perfect ...again. Great location, excellent contact with the owners, Liz and Jack. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in London for two weeks. Warren St. tube, close to the bus stops...and the Grafton Arms for our local! 19 November 2015 - 05:20:42

If there's a better place to set down in London for about three weeks than 12-16 Fitzroy St, I can't imagine it. My wife and I just did that (Nov, 2015) and we loved it. The location (about five-six minutes from the Goodge St and Warren St tube stops was perfect. In fact we would not have wanted the walks to be shorter, because in each direction we found outstanding restaurants as we traipsed. The apartment itself is perfect for two people (not sure it could REALLY handle more, but maybe...) The bed was perfect for my wife but, sadly, just a little too hard for someone like me who prefers to be "swallowed" by his mattress! Still, I slept very well for my entire stay. The kitchen appliances were great. Well, we did not choose to use the oven, but it was there. The toaster... the microwave.. the dishwasher... the coffee pot...the washer/dryer (a little slow, but oddly efficient, once we figured it out) all were great. We watched some TV, but one of us could retire to the separate bedroom if we wanted. Occasionally, there was some (college?) revelry audible a block or so away when we would first go to bed, but never so loud it would keep you awake. And then for the rest of the night the place is perfectly quiet. We left some written recommendations for great restaurants (Andreas' near Goodge on Charlotte.. and note that Fitzroy becomes Charlotte a block or so south of the apartment) and the BEST was Sergio's on the corner of Great Titchfield and Foley streets. We walked to the British Museum, to shopping on Bond Street, even to Leicester Sq for theater tickets. One quibble I have with the owner.. I wish the phone would permit outgoing calls, even if only local outgoing calls. Wanting to make an emergency call if necessary, I bought a small "dumb" phone and a sim card for UK calls plus 500 minutes to the US, all for about $37 (yes, dollars!). Long story short, I recommend Liz as a landlady and her Fitzroy St flat as a perfect, and perfectly affordable, place to stay in London. 03 December 2015 - 17:47:20

Our family of 3 enjoyed our stay here- we were prepared for the flat's smallish size, and found it clean and comfortable for 2 adults and a teenage son. Great location close to many restaurants and easy access to multiple underground stations and bus lines. Owners were very responsive and helpful with planning. 21 June 2014 - 16:16:18

This property is as described in its listing. It's central to most everything in London w/easy access to underground and buses to take you further out. The apartment is clean, tidy, quiet and safe. We (seniors) had no problem/worries walking home late at night. It does look directly out to a business/school setting but the curtains/shades take care of that issue. Liz' instructions are very thorough and if you follow them you will have no problem accessing the apartment, running the appliances and having your deposit refunded. When we return to London, we will definitely look to stay here again. 28 October 2017 - 19:11:00

We really enjoyed being in Fitzrovia, we were able to easily walk or "uber" virtually everywhere. The apartment was perfect. spotless and well appointed. Liz and her team were very responsive and helpful. Having such a great base contributed enormously to our stay in London. 21 September 2017 - 16:15:00

Liz's place is clean and comfortable and just exactly as pictured and described. The location is perfect for getting to so many of London's tourist area either by walking or by the 4 Underground stations that are an easy 5-10 minute walk. The bed was comfortable and the apartment very quiet. We felt very safe coming and going. Liz was great in providing a huge packet of information to assist us in not only getting to the apartment, but also with info on getting to many tourist areas, day trips, and restaurants. We loved beautiful Regent's Park, which was an easy 5-10 minute walk. This was our first trip to London and we would definitely stay here when we visit again! 17 September 2017 - 23:29:00

Well maintained quiet flat. Bed very comfortable with plenty of storage space. Only spot of bother was the washing machine. Directions for operation of this complicated marvel could be better explained. All in all though an excellent stay. 25 August 2017 - 09:28:00

Flat is small by Australian standards (but it is London) however it has everything you need. Ablsolutely bucket loads to walk to and public transport is a breeze. Easy 10 minute walk to Oxford Street and a whole 15 minutes to Regent Street. Heaps of restaurants/cafes and of course no shortage of pubs. Liz is attentive, even though we had no need to avail of her. Apartment is in an area where there is some construction happening but the apartment is quiet and streets are safe. There are lots of areas to stay in Greater London but if Fitzrovia/Soho/ Piccadilly is a choice give this serious thought. . 13 August 2017 - 20:21:00
  15. The apartment is located between two Underground stations which is important to anyone hoping to use public transport. Taxis and bus lines are only two street away. This is a very desirable part of London with many shops and restaurants within a short walk. The apartment is small but very comfortable. All appliances were in good working order. Clear instructions for operating the washer/dryer and connecting to WiFi are available. Liz, the owner made herself available to answer any questions quickly We agreed that we wouldn't hesitate booking this apartment in the future and recommend it to any single person or a couple. Construction in the building created some sound issues and the view of office windows and a roof at the flat's window level were drawbacks, but the flat is great. Very bright and well appointed and has good access to amenities and interesting restaurants. Liz was very responsive and provides great information about the flat and the area! 16 July 2017 - 13:13:00

We have just left beautiful London and a stay at Fitzrovia. The little flat we stayed in was amazing. It was clean and well appointed. Everything you would need for your stay. Sheets and towels appeared to be new. The location was great close to a couple of fine pubs and and a Greek restaurant. The 3 of us were very happy there. The best think we did was to use Allison Lee cab company for getting around. I have a walking issue and they were a god sent. The only negative I have is the main bed was a little firm. Not so good for me but for others it may be great. Thank you Liz for your help. We would definitely stay again 04 July 2017 - 08:10:00

The flat was just as shown by the website photos. It is small but clean. The bed is very comfortable. Liz and Jack were there to answer any questions and even came over to get the WiFi connection back up when we lost it during our stay. The location is perfect. We walked to Westminster, the west end theatre district, St. Paul's, all major tourist attractions are convenient and there are several tube stations within a 5 minute walk. Negatives: the office building behind is very close so that blinds have to be down all the time for any privacy. The freezer needs defrosting, the counter cook top needs a cleaning along with the oven. It is good for 2 people but not more. You can open either the table or the sofa bed but not both. I would recommend it, and already have just for the location alone.. 25 July 2013 - 19:58:47

We loved staying in this one bedroom apartment in London. It looked exactly as described and was extremely quiet as it is at the back of the buidling overlooking offices that are closed in the evening. The street has a wonderful selection of restaurants and we found we only had to stroll down the street to find a reasonably priced excellent evening meal. Worth recommending: The Fitzroy Pub (best fish and chips I've ever had), Zizi (Italian chain with very nice options), and Navarros (tapas restaurant - probably the closest to the apartment). The apartment itself offered extremely comfortable bed and linens, ease of access (lift), cleanliness, and well thought-out equipment. We were happy to have the opportunity to shut both the bedroom door and the living room door in the morning and late at night when one of us wanted to sleep and the other one was up. We are seniors - but walked from the apartment to Oxford Street, the British Museum (don't miss it), Covent Gardens, Plays, etc. It was also easy to access the tube - several lines in walking distance. The neighborhood itself is a mix of residential and large companies (we could see some of their workers toiling late at night as we walked home) - but it is always active - contributing to the feeling of safety. The apartment itself is accessed through a locked entry door on the street. We also appreciated that the media tower was a block away so we could easily find out little street as we walked home. The instructions left with the apartment provide lots of helpful hints - including a web address for a taxi service that was prompt in picking us up as we left on our final day. 30 October 2016 - 09:46:00
