WHEN BOOKING APARTMENT ALWAYS CHECK TUBE LINES. PICCADILLY FOR ALL THEATERS, DISTRICT AND CIRCLE FOR SHOPPING & SIGHTSEEING. SO IMPORTANT! 49 BUS (4 min walk) TAKES YOU TO WESTFIELD'S MULTIMILLION POUND SHOPPING CENTRE PASSING KENSINGTON HIGH ST & HYDE PARK ON THE WAY KITCHEN WITH OVEN AND CERAMIC HOB PLUS A NEW WET ROOM/WALK-IN SHOWER ONLY 5 MINUTES WALK TO GLOUCESTER RD TUBE!! SUPERB SAFE AREA WITH PRETTY GATED GARDEN OPPOSITE WIFI IS INCLUDED AS WELL AS ALL THE UTILITY BILLS!! ALL INCLUSIVE - NO EXTRAS £500 damage deposit, returned on day of departure. This quiet light bright two double bedroom property is located on the lower ground floor of a Victorian conversion. The apartment consists of a comfortable spacious living room with feature skylights, MODERISED kitchen with integrated appliances including dishwasher, washing machine, clothes-dryer, microwave, fridge oven & ceramic hob, toaster, kettle, cutlery, central heating etc. There is also a TV and DVD player with miscellaneous CDs and DVDS as well as its own book collection, so you can curl up with a novel on cosy sofas after a day’s sight-seeing. *The rental price is inclusive of all electricity and heating charges, council tax, towels, sheets and linen and also staples in the kitchen (tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper)* Indeed this inclusive rate is unusual for a London apartment as most charge extra for taxes etc. There are two compact double bedrooms with comfortable double beds. The wet room is new and it's fantastic! The second bedroom is the bedroom I was using when the photographer came (hence slightly creased bedclothes!!) It also has a small TV in this bedroom. This room has a door leading to outside space. The outside space is small, but very useful for laundry purposes. Bookings may begin on the afternoon of the departure date of a previous guest. However, if you have bags, you are welcome to drop them off earlier while the flat is being cleaned. Access from Heathrow Airport couldn't be easier; take the tube directly to Gloucester Road on the Piccadilly Line, with no changes required. Takes about forty minutes. From Gatwick, the Gatwick Express leaves every fifteen minutes to Victoria station which is fifteen minutes away by cab to the flat or 3 straight tube stops to Gloucester Rd tube. Or we have a driver who will pick you up from Heathrow. His charges are:- £48 pick up from any terminal. £38 to drop off. Location can not be beaten (check my reviews) with just a few minutes walking distance to Natural History Museum, V&A or catch a concert at the Albert Hall home to the Proms, the world’s great classical music festival. Most important is the closeness to the tube with West-end theaters 15 mins tube ride. It's only a 5 minute walk to Hyde Park as well as Kensington High St. I must stress that when staying in London, location, location and location is of the utmost importance and having 3 central tube lines will get you anywhere you need to get to in London without having to change lines. Knightsbridge is close by with the famous Harrods, it's only a 5 minutes walk to Gloucester Rd tube. The 49 bus (3 mins walk from the flat) takes you to the new billion pound shopping complex Westfield, passing Kensington High St on the way. There are many international restaurants and bars in the area. Quality shopping at Waitrose and nearby Sainsburys supermarkets. Check in 4pm - checkout 10am. We will be on hand to meet and show you how everything works in the apartment. We will happily answer your questions and fulfil you requests in any way we can and can also hire you a car and driver to take you to and from the airport if required. Our property manager, David lives in London and he will share his knowledge with you.

Great find and a short walk to the most convenient tube line, Gloucester Road eateries, upscale surroundings, and close proximity to grocery stores is worth a stay. Julie was most accommodating with our travel requests and a pleasure to work with. She recommended Andy to pick us up from the train station and to drop us off at the airport and it removed any stress either in arriving or departing!! The flat was great, but we had to get used to small washer/dryer and length of time to complete cycle time, especially for the dryer. The biggest challenge was in the small efficiency kitchen and it can use a good update. We were advised when we arrived that the stove would be replaced and it should be done quickly. Some of the pots and pans were great, but others not. A good frying pan at a minimum. Even with the few challenges, we would certainly come back to this location for our next visit. 30 May 2015 - 13:30:44

I had a wonderful time in London and for only a short time got to see a lot of it in 5 clear days due to the Location of Julies apartment, it has two major tube lines (Piccadilly & District) from Gloucester Road metro station which travel through the heart and center of London and the West-End. The Flat is Bright and spacious, very clean and has everything you could ask for. Its well maintained and the appliances are simple to use, having been instructed how to use the washer on a 30 mini wash and the TV with its two remotes. Wifi is high speed so even better and easy to use/connect. I took advantage of the Driver Andy who was delightful, he made contact with David who was checking us in as My phone would not connect at first, David met us there and showed around, he showed how everything works... Julie has a great system in place and the team make you feel real welcome. 10 June 2015 - 15:16:05

