Condo 302 is located in a new 5 storey exclusive building. Stylish crown molding, marble and tile throughout, airy French doors opening onto a juliette balcony, beautiful shutters to adjust the light within, the Condo is classic architecture with contemporary style. Our location is steps to the wonderful Jean Talon Market, "the Marche", Canada's famous Old World Market. This entire city block invites you to savour the flavours of Quebec: breads, cheeses, produce, meats and sweets. The vendors beckon "'Try this', 'Taste this...right now', 'Take this home for dinner tonight', 'Bonne journee'." Immerse yourself in an everyday life that is, somehow, different. Feel the steady pulse, the gentle rhythm of our Nord Villeray neighbourhood, Montreal's next upscale area. Those who love food come here often. Our 976 square foot condo is tastefully furnished with down sofas, excellent beds, dining table and chairs for six, two separate desks and additional casual seating. The kitchen and bath are generously equipped for your everyday living while away. Dormier wool mattress covers, luxury cotton sheets and towels, Denby and china dinnerware, pottery and assorted sizes of wine glasses are provided. Soaps for your personal, kitchen and laundry needs are supplied. Cool in summer, warmed by the gas fireplace in winter, Condo 302 provides classic comfort, quiet and privacy. It is the place from which to venture out and return home to at the end of the day. Elevator access is via the below ground parking garage (designated space provided, remote control access) or from the Lobby entrance at street level. To explore Montreal using public transit, walk 30 seconds to the de Castelneau Metro Station or catch Bus 55 to the top of Old Montreal. Either way, public transit access is excellent. STM 'OPUS' passes are available from us. Step out in any direction to enjoy the love of food in many languages in the local bistros and restaurants. Stroll across the boulevard to enjoy a walk around the lake or through the pleasant spaces of Jarry Park. Perhaps you are en route to play a game of indoor tennis at the Rogers Centre, open year round, or to attend the Rogers Cup Tennis Tournament in August. Rent a 'Bix' bike and pedal the neighborhood streets. On rue de Castelneau, venture into little specialty shops and, for a moment...step inside the church L'Eglise St.Cecile, the Patron Saint of Music. Visit village shops in Little Italy right here at boulevard St. Laurent and rue Jean Talon, or travel further east to shop both sides of rue St. Denis and rue St. Hubert. You have the exclusive use of the Condo, to come and go as you wish. You are invited to make 'comme chez nous'... to feel at home. It will be our pleasure to arrange your stay. We stayed in Condo 302 for 3 weeks during the Christmas holidays while visiting our daughter and her family. This condo was wonderful! Excellent location....the metro was located at the end of the block so it was very easy to travel to other parts of the city, Jeri Park was less than one block away (we have visited this park in all seasons of the year and it is one of the most beautiful parks in the city!) and the marche just a 5 minute walk. There are also many wonderful little restaurants in the area for those evenings that you don't feel like going dowtown or cooking at home. The condo was spacious, clean and had everything we needed to feel at home! The manager was very friendly and always available to answer any questions. Can't say enough good things about our experience in Condo 302...we will definitely be back! 10 February 2013 - 16:54:48

The condo was perfect for our family of four, which includes two teenagers. The condo condition was excellent and very clean. We did not take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen, but we did make use of the full-sized washer and dryer. The room is well stocked with necessities, and includes a decent sized collection of tourism brochures and maps. I chose this location because of its proximity to the subway and the private parking space in the underground garage. We left our van in the garage nearly the entire visit and used the subway to conveniently explore downtown Montreal. The subway station is only a 60 second walk from the front door of the building, and only a small side street needs to be crossed. Plenty of local restaurants nearby, and a wonderful large park across the street that is great for walking or running at anytime of day or night. The neighborhood felt very safe. 21 July 2010 - 17:43:06

This apartment is in a very convenient location to the bus and the metro. A few of the advantages to staying here (1) Reserved parking space in a locked garage (2) A couple of blocks walk from one of the largest farmer's market in Montreal (fresh fruits, veges and bread everyday) (3) Lora, the apartment manager, is very helpful and lives in the condo right next door. Everything was clean when we arrived. The bathroom and kitchen were well appointed--everything you would need to cook a meal for a group. You are also next door to Little Italy if you chose to go out. We were concerned that this was a bit of a distance from downtown but this was not an issue. The owner of the condo was also very responsive to our emails. Highly recommended for a family, couple or singles. 24 August 2010 - 00:10:06

I had gone to Montreal to attend the congress and had a very comfortable stay at the condo 302. Every thing was completely clean and excellent. The bus stop and metro station is surprisingly close to the condo and you can reach every where very soon. Lora; the manager is so helpful and good tempered also Susan; the owner has a high degree responsibility to provide the requirements. Overall I highly recommend this apartment for the short accommodation in Montreal. 14 September 2010 - 08:15:07

