Goldilocks gem of a property, located in the Marina district, provides quick and convenient access to San Francisco’s fabulous attractions. Plan your day from this quiet retreat. Start off with a walk or bike ride along the Marina Green bike and running path just across the street. Veer right to Fort Mason and the Sunday farmers market, also just across the street. Need something for lunch at home? No problem. Safeway is one block around the corner. On your one-block walk to Safeway, stop for a latte with the locals at Starbucks, or the Post Office or a dry cleaners. Did I mention the convenience of the location? Want city hustle and bustle? Try busy Chestnut Street 6 blocks further for unique-to-SF dining and small-shop shopping. Want even more action? Choose from numerous 15-minute walks that land you at Pier 39, or the Palace of Fine Arts, the Presidio, the expansive Crissy Field, and even the promenade to the Golden Gate Bridge. Great location. Great view of harbor. Flowers awaited us in this wonderful apartment. Grocery store across the street, buses close, walking distance to pier, comfortable beds. We had a wonderful time. 08 April 2015 - 03:19:02

We felt so fortunate to have found this rental! The apartment is lovely, well equipped and very convenient. It's a short walk to a terrific walk/bike trail, just across the street from the Safeway, a super Friday night food truck extravaganza, and a bustling Sunday morning Farmer's market. It's a short walk to a great coffee shop ( Bereka). We had a delightful week in Brian's beautiful, roomy, comfortable rental. 21 April 2015 - 02:54:53

This place is wonderful! It has 2 nice bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is brand new and great for cooking. There is lots of space and a huge TV with cable. I stayed here for a week for a work conference and it was very quiet and comfortable! I would stay here again any time I'm in SF area. Quick Uber ride to downtown. Starbucks is on the same street as this apartment. Safeway is literally across the street. Also across the street is a beautiful walking path along the Marina. STAY HERE!! Its worth it! 27 April 2015 - 18:29:25

This is definitely a home away from home! Well furnished and comfortable. Close to great resturants, store and sites to see! Can't wait to return! Plus Brian was VERY helpful! 14 May 2015 - 20:05:21

Our family of 4 stayed here for 5 nights. I am a former SF Marina native and can vouch for the location. Being steps away from Starbucks and Safeway was awesome; seeing a sliver of the yachts at the yacht club from the living room window was awesome! Brian was very accommodating. Definitely felt like a home away from home!!! 04 July 2015 - 02:38:11

My family and I really enjoyed staying in this lovely apartment. It has a perfect location and is light, bright and breezy. Furhtermore, we had an important, last-minute request and Brian was remarkably responsive and helpful. In fact, he went above and beyond to make sure that our transition to his property went smoothly. I would recommend this apartment without hesitation or reservation. 03 August 2015 - 13:50:14

My family of 4 loved this apartment with its numerous amenities. This was our first time in San Francisco and having a kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms was key to everyone having enough amply space to enjoy ourselves without tripping over each other like you would do in a traditional hotel room. Brian was quick in his responses and gave us numerous tips in a very thorough email describing sights to see and recommendations for food and the like. There is a grocery literally on the corner of the street which was fantastic to grab items for breakfast. You are within walking distance of numerous sites and have a gorgeous view of the waterfront and marina. The area was quiet at night - perfect for open window sleeping, but you could walk up to Chestnut Street just 10 minutes away for lively restaurants and shopping. I would stay here again if we return! 11 August 2015 - 19:35:59

First of all, the pics posted does not give this house justice, it looks way better when your there. We stayed at Brian's Marina Home for 11 days and it was the best SF vacation we've ever had! We fell inlove with this home instantly. Location is amazing! You can see the marina through the living room window. Palace of fine arts and crissy fields is around 10-15 min walk away. It will take you the same time to walk to fishermans warf but on the opposite direction. This location is a runners paradise. Safeway and starbucks is literally next door. We were also next to fort mason wich holds a foodtruck event every friday called Off the Grid. This is a must do, awesome food, cool vibe. Brian is an awesome host, very prompt in answering guests concerns. Its a good sized 2 bedroom unit, with a big comfy living room. Kitchen, Dinning, washer dryer does the trick. If you're looking for a place in SF, look no further! Two thumbs Up! I recommend this place 101%! We will definitely keep coming back here. 19 August 2015 - 12:19:15

This condo was perfect for two couples with a car. Having access to parking was a big factor for us. We did the Alcatraz and city tours (recommended), walked around the city, met friends, ate a lot, drove to Sausalito, Muir Woods (awesome) and the wine country. San Fran is a beautiful, clean city with lots of activity -wish we had stayed longer. The unit was clean, had plenty of room for all of us to be comfortable, is tastefully decorated, even a dozen fresh roses in a vase! The view out the front window is lovely and there is a grocery store across the street. Brian replied promptly to my questions and was very helpful with suggestions. If we return to San Francisco, we will stay there again! 22 September 2015 - 23:34:09

