This apartment is an absolute must! This was our 5th time in Paris and our 2nd apartment rental. I've never felt the true passion and feeling that Paris had to offer before staying in this apartment and area. Everything was absolutely perfect. Thank you for a romantic getaway Stephan. We'll be back! 17 August 2017 - 14:11:00

We stayed eight nights at Les Toits d'Notre Dame and wish we could have stayed longer. The flat is on the 6th floor of a charming building with an elevator. An elevator for one person and one piece of luggage as it is very small but never had a problem. The flat itself is very artistically appointed and has everything one needs. A microwave and small refrigerator, a washer/dryer, a very nice shower with good water pressure and a murphy bed which was very comfortable for us. It also has a small balcony which is nice at the end of a long day walking to sit at have a glass of wine and unwind. The location could not be better...steps to Notre Dame which if you go when it opens has no lines. We walked right in but by ten o'clock the lines were already very long. We also walked to the Louve, Museum de l'Orangerie, the Museum d'Orsay......just a great location to go to many of the places we wanted to see and enjoy. Cafes and restaurants are everywhere and there is a very good bakery just minutes to the right of the entrance that we enjoyed going to each morning and bringing back something delicious to enjoy before we stated our day. We did not meet Stephen but his associate Diana met us at the flat and gave us our key and showed us how everything worked and she was very helpful. There was a lovely bottle of wine waiting for us which we enjoyed. We would hope someday to return to Paris and this very flat as truly it could not have been a better experience for our stay in Paris. 16 August 2017 - 09:42:00

We loved our stay at this apartment. It was in the perfect location to walk to most major attractions, and was very close to the Siene which made travel to the further attractions very simple as well. The apartment was very clean and accommodating, and was the perfect size for the two of us. 08 August 2017 - 17:55:00

We chose Les Toits de Notre Dame because it had really good reviews. We were not disappointed! It was such a cute, cozy apartment, close to many wonderful sites in Paris. It was great for two people, and Stephan was very pleasont and helpful. I only wish we could have stayed longer. 07 October 2017 - 21:38:00

Location: The location of the studio is, in our opinion, perfect. You are close to the Marais District which is super fun; a block from the Seine River; next door Ile Saint Louis which has excellent restaurants and shops; within walking/biking distance to nearly all of the tourist sites/areas; and very close to St- Germain-des-Pres which is a great old neighborhood. Oh, any the Notre-Dame cathedral is nearly next door! There are several excellent restaurants/bistros/boulangeries immediately outside the front door which is super convenient! Well Appointed Studio: The studio has everything you need (except an iron..which may be there, but we couldn't find it and decided we didn't care.) It's creatively decorated and light and airy. The shower was excellent! We also enjoyed the nespresso machine, complimentary bottle of wine and water. The studio is not large, but there is plenty of room for a couple and the use of space is great. We especially appreciated the large windows that open to small terraces. Also, there is an elevator! The studio is on the sixth floor so this is nice. Many apartments in Paris do not have lifts, btw. Great Host: Stephan was great. He met us at the apartment as planned, showed us around, gave us his recommendations for restaurants/activities and arranged for a car to the airport on our day of departure. We didn't need to contact him again during our stay, but we felt confident that if we had needed help, he would have helped us. We would definitely stay there again. Stephan also noted that he has three other studio apartments in Paris. I'd be curious to know where those are because he is a great host. 04 October 2017 - 15:55:00

We just returned from spending 4 nights at Les Toits De Notre-Dame! Stephan is a gracious host. He waited for our arrival, as it took 3 hours for us to get thru immigration. The apartment has everything you need you need to have a comfortable stay in Paris. Appliances are new but still retains the charm of a Parisian studio. We sat outside on the small balcony almost every night and had a glass or 2 of wine. Loved listening to the bells from Notre Dame. They stop during the night. It is very quiet during sleeping hours. 27 September 2017 - 12:55:00

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We stayed 4 nights. The location can't be beat. We walked all over from here and getting Ubers from here was simple. The small balconies were great and the large windows allowed us great open air views of the Hotel-de-Ville. The owner - Stephane - was great. Comfortable for LGBT travelers as well. The only thing we would add - for Americans - is that we would classify this as a studio not a 1 BR. There was enough room for the 2 of us, and we really enjoyed the pace, but it is pretty much just one open room with a separate bathroom. 29 May 2016 - 15:52:07

My husband and I have stayed in Paris several times before, but this is the best stay by far. The owner, Stephane is efficient and very helpful - met us on time as planned and organised a uber car to airport for us. Apartment is 2 minutes walk to Notre Dame and central to so many places in Paris. Location is perfect. The studio Apartment is light & airy, on 6th floor, WITH ELEVATOR, little balconies with rooftop views. Well appointed and decorated with all mod cons, incl wifi & English language TV. Washing machine/dryer very handy. Coffee machine. Bed comfortable and very easy to convert to day lounge. Can thoroughly recommend - congratulations Stephane! 02 June 2016 - 06:26:41