You wont find a cleaner, better equipped, or more reasonably priced VRBO than this one. From the minute we contacted Susan (the owner) via email, who was very responsive and kept us apprised prior to, during, and after our arrival, and met Lora, the very helpful and pleasant condo manager, we knew this would be a different experience. The unit is located a short one minute walk from the Metro and bus stops. Taking either will connect or transport you to any part of the city in minutes. This unit is located in an attractive residential part of the city, adjacent to Little Italy and Jarry Park. Upon arrival, the unit was exceptionally clean and comfortable, well stocked with towels, paper products, all kitchen cooking/eating necessities, and bus plans of the city. Appliances are all top line items. They even provides green shopping bags and a grocery pull cart for your larger shopping errands. The fantastic Jean Talon Market and Premiere Moisson Bakery is a mere five minute walk. Indescribable - you must experience both. There are plenty of excellent, reasonably priced restaurants located in the neighborhood (including Mottas, a dual eat-in Italian restaurant and prepared foods take-out deli/grocery store and bakery adjacent to the Market). And they make the worlds best cannoli. A very large Loblaws supermarket (even stocking the select brand of coffee I use at home) is just one Metro stop distant. Joes Deli (Deli Joe in French), four minutes walking, will get you through a great tasting egg breakfast at a reasonable price, until youve had a chance to shop. To get there, we took the Express 747 bus from the airport to the central bus terminal, went underground to the Metro (Berri-UQAM) for six stops to Jean Talon, connected with a second Metro for one stop (to Le Castelneau), and had a one minute walk to the condo. It doesnt get easier than that. As repeat visitors to Montreal since 1983, weve watched the city develop over the years and eagerly anticipate every visit. Up until this 2011 summer trip, weve always stayed in hotels. No more. We heartily recommend this unit for your visit to Montreal. Well be staying there again. 06 September 2011 - 22:05:48

Perfect for our holiday!!!! This tastefully decorated condo was very quiet and more spacious than we expected. There is plenty of room in the state of the art kitchen to prepare meals, and the dining room seats everyone comfortably. The beds were very comfortable and the tub(separate from shower) was luxurious!! The condo was immaculate and supplied with everything you would need, other than personal items. The owner and manager were very friendly and helpful, and offered many tips on places to see and how to get there. Underground heated free parking in winter was a true perk! We made use of the metro and buses or walked the entire time we were there. The Jean Talon Market is always a treat, as are shoe and clothing shopping in Little Italy and on rue St. Hubert. We watched skaters, tobogganers and cross country skiers in Parc Jarry. There is so much to see and do it is difficult to know where to begin. We loved this place, and have been raving about it to all of our friends and relatives. We're looking forward to being able to visit again. 04 January 2012 - 23:52:24

We (couple over 50) rented the condo for 9 nights in February 2012 and enjoyed staying there very much. It is clean, extremely comfortable, with every convenience and ideally situated near public transport, shops and the Jean Talon Market. The owner and the caretaker were very helpful and considerate. We wholeheartedly recommend this condo. 27 February 2012 - 15:55:57

I have rented from several VRBO owners before, and I can honestly say that this unit was by far the cleanest I have been to (and I have very high standards for cleanliness!). The unit was spotless, the furnishings were modern, and it honestly looked much nicer than in the pictures (and it already looks good in the pictures). The owners provided tons of towels, blankets, bed sheets, cooking utensils and serving supplies, etc. (But if you want to cook, you will need to provide your own oil, condiments, etc. It only has salt and pepper for your cooking needs). The owner Susan was INCREDIBLY responsive to email and accommodating to our group. She coordinated very well with the property manager, Lora, who is incredibly kind and tries to be as helpful as possible. Quick note about the garage: the entrance to the garage is pretty steep and the parking spot would only fit a compact car. Re: location of the unit, it's about a 15 minute drive from the downtown area, but if you're literally only using the condo to sleep and relax like we did, that shouldn't be a problem. The subway stop is right outside, and the 55 bus also picks up right outside and takes you straight to Notre Dame. (I recommend the one-day unlimited pass for your sightseeing days, Lora can provide you with OPUS passes to borrow to save money). 26 March 2012 - 03:31:48