The apartment is in a fantastic location to access everything San Francisco has to offer. The unit was clean and everything appears to be well taken care of. We really enjoyed our time in the apartment and would consider staying there again in the future. 13 October 2015 - 14:23:07

Fabulous stay! We actually ran the Golden Gate half marathon so the location was DOUBLY perfect. We walked to the start, we walked to Pier 39 and Fishermans Wharf, we walked to the Cable Cars and buses! We walked everywhere. Found some great places to eat and the Safeway was just across the street. The home features a garage so we could park the car off the street and not pay additional parking. If you want to get the real San Francisco experience I highly recommend this location and home. Perfect for two couples or a small family. Views of the marina are quite charming! 13 November 2015 - 18:19:25

Stayed here over super bowl and can't say a bad thing. We loved the home. We loved the neighbourhood. It was an easy walk to the marina, presidio, Fort mason, wharf, ghiardelli square, cable cars, pier 39, Sauasalito ferry and more. $10 uber ride or less had us to baker beach, golden gate park, Haight St, Union Square, China Town, North Beach and the embarcadero. The house was clean and stocked. Brian was a great host. Always quick to help and had my damage deposit back on departure day (an issue for me in the past on vrbo). Within 1 minute is Safeway and Starbucks. A few restaurants within 2 minutes and a ton of great spots 5 mins away on trendy Chestnut Street. Already miss it. Would go back and would stay here. Strongly recommend. Top notch. 12 February 2016 - 06:26:02

This is a wonderful residence. First of all Brian, the owner, is very accommodating, efficient and ever wanting to please. The location is excellent. My two adult girls roomed all over this vibrate neighborhood. Coming from the Chicago area my daughter has a new appreciation of jogging San Francisco hills but the park across the street and shoreline was excellent.Brian let us park in the garage just below the condo. What a convenience! The condo itself is very roomy. The pictures do not do justice to this location. Bedrooms very large. Family room, kitchen and living room with large TV offers much space. We walked in one evening and there were light candles in the fireplace aglow which surprised the girls. Never figures were that switch was. I have used VBRO many times over the years, Brian is the absolute best owner I every met. I had a medical issue that made us cancel this trip for four months, He agreed to reschedule at my first request of dates without price difference. I met him in person an hour after I arrived. He checked if there was anything needed. The keys and garage opener were on table when I arrived. I never saw Brian again but was assured he would be available if anything was needed., My family had a wonderful week .The condo exceeded expectations.. What a find! 25 March 2016 - 00:22:31

We could not have been happier with "The Beach House". First, you overlook the Marina. Jogging is out the door, bike rentals half a block up, dogs everywhere. The neighborhood is upscale and has easy access to the highway (if you are traveling out of the city) or the wharf area. You are half mile from Ghirardelli Square and there are numerous wonderful restaurants in a 12 minute walk. Don't want to eat out? Safeway (with great take away) is around the corner, as is Starbucks. The rooms were huge, beds and sofa super comfy (needed after walking the city all day). I can't understate the benefit of using the garage for our rental car. We planned some excursions outside the city and needed a car. Parking in San Francisco is *very* difficult and equally expensive. At a hotel, this would have added at least $40 a day. Having 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen just allowed everyone to relax more as there was less of a morning rush and we could relax in evening. Thank you Brian for being such a wonderful host. Your "Beach House" took our vacation to a next level of comfort. 08 April 2016 - 20:12:00

Perfect location in the Marina district. The unit is very well maintained, no complaints at all. In fact the unit was stocked with several necessities such as cleaning products, laundry detergent, etc. We will stay at this condo on our next trip to San Francisco. 14 November 2017 - 18:33:00

It's probably all already been said, but here's our summary... Fantastic rental. Great location for both nature and city entertainment pursuits. All rooms are large and the place is impressively quiet. Extremely clean and well-stocked with sundries upon arrival. Excellent kitchen with plentiful and good quality dishes, flatware, glasses, cooking supplies, etc. Comfortable, bright living and dining areas. Lots of tour guides and brochures for San Francisco and surrounding areas in the living room. We only used the main bedroom which was also very comfortable, with a good bed, plenty of warm comforters and lots of storage space (closet and drawers). Climate control was good as were shower water pressure and hot water. Garage parking was available for our Nissan Murano. It was just a great clean and relaxing place to come home to after a day or night of activity. Great for short term or longer term stays. Safeway and Starbucks around the corner were pluses too. Brians responsiveness before, during and after the rental were stellar. Thanks for the fast security deposit refund. Now that I wrote that, I changed my mind. Perfect rental. 25 December 2013 - 18:51:50
  19. You will find the Beach House a wonderful place to stay. It has modern amenities, is attractive, clean and well maintained. It's convenient location gives you a view of the bay within walking distance of many tourist sites. The grocery store is around the corner. The owner quickly responds to any questions. I recommend this apartment with enthusiasm. 03 April 2014 - 16:50:48
