We stayed here for the last few days of our honeymoon in August 2017. This cottage was perfect for two people! Absolutely lovely. Had a lot of outdoor space with patio sets, well-kept tennis courts, and the cutest vintage furniture and decor inside. The space was very clean and comfy. We were even welcomed with a bottle of wine, these little touches made us feel so welcome. It was a quick Uber/Lyft ride to the square or a longer walk/run. We also enjoyed that it was very close to a few of our favorite wineries (Gundlach Bundschu & Scribe). Would love to return to this cottage & we definitely would recommend this property to others. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Linda! 20 August 2017 - 14:13:00

so glad we found Linda and Clark's Little House -- Just between downtown and some fantastic wineries, super quiet and peaceful. And Linda was always available to answer any question, offer a solution, from first contact right thru check-out. All-around, an excellent experience! 21 July 2017 - 11:10:00

My wife and I stayed at Clark's Little house a few weeks ago and were surprised at how nice the house was. The cottage was extremely clean and well maintained. It's not as "little" as we anticipated and has several amenities (really nice tennis court, bicycles to use, microwave, small fridge, great outdoor sitting areas, etc.). The plaza is only about a mile away, so we rode bicylces there and also to a few wineries. I would highly recommend Clark's Little House, as it gives a feel to having your own private getaway in Sonoma. And the best thing... this place is about half the cost of other similar properties (with similar amenities). 02 May 2010 - 13:12:23

The property is gorgeous, the owner is very welcoming. There is lots of outdoor space to enjoy the weather & scenery, as well as a glass of wine. The bath in the tub was a perfect way to end the day. Bed is super comfy and the living space is as well. I highly recommend spending a few nights here, whether you are a tourist or a local. 15 October 2011 - 06:51:11

During our California visit, we had a short stay in Sonoma. This cottage was charming, inviting and so comfortable. All our needs were met here. Having bikes available to ride in town and explore the beautiful area was wonderful. The property was relaxing yet had an entertaining climate with well kept gardens and patio areas for outdoor enjoyment. We would recommend this for anyone seeking a clean, quiet, place to stay while visiting wine country. It's close to many vineyards, restaurants and shops. 16 July 2012 - 22:48:16

This cottage (a.k.a Clark's Little House) was definitely a highlight of our time in the beautiful Sonoma! My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights and I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Linda was wonderful to work with and had the place set up so beautifully for us when we arrived-- with a bottle of wine and two glasses sitting out on the table, and fresh flowers throughout! The place was absolutely perfect for us. Not only was it very reasonably priced, we had PLENTY of space for our needs. The separate living area is so nice to have, and the bedroom are bathroom are just what you need if not more! So cute and perfect. And, literally steps away was a tennis court-- which we did use and wish we could have even more! How cool! On top of that, there was a lot of wonderful outdoor space for us to sit and enjoy our coffee or the stars in the sky. And, the two bikes to use were so great to have-- we rode them into town after our first evening and had a wonderful dinner. I can't say enough great things about this place and if I ever get back to Sonoma (I hope so!), I wouldn't stay anywhere else but at Clark's Little House! Thank you for a wonderful stay, Linda! 01 October 2012 - 01:54:38

I'm so glad we found this gem of a cottage! So cute from the inside out and very very clean. Linda was great to work with in planning this trip, always quick to respond to emails and answer any of our questions. She even had a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. We took the two bikes Linda has into town a few times, but also enjoyed walking to the square. Can't wait to visit again!! Thanks for everything , Linda 13 April 2015 - 11:06:02

We had an amazing time at Clark's Little House. It's such a cute place! It had everything we needed. It was so quiet at night we slept like babies. Linda was delightful and couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely be staying there again. Thank you for everything Linda! 22 October 2017 - 22:23:00

I'm so happy we found this little cottage for our stay in Sonoma. Linda and her husband were absolutely wonderful hosts. The bikes were amazing and there are quite a few great wineries within biking distance as well as the square. Linda and her husband recommended a few and gave us excellent directions to some of their favorites. They were even kind enough to have a bottle of wine waiting for our arrival! I can't say enough great things about this space- it was the perfect rental for a romantic getaway for my boyfriend and I. I would HIGHLY recommend this cottage for anyone looking for a cute place to stay in Sonoma. 07 June 2016 - 15:52:08

My best friend and I rented this adorable cottage when we ran the Napa Sonoma half marathon together, and it was perfect for us and our needs. Nice chaises to lounge on after a hard morning of running and wine tasting, beautiful flowers and garden areas, and all around a great find. Thank you Linda! 28 July 2016 - 22:23:23

While travelling with my parents for a wine trip to California, I convinced them to try a rental instead of a hotel and found this adorable cottage. Located in Sonoma about a mile from the square, it was close to everything, had all the amenities I look for when travelling, a way to cook, coffee maker, outdoor space, refrigerator, wifi. We booked after talking to the owner, who was quick to answer questions and very accommodating. We plugged the address into GPS and found it with no problems, parked by the tennis courts and followed the path to a beautiful little cottage with a front porch and covered little court, through french doors into the living area where a bottle of wine and fresh flowers awaited on the table. French doors opened out onto a deck that was almost as large as the house with a table and chairs and comfortable chaise lounges under a pergola roof covered in grape vines. A second set of french doors, complete with screens opened off of the bedroom, with a large bathroom complete with shower stall and deep claw foot tub for a nice soak. The house is beautifully furnished with antiques and interesting pieces. The beds were very comfortable, my parents actually gave up a night in one of the winery guest houses to come back to the cottage because the bed was more comfortable. The main area has a twin size pull out couch that was comfortable as well, where I slept when my parents were at the cottage. We used the grill to make steaks and have a couple friends over one night on the large deck. The owner was so helpful, provided extra towels when we needed them, answered e-mails quickly while we were there, and stopped to make sure everything was okay. The price was so reasonable, it could easily rent for more and I am thankful we got the chance to stay here. If we return to Sonoma, I would definitely rent again. We told everyone that asked us where we were staying about this wonderful cottage and the owners, and I wish I could give it more stars. It was a truly great find and made our trip so much more enjoyable. Coffee on the deck in the morning while we checked e-mail and checked in at work, which by the way, wifi was great, strong, and had no problem with three or more devices running at once. If you get the chance, rent this adorable cottage and relax! 08 September 2016 - 14:23:20

Charming is the best word to describe this cottage. I couldn't have been more pleased upon arrival. The place is set in it's own private area from the main house, was as clean as can be, and a great amount of space for two. We took advantage of the bikes that are available to guests - a great mode of transportation for this adorable town. Even though we didn't see Linda because of the privacy she's created for the cottage guests, she was very easy to work with and always quick to respond. I would HIGHLY suggest this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat, with easy access into town (and nearby wineries!), a cozy feel, and an overall wonderful experience. I can't say enough positives about our stay! Thank you for hosting us, Linda. See you next time ;) 01 October 2015 - 02:56:31

Perfect location for a base camp for winery jumping in Sonoma. The cottage seemed so secluded and out of town, but was only a mile or so away from the square. The cottage was clean and comfortable. We will look to book again when we come back next year. 16 November 2017 - 01:52:00
