A newly built apartment with all the features of a safe, comfortable home. Super convenient in every way: a 1 minute walk from the station, with 20 minute trains to central London, departing every few minutes. Nestled in the back of a boutique flat building with a private terrace offering peace and quiet and the ultimate privacy. The apartment is located in West Wimbledon 100yards from Raynes Park mainline railway station. Direct trains, every 5-10 minutes, take you to central London Waterloo station in 20 minutes. From here you are a few minutes walk to the Southbank area (location of the London eye) with all its restaurants, bars museums and galleries. Take the subway, bus or walk across the river(10-15 minutes) to Covent Garden, the heart of the Theatre district. The Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace are all within easy walking distance from this area. One stop from Raynes Park station(3 minute train journey) you can take the subway direct to South Kensington(25 minutes)in the Museum district, or to the Notting Hill area of London. If you stay on the same line you can go direct to the Tower of London. From Raynes Park station you can also go direct to Hampton Court in under 20 minutes. There are numerous supermarkets, convenience stores, pharmacies, coffee shops, bars, and restaurants all within 2-3 minutes walking distance from the apartment.     My husband and I and our two children spent 5 days in this beautiful apartment. We found it to be very well furnished and clean and well stocked with everything you could need. The location cannot be faulted, right across the street from Raynes Park railway station, and as the flat is at the back of the building there is no noise to be heard. The flat has a lovely private patio outside which (weather permitting!) is lovely to sit in enjoying the complimentary prosecco after a long day sightseeing! We found both Mark and his wife to be very helpful, and correspondence was always very prompt, and they were always available should we have needed them.     We stayed for two weeks with our two children. (10 and 13). The location was excellent for getting in and out of the centre of London. The outdoor space is huge! We spent a lot of time on the patio in the evenings. An amazing treat to have such space in the city. Such a peaceful place to relax at the end of the day. The apartment is clean and modern. Comes with everything you need. The owner was helpful and responsive. I would stay here again and recommend it highly. So close to the train station and all sorts of amenities.     The listing is completely accurate! We found the flat to be immaculate, new, modern but still warm and charming. Beds were very comfortable. Still can't believe the terrace - so big, quiet and peaceful! Perfectly located for us, super close to all transportation, but far enough away from the center to have a neighborhood feel. Mark couldn't have been better. Super-fast communication, all questions answered, including step-by-step directions to get to the apartment from Heathrow on public transportation. There was some "starter" food in the frig so we didn't have to run to the store immediately. He even helped us find a chiropractor when some health issues arose. Security deposit was promptly refunded. We came as a family of four, and my teen sons want me to add that the wifi was great!     We've had a great time in London in this apartment. It was cosy and well equiped. Although the apartment is on a busy road, it's very quit inside. The outside space is much larger than we expected. The train for Waterloo is just on the opposit of the road. In 20 minutes you're in the middle of London.     Mark and his family are amazing hosts: they take care of you and your family since the beginning. They gave us clear instructions on how to get to the apartment from the airport, booked a car for us and even bought some food and champaigne so that all our needs were covered from the very beginning. In terms of the flat, it is perfeclty located 2 minutes away from the train that takes you to the center of London in about 20 minutes. Everything is renovated, fully equipped and comfortable, and something we loved is that it has floor heating which for our little kids was a big plus. While it was too cold for us to go outside in November the terrace seemed to be the perfect place for long summer evenings. Overall a great experience and we will definitely consider Mark's apartment our first choice when we come back to London. 05 December 2016 - 10:13:00

    I've been travelling for some 30 years and since some years, i have chosen appartments for holidays. This venue has been the best i have ever used ! Modern finish, right spaced, very well located in a calm yet up market town.... Very happy with our choice and would be returning here for any further visits to London.....the host Mark is very efficient and although i did not meet him personally, he seems well organised and with a discerning eye, given the style of the apartment.     Mark the owner met us. He made it up the stairs despite being on crutches. The apartment is a short distance from Raynes Park Rail Station. The trains run every 5 mins to Waterloo Rail Station. It takes 15 mins. From Waterloo Rail Station you can walk to Covent Garden 10-15 mins across the Waterloo Bridge or take a bus. We used the 136 that takes you to Oxford Circus for Oxford Street shopping or Piccadilly for Soho. I would stay here again if available. Cheers Mark 09 April 2017 - 11:41:00

    Perfect spot to visit central London,Kingston, Richmond,Kew gardens etc. Buses and trains on doorstep every few minutes. Want to eat in or on the patio then Waitrose, Sainsbury or Co-op a few steps away. Car parking sorted for you as well as any other problems you may incur by owners nearby.     We easily walked to the train and bus. We found the kitchen was perfect for preparing breakfast and dinner. The grocery stores were close by and the local area was welcoming. The patio was very nice though the weather limited our use. We easily felt at home during our stay. Our hosts live in the area and are very responsive. We stayed for three weeks and felt at home every day and could not have had a more relaxing vacation. We found the noise level low and the beds comfortable.     This flat had everything I needed for my time in London. It's also perfectly located in SW London. Although the flat is not large, it's well furnished, and the layout is perfect. I felt like I was at home because it is such a quiet flat although it's situated right off a high traffic road. The best part of the flat is the patio space... it is enormous; unfortunately I didn't get to sit outside due to the weather. I hope to stay again the next time i'm in town.     Loved our stay. Impressive, well-appointed, immaculate flat with a lovely patio and the conveniences of home. It's a three minute walk to the Raynes Park train station that will take you into London. Grocery stores, good restaurants and coffee shops are all within a five minute walk. You can spend the day seeing the sites and then return to the flat for a respite from the crowds. Our host, Mark, was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions quickly. There's a nice binder in the house with instructions for the appliances and recommendations for local restaurants. This was very helpful! There was also some basic necessities waiting for us in the fridge, which we really appreciated since we had gotten in a little late. All in all, the best accommodations during our two week trip.     The hosts were very helpful and responsive. The flat is nice and clean and light and mostly very quiet given the urban location. The deck adds a lot of space. Kitchen is well stocked and handy.     Mark's Raynes Park apartment is fantastic for a family exploring London. We stayed there with our 2 teenage daughters. The apartment is very nice, a good size and has everything you need to feel at home. The apartment is modern and clean. The kitchen is very well equipped so that you can choose to cook for yourselves if you don't want to eat out. While it was cooler when we were there so we didn't use the patio for eating or living, it is lovely and would be a great addition in the summer. The apartment is very well located, just a couple minutes walk from the train that takes you into Waterloo station in about 10 minutes. So, the location allows you to easily access central London while having a quiet refuge at the end of the day. There are shops nearby and a good grocery store a 5 minute walk away. There are also green spaces nearby with nice trails for those looking for a morning run or walk. Mark and his family were very welcoming and it was so lovely to have some food in the apartment when we arrived tired after a trans-Atlantic flight! We would definitely book this apartment again on a return trip to London and have already recommended it to friends and family if they are heading to London. 05 January 2017 - 14:56:36
