We stayed for a week during the winter break in this phenomenal property. The apartment is located in a quiet alley just a few steps away from restaurants, bakeries, grocery shops and Paris metro which can take you ANYWHERE! Some museums and attractions are within walking distance as well (Notre Dame, Louvre, Pompidou, Le Palais Royal) if you want to burn all the wine, cheese and croissants eaten during the stay. The apartment is spacious and very well equipped, with dishwasher and washing machine (useful when packing light). The big living room is very inviting to enjoy a glass of wine after a long day walking around town. The cool dcor flows throughout the living spaces and would always hold my attention thinking of the history behind each piece. The communication with the owner prior and during our stay was flawless Antoine was very helpful and accommodating, with precious suggestions of restaurants, bakeries, and shops. We will definitely visit again and recommend the experience. Thanks, Antoine! 16 January 2017 - 22:03:00

My family and I recently stayed in this wonderful 3 bdrm, 2 toilet/3 shower beautiful home for the holiday season. We were welcomed beforehand with an email introduction to Paris and the neighborhood as well as directions to the home, and when we arrived we were provided with a walk-through tour, many welcome maps to Paris, multiple sets of keys, and instantly felt comfortable and at-home. The home is beautifully decorated and fully stocked with kitchen and dining supplies, which came very handy as we frequently made breakfast and were even able to cook Christmas dinner at home. We recommend the first day you come in to go down 2 blocks to Rue Montorgueil to explore the multiple shops, patisseries, cafes, restaurants that are available. We got baguettes and other pastries daily from two local patisseries just steps from this apartment. I wish I had more time there to visit everything there and try all the food!! Rue Mongorueil is truly one of the best neighborhood streets we visited in Paris when we were there. There are multiple subways within short walking distance (3-5 minutes) from the apartment which was very convenient, as well as a big grocery store a few blocks away. Wifi available. We felt very safe in this neighborhood and apartment. Please note this unit is on the 3rd floor, so you have to walk up 2 sets of stairs to the unit (there is no elevator) - this was great for many of us as we were eager to do more exercise so we could eat more :) , but I could see it being difficult for someone who is unable to climb as many stairs. The owner was exceptionally responsive, accommodating, and gracious and had an excellent first-time experience with vrbo because of him! 30 December 2011 - 00:03:27

We cannot begin to describe how wonderful this apartment was in helping make our vacation in Paris perfect. From the airport to the train to the station, the apartment was within walking distance. The hospitality extended to us by the owners upon our arrival was superb. The accomodations felt better than home -- spacious, clean, quiet, and decorated with fine art. We were within a 15 minute walk to The Seine. And we were within a two minute walk to a bustling and typical French shopping street, something right out of a travel magazine -- bakeries, restaurants, markets, wine and cheese stores, etc -- we could have spent our entire vacation there! For a combination of great living conditions, central location and exceptional value -- this apartment is the one! 02 May 2012 - 15:17:45

For our week in Paris we were looking for an apartment with space for four women where we wouldn't be tripping over suitcases and each other. Was this an incredible find! Not only did we have more than enough room, the space was beautifully decorated, had wi-fi, a great espresso maker, lots of dishes and stemware, etc. The location was outstanding with great neighborhood food shops a couple of blocks away, some very good restaurants not much further than that, plus it was within walking distance to the Louvre, the Seine and Notre Dame and so many more of the treasures of the city. Our genial hosts Antoine and Patricia met us when we arrived and gave us a quick rundown on the apartment and neighborhood. Patricia met us early on the morning we were to leave, walking us down to the street where our cab was to arrive and staying with us until we were safely off. I'd highly recommend it to my family and friends without hesitation. 10 September 2012 - 15:15:50

Our family of 5 (dad, mom and 3 'kids' ages 17-21) stayed at this lovely rental for 10 nights. It is located on a rather quiet alley, but SO close to lively streets with groceries, bakeries, dining, bars, shopping! The location is great for sight seeing as well - easy walking distance to metro stations, and not a bad walk to many museums and attractions - the Louvre, Notre Dame, Pompedou... I couldn't have asked for better communication with the owner - Antoine was SO helpful, and accommodating! I would recommend this property! The three bedrooms are all on the second floor of the apartment - the five of us were very comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed for home cooked meals. The dcor is very cool!... Thank you Antoine! 04 September 2013 - 18:57:11

We stayed with our three children (3, 6 and 14 years old) for one week in July in this apartment. The apartment is located in child friendly and quiet neighborhood and allows you to walk within 15 minutes to the major attractions such as the Notre Dame, Centre Pompidou or the Louvre. The apartment has three large bedrooms (even large for North American standards) and all have a fan, which kept to rooms cool and comfortable when it was 36 degrees Celsius outside. The kitchen had all the amenities that we needed to make full meals for dinner. A dishwasher and wash machine were also located in the kitchen, which is wonderful that we didnt have to go to a separate laundry facility or launderette. We enjoyed the close vicinity to the metro stations (closest two within a 3 minute walk) and Les Halles station from which the RER train takes you directly to Disneyland Paris. Our kids enjoyed the play area at the Nelson Mandela Parc by Les Halles (5 minute walk), which has two exceptional play areas: one for the younger children and one for teenagers. The play areas were safe, clean and the equipment was in excellent condition. We were able to get fresh vegetables, fish, cheese, bread, wine and groceries at the stores / supermarket that are all within a few minutes walk from the apartment. The communication prior to and during our stay was excellent, Antoine and Patricia (owners) were so helpful and provided us the information we needed to plan our stay and turn this into an amazing experience for our family. We highly recommend this apartment for families with younger or older children that want to enjoy the Parisian lifestyle and great atmosphere the city has to offer. 03 September 2014 - 17:57:37