I had a fantastic time staying at this apartment in Cornwall Gardens. It has everything you need, it is spotless and nice and light. A perfect place to relax and enjoy London. The tube station is extremely close and there are lots of places to eat and drink nearby. I also enjoyed a very short walk to the Science and Natural History Museum. I will definitely stay again!! 22 June 2015 - 11:14:10

We had a wonderful time in this flat, it is clean bright and airey, and we felt very comfortable and at home. It is in a great area, quick easy walk to the tube station, loads of good places to eat near by and so central for everywhere we wanted to visit while in London. Really couldn't find any fault with either the accommodation or the position, we would certainly stay again if it is free next time we want to visit London . 02 July 2015 - 18:17:52

We stayed here for a week for our first trip to London. The flat is in a nice neighborhood and very convenient with a tube station a short walk away as well as grocery shopping within walking distance also. I really enjoyed all of the natural lighting. Julie was very helpful arranging the reservation and David was great showing us around the apartment when we arrived. Checkout was quick and easy. We would love to stay here again without question in the future if we get a chance to come back. 09 August 2015 - 02:20:47

Julie, David and Andrew helped make our stay at this lovely apartment easy and enjoyable. Communication was terrific and all involved were truly interested in helping us make the most of our stay. The location near Gloucester Road Underground Station was perfect! It seemed we never had to transfer lines to reach our tourist destinations. The good news about the skylights is that they make this apartment so bright and open; the bad news is, with a skylight directly above your bed, better bring a sleep mask unless you really want to wake up at 4:00 am! 09 August 2015 - 21:42:07
  7. Julies flat was brilliant, light and airy with a comfortable feel to it... really felt like home! I was lucky enough to have a couple of days with good weather in which I spent time in the communal gardens directly across the road from the apartment The beds are comfortable and because of the location of the apartment it was also very quiet, I am a light sleeper but had no problem here. The tube is less than a 6 minute walk and great for the Heathrow or Central London I will be back for sure 24 August 2015 - 17:52:02

... to stay in a really lovely neighborhood in Kensington! Unbelievable to find such a quiet location in such a big city. Opposite a nice garden (you get in there with the key in the flat), nice streets around with beautiful houses, nice restaurants, museums to visit, our favorite pub, supermarkets like Waitrose around the corner, , tube station too - it's perfect. We stayed in Julie's flat with our teenage sons one week and loved every minute there. Kitchen and bathroom is not big, but nice and usefully equipped, a drawing-/living room big enough for four, two small bedrooms, cupboards, closets. Everything is clean, bright, useful, nice to be there. We felt like real Londoners to live in this area, much nicer than in hotel rooms. Sometimes we cooked some pasta or had our breakfast at home. Julie answered every question patiently and immediately, recommended Andy to pick us up at the airport - he was there in time, very polite, very funny, well informed and had a big nice car to bring us to the flat, showing us the location around for the first time. Later on David visited us and told our boys everything you need to know living there. We had a great time in London, a polite host in Julie, a comfortably flat for the four of us. Perfect! Thanks to Julie, also to Andy and David! 29 August 2015 - 19:58:12

Our family of four stayed here for two weeks for our first real look at London. We could not have chosen a better location for sightseeing: buses and the tube station (3 lines) were only a few minutes walk away. Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park and the Victoria and Albert Museum were all just a leisurely stroll. South Kensington itself is an affluent neighbourhood with attractive terrace houses in a range of architectural styles, so it is an enjoyable experience just to walk around the streets admiring them, discovering little shops and pubs and churches along the way. Supermarkets, restaurants and cafes are within easy walking distance. The apartment itself is clean and comfortable, just spacious enough for the four of us, and had everything we needed. Julie responded to our inquiries promptly and helpfully. I happily recommend her apartment. 14 October 2015 - 02:19:20

My husband and I stayed in the apartment for a week. It was bright and comfortable in a quiet location and beautiful neighbourhood, close to the underground, shops, pubs and restaurants. Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park are close by and great for jogging. We felt safe and enjoyed walking a lot of the time instead of taking the underground. I would recommend the apartment and stay there again if we were back in London. 09 November 2015 - 04:08:11

Julie and the team were absolutely superb during our stay. Everything was made easy before we arrived and the flat and location made our stay in London so easy. We will definitely be coming back to stay here next time. 07 February 2016 - 20:55:03

