We just renovated this charming south facing 2 bedrooms apartment on the 6th floor of a typical Parisian building with elevator. (75m2) It is a very bright apartment 1 min away from the Convention metro (line 12) station and close to the shops and amenities of rue de Vaugirard including a Monoprix and local farmer’s market. It is 4 metro stations away from the Champ de Mars (Eiffel tower) and 1 station away from the Versailles expo center. It features a 30m2 double reception with a fire place, a sunny balcony where you can enjoy a glass of French wine and a fully fitted open kitchen with marble counter top (dish washer, washing machine,dryer, oven, microwave, induction table, nespresso coffe machine, kitchen aid blender, toaster etc...). The flat is extremely quiet boasting two bedrooms overlooking a courtyard. It offers free internet wifi access and a flat screen TV.     I had a 2-month stay in this excellent apartment during a work assignment in Paris. Throughout my stay, the owner responded promptly to all my emails and was extremely patient and helpful when there were problems processing the payment. The property is on the sixth floor in an oldish building kept wonderfully clean and orderly by a concierge, who will also assist with key pick ups and drops etc. but who would probably prefer conversations to be in French. The apartment is light, airy and uncluttered with a lot of space to move around freelyso much more preferable than the confines of a hotel room. The ingenious use of storage space adds to the unclutterednessno need to see or fall over suitcases and clothes. The pictures are representative of the property, although they dont reflect the high degree of cleanliness and quality. From the balcony you can look down on the trees and street below, count the cheese shops, delis and bakeries and know youre in Paris. This is an area where people actual live, as opposed to visiting as a tourist. Safety was never an issue. There are large, major supermarkets a 5-min walk away and an extensive Sunday produce market right outside the door. The metro is seconds away as is a taxi rank (55 euro for a CDG airport tripranging from a terrifying 30 min to a traffic-laden 90 min, depending on the time of day). The kitchen is well equipped with sufficient utensils, crockery and cutlery for sophisticated cooking, should you feel so inclined. If you dont, there are numerous everyday restaurants nearby. All the appliances function well and it was particularly useful to have a washing machine and dryer. The bedroom is quiet and I had the unexpected pleasure of being woken in the morning by bird songnever expected that in the center of Paris. Apart from the inevitable noise from emergency vehicles, the noise from the street is not disturbing.     Lovely is the first and last word that comes to mind when I write about my stay. The apartment is well-situated in a part of Paris that has EVERYTHING one needs to spend a month (!!) there. The grocery store is walking distance, there is a farmers' market just up the street 2 times a week. Since I was traveling back and forth to the American Library in another part of the city, I was happy with the ease of moving around on both the Metro (right on the corner) and the bus (Sadly, right outside a VERY delicious boulangerie). There are many great places to eat and to buy groceries, baked goods and wine all within walking distance. There is a movie house right around the corner from the building. 27 June 2017 - 22:13:00

    So much to recommend: 1. Owners very responsive and helpful. 2. Great location, close to Metro line 12 and 8 3. Great neighborhood with cafes, bars, a big Monoprix, good cheese and bread stores, and an excellent market Tues, Thurs, Sunday 4. Apartment roomy, very clean, very comfortable and great kitchen, 5.     Our family of four, with children ages 7 and 9, loved this apartment. It is just beautiful, and very family friendly. There is plenty of room and every convenience is there: new appliances, including a washer and dryer, new hardwood flooring, very nice furniture, and comfortable beds--there are bunk beds in the kids room. And there is a great balcony for morning coffee or evening wine and cheese. The location is perfect if you are looking for a true Paris neighborhood, filled with local shops and cafes, right next to the Metro. The building is very quaint, with a helpful concierge and only two apartments per floor. There is an elevator. The owner made us feel welcome from the very first email exchange and continued to be an excellent person to work with.     My husband and I stayed in this lovely apartment for a week and wished it was longer. It was bright, sunny and clean and had everything we needed. The very well equipped kitchen came in handy as we took advantage of the farmers' market, held three times a week on the street, to cook several meals at home. For other supplies there are supermarkets, bakeries etc close by. We also went to some great local restaurants , including le Cristal de Sel, which has wonderful food and service. Although we originally chose this place because it was close to a conference my husband was attending, we really enjoyed staying in a more residential neighbourhood without the tourist bustle. It also has the benefit of the metro very close by so it was easy to get around the city. You can walk to the Eiffel Tower in about 25-30 minutes if you're inclined for some exercise. Laurence was a pleasure to deal with. She replied promptly and was friendly and helpful with all the information we needed via email. She arranged for her brother to meet us on arrival. He was great and went through the apartment with us and helped us with the few queries we had. There is also an information folder with details for many services you could need during your stay.     This is a nice and bright 2 bedroom apartment, quiet yet located near a lot of shops, restuarants and a few steps from the "convention" metro station. It is modern and recently renovated and has everything you may need for a lovely paris stay. The owners are very helpful. The description and the photos reflect exactly the apartment, the peoperty is clean and well maintained.
