For most of the year we live in Hawaii and during that time we rent out our beautiful, comfortable, light and spacious 2 bedroom maisonette, which is available for weekly rental in the heart of charming and picturesque Primrose Hill Village, London. We find that its private and quiet location - whilst having direct access to all that London has to offer - is proving to be a real oasis in buzzing Central London. Our property is only a minute’s walk from a multitude of charming local shops, gastro-pubs, cafes and restaurants on England’s Lane and Primrose Hill Road. The weekly Organic Farmer’s Market is just a stone’s throw away. The affluent and fashionable neighborhood of Primrose Hill and Hampstead has an impressive historical track record of attracting prominent people in the Sciences, Literature, Arts, Media and Financial Sectors. Residents of this area enjoy the friendly, local shops and restaurants, however just as easily venture out further to enjoy world renowned Opera, Theater, Symphony Concerts, Museums, parks, restaurants and nightlife. The location is very green and quiet, yet the bus, the Tube (underground) and taxis are all very easily accessible.     We had an absolutely wonderful week in London, thanks in big part to our stay in this homey flat. The location could not have been better; on a quiet/lovely side street but just a few blocks in either direction of great restaurants and shops. The short walk to the tube and bus stops made getting around greater London a breeze. Our host was very accommodating throughout our stay and the flat had all the necessities and felt like a 2nd home.     The apartment was terrific. We loved having the bedrooms separate from the common living areas. The linens/towels were high quality and plentiful!     We fully enjoyed our stay here. The flat is cozy but very well arranged, with lovely furniture and good light. The location was perfect for usPrimrose Hill is a very nice neighborhood, and going into central London was quite easy with a 7-8 minute walk to the Northern Line tube. We were traveling with our 2 year old and Anouk was very kind in offering a crib for her, and in offering a couple of boxes of toys for us to use as wellwhen traveling with a child, such details really make a difference.     This apartment was a real find. Absolutely as shown in the photos on the website and well equipped for a perfect stay. Very comfortable bed in the main bedroom. I was concerned about heating as we stayed for nearly three weeks in December/January but we were cosy even during some really cold snaps. I was a bit put off when we first arrived as this is an ex housing commission property and the block of maisonettes is obviously still partly used for public housing which creates a downmarket impression in the entrance area and stairs, and some of the gardens at the rear (which can be seen from the apartment) are run down. However all the neighbors we met were charming and we never felt unsafe in the area. Be aware that there are four flights of stairs to negotiate to get to the front door, which is hard with heavy suitcases. It's worth finding out the Street number of the building in advance as well. We just had the name of the building, which has no Street number displayed, and cab drivers found it difficult to locate. These were all minor issues though, and I would certainly recommend the property without hesitation, and will stay here again if in London. Its location is far enough from the tourist nightmare of central London, but still quite convenient for theatres etc. we walked to the Camden Roundhouse and Camden markets. If the Swiss Cottage Tube is too far to walk there is a frequent bus to Swiss Cottage from the corner of the road.     We stayed at the Primrose Hill flat for five nights in early June 2016. We found the advertised description of the flat and amenities to be reflective of what we encountered upon arrival. The flat is two levels with the bedroom and bathroom(s) upstairs and the flat entry, kitchen and living room downstairs. From street level, you enter the foyer through the building's locked front door and then climb two floors (four flights of stairs) and access the flat from an outside walkway - something to consider if you have several suitcases. We were very busy each day in the neighbourhood or walking to Regent's Park or Camden Town or tubing to London. The location was excellent with short walking access to Belsize Park, Chalk Farm and Swiss Cottage tube stations. On our first evening after arriving we walked to Primrose Hill which has an amazing view of the London skyline. This really helped orient us for our outings the next number of days. Many locals were at the park that evening enjoying the views and having a picnic or glass of wine. We had breakfast in and when not having dinner out in London we tried several restaurants near to the flat - on Primrose Hill Road and Regent's Park Road. There is a small TESCO Express nearby for groceries and drinks. and it is open late. The Starbucks was handy too and busy on weekday mornings with people on the way to work or families on the way to school. The neighbourhood was quiet and safe and everyone we chatted with were very friendly and helpful. We particularly wish to thank Anouk for her communication before arriving and upon our arrival as our flight was late arriving and we got caught up in bad traffic. Through a few phone calls and texts, we figured out a creative plan to have the keys safely passed on to us so we could access the flat.     