My husband, son and I stayed in this beautiful flat for a week. As stated by others, the location cannot be beat! You are in one of the nicest areas of London. The flat is right near two excellent tube stations, fantastic shops on Walton Street, lots of wonderful restaurants, and the Natural History and V&A Museums. We thoroughly enjoyed being able to use the private park with all of the flowers coming into bloom at this time of year. Having the living space and the separate bedrooms really made the week enjoyable and relaxing for our family. I was quite taken with the high ceilings and skylights in the main living area - the flat has a clean and contemporary vibe. Andy took us to and from the airport. He is just the best! We initially were going to take the Heathrow Express, but after comparing the price for a family of three, Andy is the way go! Props to Julie, who went above and beyond to make our stay absolutely perfect! 28 March 2016 - 01:36:04

Julie's flat was perfect for our family's first visit to London. It is very clean and in a safe area with many amenities nearby. Due to jet lag, the convenient location meant we can come back for naps before heading out again. We were there in winter for 5 nights, and the flat felt very cosy and warm. The facilities provided also allowed us to do "homely" things like cook our own breakfasts and laundry. Julie was a pleasure to communicate with, before, during and after our stay. My son had a bleeding nose in his sleep on our last night, which soiled the pillowcase. Julie was fair in the amount deducted from our bond, and she was prompt in refunding the balance. There's still so much of London to see, and if we are back someday, we will definitely stay here again. 08 June 2016 - 06:18:23

Wonderful location right by the tube and the neighborhood was great. We stayed with our almost 2 year old baby so it was perfect with the two bedrooms, washer and dryer and kitchen. Loved the location and would book again! Nothing fancy about the flat but doesn't matter when you're out and about exploring all day anyways. 28 November 2016 - 20:27:04

This warm and cosy two bedroom apartment was ideally located in Kensington London. The closest tube station Glouster Road was a 5 minute walk and the Natural History Museum, Science Museum and Victoria and Albert Museum were all only a 15 minute walk. The apartment larder was well stocked with essentials and the kitchen was very functional. The owner was always very responsive to any email queries and the driver she recommends picked us up from and droped us back to Heathrow airport....we were very happy with this service. Overall I would highly recommend this apartment. 28 February 2017 - 10:18:00

I stayed here with my three teenage daughters. The apartment was clean, comfortable and in a great location. Close to the tube stop and many restaurants and shops. Safe and clean area. The apartment is bright, well-decorated and sleeps four comfortably. The owner, property manager and car service were all great to work with - convenient and dependable. We had absolutely no problems with anything. We would definitely rent this flat again if we needed a place to stay in Kensington. Only downside would be the stairs - this would not be good for someone elderly or with a disability. 28 February 2017 - 20:28:00

Perfect location for getting around London. Close to tube station and market. Flat was clean and check in went well. Julie scheduled a driver to pick us up from Airport when we arrived before we figured out how to use the tube system. Would stay here again. Make sure to bring eye covers for sleep, because there are windows in one of the bedrooms. If you are a light sleeper this may be problematic for you. Other room is nice and dark. 17 June 2017 - 19:12:00

Great flat and fabulous location. 7 minutes walk to three Underground lines. Fantastic neighborhood in Kensington. Be aware that the flat has no windows but has plentiful skylights instead. 2 small bedrooms but worked fine for my family of 4. Comfortable beds, hot water, laundry machines. A good find, cheaper than many neighborhood flats. 04 August 2017 - 05:58:00

We stayed for 10 nights at Julie's flat in South Kensington and were very comfortable here. Julie was fantastic in responding quickly to all emails/questions from the very start to the end of our stay. Yasmin met us to do the flat check-in and we also used Julie's contact for an airport transfer at the end of our stay - both were very friendly and on time. The location is fantastic with a 5-10 minute walk to Gloucester Road tube station and access to 3 tube lines (Circle, District & Piccadilly) - we used the tube almost daily and it was very convenient to get anywhere in London. The flat is comfortable with 2 smaller bedrooms and 1 bath and a spacious living room. We used the washing machine and dryer with no problems. The flat is below grade but has many skylights throughout making it very bright. The neighbors were very quiet and the neighborhood is very safe to walk around at night. The Natural History Museum, V&A Museum, Harrods, Kensington Gardens & Palace are all easily walkable from the flat. There are 2 grocery stores near the tube station (Tesco & Waitrose) and we used both with no issues. All in all a great location and flat - would recommend to anyone heading to London! 19 August 2017 - 15:54:00

We really liked this apartment. Check in easy and efficient, David explained everything we needed to know. Well equipped but a couple of things need replacing (microwave hit and miss), fridge door has no compartments so had to put everything in main part. Would stay here again, if in London and recommend it. 11 October 2017 - 15:47:00
