We had a wonderful stay at the lake. The studio was super clean and had everything we needed. Some bonuses that were not mentioned in the description were that it had air conditioning, (window unit), a grill outside to use, kayaks, and lawn chairs to take in the sunsets. The studio is very tastefully decorated. The grounds are beautiful with a great lawn area and shade trees. If you enjoy taking a run, going for a walk or like bike riding, the road is good for that. A lot of people use the road for this, and it seems the local traffic is accommodating to the pedestrians. We can not overstate how clean the studio was. The Keurig coffee maker was great for our morning wake-up cup of coffee. There is plenty of dinnerware for breakfast and cooking on the grill. There is not a stove in the studio, but it does have a microwave. In combination with the grill, it's all that is needed. Only a 10 or 15 minute drive to the revitalized main street of St. Albans for some great shops and fantastic places for dinner and local brew. Some have live entertainment. The downtown is a great place for a stroll, it has a lot of charm. We had the pleasure of meeting the property owner, Jim. He is very welcoming, pleasant, and enjoyed having a chat with him. Sorry we missed meeting his wife, Liz, as she was not there at the time. To some it up, if you are considering this as a place to stay, I would not hesitate. We really enjoyed this place. I like to give honest reviews, good or bad, and I don't have a bad thing to say about my stay. 05 July 2017 - 00:00:00

Overall this rental was very clean and had anything needed for a comfortable and convenient stay, only issues I had was that the wifi was out of range so there was little to no connection in the residence. And also the entrance to the rental had a light above the entrance, which caused a swarm or bugs and Mosquitos to flock to the door naturally, a busted screen door had caused most of the swarm to hang out between the door and the screen, so you can't enter or exit at night without adding 50-100 new bugs into the studio 24 August 2017 - 00:00:00

Beautifully situated right on Lake Champlain. The little apartment is above the owner's garage. Convenient to Champlain Islands. About 30 minutes to Burlington. Very clean space. The roads near this property have beautiful visits, cornfields, cows in the broad Champlain Valley. 27 August 2017 - 00:00:00

On the plus side, there is much more cooking equipment than listed. A hot plate, 2 toasters, a blender as well as the grill and microwave listed. Everything was fine with the following exceptions. Only half roll of toilet paper when we arrived and no other on the premises. We ran out of hot water and only as we were leaving did we see a small card tacked to the wall at the bottom of the stairs instructing us to turn the water heater on and off arriving and leaving. That should be in a much more prominent place and also in the written house instructions. 05 September 2017 - 15:11:00
