About listing

First I would like to say that this home is on a very quiet residential street with very quiet neighbors. We require that any outside activities be brought inside no later than 9pm each night. If you plan to entertain folks other then the ones you indicate on your inquiry will be staying the night, or if you think there is any chance your group might get even just a little loud, this surely will not be the right home for you 5 bedroom, 3 bath, 2,700 sq ft (250 sq meters). One downstairs bedroom has a Single bed and the other has a Single over Full bunk Bed with a Single pull-out Trundle. Master bedroom upstairs has 2 Queen beds as does the large upstairs front bedroom. The "kids room" upstairs has Single bunk beds. So a total of 10 beds (4 Queens, 1 Full, and 5 Singles) Living room has a real wood-burning fireplace with a built-in pizza oven. There is wireless internet access and cable TV with Sports Package. Our home is a short 2 block walk to downtown Mountain View's Castro St with hundreds of restaurants of every nationality. We're also a short walk to the Steven's Creek Trail, as well as CalTrain (a Baby Bullet train stop to San Francisco and San Jose) and Light Rail. Close to highways CA85, US-101, CA237 and I-280 (although you can't see or hear any of them). Close to Googxx, Linked!n, Facebxxk, Microsoft, Apple, and many other high-tech companies. Less than 6 miles to Stanford University and Stanford Hospital and less than 2 miles to El Camino Hospital. If you have any issues with check-in and check-out times or any special requests for your arrival, please just let us know. Some friends from the East Coast cannot start a day without Dunkin' Donuts coffee. Not just any coffee, it has to be their brand. Caf or Decaf? Soy milk or Half-n-half? If you have a request, just let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate you. With the summer demand in downtown Mountain View, we usually rent this home to one Guest for the full 3 months of Jun/Jul/Aug. So PLEASE do not make a reservation request for that period for any shorter than 2 months. You can feel free to send us an inquiry and we can update you, but PLEASE do not send an actual reservation. We look forward to hearing from you, and we hope you'll decide right now to at least reach out to us with an inquiry. -Anne and Mike

Enjoyed being able to walk to the restaurants and bars every night. Great location for the 49ers game. House is a lot bigger/better than what it looks like when you first pull up to the house. Once you walk in it's shocking how great of a house it really is. 07 October 2016 - 19:07:00

We had some employees coming in from out of town for training and we worked out of the house. There were plenty of rooms and space for everyone and employees that stayed there really enjoyed it. It was only a couple blocks from Castro street so nice walk with lots of great options for meals! We had great communication with the owners, Anne and Mike, and they always responded quickly to our questions :) 07 November 2016 - 22:29:00