The apartment was comfortable and included everything needed for a family, in particular a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and all kitchen utensils. Both bedrooms and the living room and kitchen were spacious and pleasant and the location was convenient - close to the local supermarket and to the Tube's Chalk Farm and Swiss Cottage stations with easy links to most tourist locations.     Close to the tube, close to shopping, quiet, fully equipped, clean, close to Primrose Hill.. Listen, I am reluctant to go poetically beyond the facts because then you will all want to come and where will that leave us when we want to come back?     This property was perfect for us. Anouk was gracious and helpful, the tube was .4 away, a Starbucks was around the corner near a little grocery store, and it was near Primrose Hill Park.     We just came back from a fantastic trip to London. We absolutely loved the apartment, which truly is greatly located in the midst of Primrose Hill. It was so easy to get around, with the tube stops just a couple of blocks away and lots of taxis in the area. We also walked around the neighbourhood a lot, and enjoyed the parks. The apartment was great for a couple, but it could easily accommodate 4 people, including children. Everything was in excellent shape, clean, functional and very comfortable.     My husband, son and I recently returned from a delightful stay in this lovely maisonette in Primrose Hill. The apartment is exactly as described and more! The apartment is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and thoughtfully equipped with every possible amenity to make one's stay comfortable and easy. It is indeed light and airy; every room having large windows overlooking a quiet leafy street in this delightful area of London. The beds were exceedingly comfortable and the linens were fresh and of a high quality; bliss after a long flight! The apartment is so comfortable and pleasing, we had to remind ourselves to get out and see London! Fortunately it's just a short walk from two famous London parks, Primrose Hill and Regents Park, where we often walked in the evenings. Primrose Hill has a stunning view over the city of London and people gather there at night to watch the lights. England's Lane, Haverstock Hill and Regents Park Road (all within close walking distance) provide a wide range of excellent restaurants and coffee shops where we enjoyed delicious food and a variety of culinary desires, including exceptional crepes for breakfast! Should you wish to 'eat in' there are great local grocery stores within walking distance and the kitchen is exceedingly well equipped. Historic Hampstead is just one stop away on the tube. One time home of various artists and poets, it's the perfect place to spend a day exploring the homes, lanes, alleyways and picturesque old pubs. The maisonette is located in a beautiful, quiet and safe area of London, but is only a few minutes walk from two tube stations that will take you into the very center of London in approx. 15 minutes, to see all the sights. Two local bus lines, (only a minutes walk away), will also take you to the lovely local areas should you not wish to enjoy a walk. If all of this were not enough to recommend this rental as the perfect place to enjoy your trip to London, Anouk is an absolute treasure and delight. She facilitated every aspect of our visit, from welcoming, friendly and informative pre-visit emails (which I will miss), to a sunny, warm welcome upon arrival (complete with roses and a chilled bottle of wine), a comprehensive tour of the apartment (explaining every amenity from dishwasher to washing machine) and a map of the local area detailing places to eat, shop etc. Staying here made a wonderful visit, perfect: we will not consider anywhere else for future stays in London. 15 August 2012 - 03:29:19

    We recently stayed at this lovely flat in October (two couples and a 22 month old little boy). It was fantastic. The location was incredible. Between two tube stops (Jubilee and Northern Lines) you could essentially make it to any of the sites in Central London in about 12 minutes (the Tower was a bit longer at about 20, but it is further out anyway)- Wembley Stadium was about a 13 minute ride. Primrose Hill Park is a very short walk and so worth it. A Starbucks is about a 1 minute walk, as well as a grocery; the neighborhood was gorgeous and safe. The flat itself was perfect. Very comfortable and clean- all amenities were thought of- ice trays, water filter, water kettle, excellent wifi, plentiful hot water (all 4 of us could shower w/o anyone getting cold water), as well as a washer/dryer and dish washer. They also provided a baby cot, toys, high chair and baby dishes...what a thoughtful touch! Anouk was such a lovely host. Always prompt with her correspondence, and so nice in person! I would recommend this flat to any of my friends and only wish we could have stayed longer to explore the beautiful area.     