Yes, there are souvenir shops everywhere, but the fact that you get to actually enter the building as your apartment during your stay is a game-changer. You are living like a local, walking to the wonderful restaurants in the immediate neighborhood or to the shops across the bridge for groceries. I really got a sense of how wonderful it would be to live there! Bathroom is spotless and fixtures are nicely updated. Water pressure is very good, and the hot gets very hot. I didn't do any cooking there, but I did enjoy the Nespresso machine every morning. Bed is VERY comfortable! Two of the things that made this apartment absolutely magical for me: 1) the view of he rooftops from the balconies couldn't be more perfect perfectly Parisian and 2) the church bells added, yet, another storybook element to the experience there. I fell in love with the city of Paris, and I loved "coming home" to Les Toits De Notre-Dame. 22 September 2017 - 03:31:00

While Paris by any measure is a magical place, the charm and convenience of this perfect little apartment only enhanced the experience. From the comfort to the thoughtful touches by the owner (including offering to arrange my pick-up at the airport!), it was by far the most pleasant place I have ever stayed in Paris. Mornings watching the sun rise, and evenings the sun set, on the most perfect little balcony. Despite its location, it was peace itself, only heightened by the ringing of the Notre Dame bells. Walking distance to major spots, easy access to public transportation, great restaurants, etc. Can't imagine anywhere else I would want to stay if I find myself in Paris again. Thank you, Stephan, for a wonderful experience. 10 August 2016 - 15:38:28

I don't have a lot to add that other reviews haven't referenced, but Stephan was so helpful and accommodating that I felt the need to add my voice to the chorus of positive reviews. The space is small, but not too small - ideal for a couple. The balconies are tiny, but perfect in that way that Paris balconies are. The location is fantastic for exploring the city on foot. The icing on the cake is the kitchenette with washer/dryer; when we were not dining out we assembled "picnics" from the open markets around the city and spent many hours on the balcony enjoying the tastes of France. We spent three lovely nights here and eagerly look forward to returning. 25 August 2016 - 16:41:56

My husband and I stayed here for a total of 8 nights in April 2017 while visiting Europe and it was our favorite lodging of our trip! The apartment was spacious and clean. The bed was so comfortable (seriously!) and we really appreciated the large shower as most of the other places we stayed had very, very small showers. The view from the balcony breathtaking. Watching the sunrise on our first morning was magical, hearing the bells from the churches. You can't hear any noise from the streets and the curtains block out the light if needed. Logistically, it is situated very conveniently near the Notre Dame and the Metro/RER, as well as a taxi line, though we were able to walk easily to most of the major sights. Stephan was very hospitable and quick to respond to any communication, accommodating for our late arrival on the Easter holiday after a delay in our train. Overall- we absolutely loved this apartment and would stay here again in a heartbeat! 22 April 2017 - 21:13:00

Stephan, Margo and I had a great time in Paris. Thanks for being a gratuitous host. The apartment is close to everything and within steps of the RER for easy access to all of Paris. The accommodations are small but very comfortable and charming. Great view from the terrace and listening to the bells of ND. Great food in the area as well. 13 November 2017 - 15:19:00

Very secure and only half a block from Notre Dame. Two small balconies with roof-top view of Right Bank. Cash withdrawal on sidewalk to left of front door. Sidewalk souvenirs on d'Acole have better selections than most other places around Paris. Bed was very comfortable. Instant coffee provided to get you started. Also tea bags. Small market around the corner for necessities such as paper towels, coffee, milk, water and sodas. Lovely decor and clean apartment. Stephen Patrix was very responsive in helping us with a few problems we had adjusting to our new environment after a long overnight flight. Great little apartment for no more than two people. 31 May 2016 - 09:32:00

I loved everything about this apartment. The location is so convenient -- we caught public transportation from Orly, we walked everywhere, and we hopped on the Metro whenever we pleased. It was such a dream to wake up to the Notre Dame church bells and sit on our balcony with our pastries. The apartment is adorable. The bed was really comfortable, the shower worked well, the heaters worked perfectly, WiFi was perfect. I loved everything. We felt so honored to stay there. Thank you for the bottle of wine! 27 November 2017 - 14:27:00

This is a top floor cozy apartment near Notre Dame. Beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, kitchen and clean, modern bathroom. Loved it and would go back. 09 December 2017 - 15:12:00

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location couldn't be better and it has great views of the city from the top floor. The lift is tiny so you should expect to be huffing it up 6 flights of stairs if you're more than 1. The apartment itself was a small studio but very well decorated and maintained so much better than a hotel room in my opinion. I couldn't find an iron and there wasn't any place to hang clothes in case you're traveling with fancier items that require a wrinkle-free presentation. 06 January 2018 - 16:54:00

Enjoyed our stay in this well designed Parisian Pied a Terre. Location is ideal as you can easily walk to both the Marais and the Sixieme and being right next to Notre Dame you have the joy of hearing the bells! Lovely bathroom, room is open to the light and views and a small kitchenette and washing machine/dryer makes it ideal for short stays. Thoughtful host provides Nespresso machine and pods and was happy to provide any help needed. 25 January 2018 - 20:30:00