My husband and I stayed in this wonderful condo for 4 days over the Canada Day weekend. The condo was located steps away from the Metro in a quiet and secure building. We parked our car in the underground parking space provided and left it there during our stay. We love to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. We travelled to the Atwater Market by Metro and walked to the Jean Talon Market. My husband and I travel to Montreal 2 to 3 times a year. It was great to stay at this condo and experience all that Little Italy has to offer. Lora, the manager of the condo, lives right next door and is available should you need anything. Susan, the owner of the condo, made the booking process simple. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking to visit Montreal. Rose and Dave 04 July 2012 - 21:37:41
  10. We rented this exceptionally clean and comfortable condo from Susan for two nights in August 2012. It is very spacious (the photos don't capture this), light, comfortable and immaculate. Two very comfy queen beds in the large bedroom, with a desk and computer for internet access. Laundry facility en suite! Fully equipped kitchen, too, which is a great option considering close-by Jean-Talon market is full of wonderful ingredients for your breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. Indoor parking included. Elevator means condo fully accessible. We spent the two days right in the Petit Patrie neighborhood (for the Rogers Cup tennis at nearby Jarry Park), but the Metro stop is only doors away from the building entrance, making access to all of Montreal incredibly easy. There's also the option of the 55 St-Laurent bus stopping across the street to take you downtown above ground through the fascinating Plateau neighborhood, thru Chinatown and right into Old Montreal (highly recommended ride!) Susan and Lora are incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Everything was as described. Expectations exceeded! We heartily recommend this apartment for your next trip to Montreal. 16 August 2012 - 16:12:25
  11. You'd be unlikely to find accomodations this nice for the price anywhere else in Montreal. Clean, modern and appealing decor in a unit larger than expected. Incredible food is just steps away in Little Italy restaurants and the Jean-Talon Market. Ideal for car free travel. We drove to Montreal, but parked our car in the secure underground garage until the day of departure. De Castelnau Metro is 1 1/2 (small) blocks south. The Orange Line (direct route to Old Montreal) is one station east & the communter trains at Parc (to Bell Centre) are one station west. Would definitely return here in the future. 20 August 2012 - 22:35:35

We stayed with our 2 teenage boys for 3 nights at Condo 302 recently. It was the most comfortable stay ever! The listing description accurately matched the location and amenities. The place was bigger and better than the pictures. It was super clean and very well maintained. Every little detail had been taken care of - from the jar of soaps in the bathroom to the jar of tea bags in the kitchen. We were very impressed with the prompt email responses we got for all our queries, from the owner. So was the manager who was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely recommend this place to friends and relatives. The best part was the proximity to the Jean Talon Marche - we could just walk down there in the mornings and pick up some wonderful fruits and fresh bread and to the subway station which was just by the condo. 31 August 2012 - 03:36:41

We are a family of four and stayed here for two nights. The apartment is really nice. Quiet, comfortable and the walk in shower and big tub in the bathroom are extra bonuses. Kitchen has everything you need and they supply tea and coffee, which was a really nice touch. The area is also great-easy walks to the park, Jean Talon market and the metro is literally steps away. We would come back again for sure. 15 April 2013 - 13:59:59

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely, fully equipped and well situated condo. The condo is not only well furnished, it is well stocked with very thoughtful and utilitarian items. The beds were comfortable, and the linens which were provided were more than ample. We really appreciated having the shopping carts and re-usable shopping bags. The property owner and the on-site condo manager were most helpful and accomodating. We will return. 12 July 2013 - 18:43:53

This is the second time that my husband and I have stayed at this condo in Little Italy. The booking process is relatively simple. Laura, the manager of this specific condo, lives in the building. She is a very pleasant, helpful and likeable person. Laura stopped by to check on us and to ask if we needed anything. The condo is located steps away from the subway and we had no problems getting around Montreal even during a winter storm. The Jean Talon market is a few blocks away and has a wide variety of fruit, vegetables and other delicious foods. We will definitely return to this condo. 14 March 2014 - 22:01:02

I have stayed at three vacation condo rentals in Montreal and this was the best one. Here is why I like it: -Quiet. I am a light sleeper and so this is very important to me. At another condo rental (a townhouse), the owner and his family lived in the floor above me. They got up every morning at 6:30am and it was impossible to sleep through. -Great furniture and appliances. It has a washer/dryer and a dishwasher, so you dont need to waste any time going to a Laundromat or washing dishes. You can focus on your vacation. -Five minute walk to Jean Talon Market. The Jean Talon Market is awesome: fresh fish, organic meat of all types (chicken, turkey, beef, etc.), and bakeries. I wish I ate that well at home. -Five minute walk to a supermarket. If you need something that isnt at the Jean Talon Market (ie. ziplock bags), it is close by. -Nearby restaurants. (It is in Little Italy.) -Two minute walk to a Metro Station. -Two minute walk to a great park. I stayed there for four weeks and will definitely stay there again. 28 October 2014 - 20:29:53