My husband, 2 sons (14 and 9) and I stayed here for a week. It was just what I had hoped it would be from reading the listing. The location was perfect, on a quiet street but not far from anything. It made for a great base for exploring London - close to the tube but also lots to do within a short walk --- parks, neighborhoods, shopping. The flat itself was clean, very comfortable, and gave us enough space to stretch out a bit. Fully equipped kitchen, and the washer/dryer was really welcome.     We absolutely loved our stay at this property! It was spacious, with charming decor, and extremely comfortable for us (3 adults on business/holiday). This is one of our favorite London neighborhoods, and the flat is ideally located for all the nearby amenities of Camden, Primrose Hill, and Belsize Park - with food shops and a great selection of pubs and restaurants just a short walk away. Transport is a breeze, with Chalk Farm tube just down the road. The owner, Anouk, is so lovely and professional, and we appreciated her welcoming us personally to the property.     This flat is very tastefully decorated and was equipped with everything our party of four needed for one week. We were two adults and two children age 7 and 8. We enjoyed the decor and found the furnishings, towels and linens comfortable for us all. The location was a convenient short walk to two different tube lines and we used them both depending on our destination. Everything from the communications with the manager, arrival and directions on the electronics and Wifi was easy. The grocery store and Starbucks are around the corner. The manager also provided great recommendations for car service and other items. You will not be disappointed in this property! We will return on our next trip.     We selected this place because it fit our needs, but also mainly because of the responsiveness of the owner's representative, Anouk. She was very quick to respond to our email requests. Having never rented a flat in London before, we were not sure what to expect. The flat is a slightly uphill, 10 min. walk from the tube. While the building appears to be old (perhaps built in 50's), the flat is pleasantly updated with all you need for a comfortable stay. Our one issue was an oversight of no toilet paper or enough paper towels, but that was remedied with a short hike to the local market. Otherwise, the great washer and dryer came in very handy as we like to travel light and need to wash clothes often. There is also a lovely tea shop just down from the Starbucks we can recommend for a very pleasant weekend breakfast. We usually had breakfast in the flat before commencing on a hectic day of sight seeing. There is so much to see and the tube makes it all very convenient. The wifi worked great. The street was quiet at night and a great break from the craziness of touring London. A short walk away is Primrose Hill, which is a city park that overlooks everything, and gives a much better experience than the tacky ferris-wheel London eye. The area is very safe, and we enjoyed the walk to Camden - not far away is the very bohemian Stable market in Camden which is not to be missed on the weekend. 06 August 2014 - 15:34:46

    Our family of 3, including our 15 year old son, stopped in London for 4 days on our way home to California after a month in Africa--and this little home was our respite. It's exactly as described: full of light, well-equipped, very much a home away. Tube stops and buses in any direction you choose (we actually often found the buses more convenient, but Chalk Farm tube was our usual Underground stop) and walking at any time felt very safe. We made full use of the neighborhood amenities, all pointed out to us by Anouk, who met us an hour early for our check in after an 18 trip.     Our family of four stayed for four nights and did the London tourist stuff. This was a great location close to two tube stations. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. In the morning we walked down to the Chalk Farm tube stop and in the evening we went one more stop to Belsize Park where there are restaurants and a downhill walk home.     The apartment was perfect for our family of four. Our 2 boys each had their own twin bed in one room and we had a very comfortable king bed in ours. The 2 story apartment was very clean and beautiful! And it was so nice to have a washer and dryer-often not the case in the UK. The location near 2 tube stops was perfect as was the very cute area of Primrose Hill with many boutiques/shops/restaurants. It was fabulous to be in a non-touristy neighborhood but with such easy transportation by tube to anywhere we wanted to go! Anouk was lovely and very responsive. We will definitely recommend and hope to come back and stay again. Do not be put off by the entry to the building-the apartment more than makes up for it.
