Our family (2 adults with 20 and 17 year old) stayed here over the winter holidays and greatly enjoyed our trip. We were visiting our daughter who was studying in Paris. I had stayed with my daughter for a week in November in the two bedroom apartment located directly below (VBRO #303342) in the building available from the same owner. The owners were so accomodating and made our stay very enjoyable. The apartment is QUITE SPECTACTULAR, from the beautiful terrace overlooking Saint Sulpice, the Eiffel Tower and Paris rooftops to the impeccable decor and well maintained facilities. The apartment was remolded over a year ago but the entire property is spotless and quite new. The pictures do not do it justice. It is incredibly decorated and extremely comfortable. The location is perfect with the Jardin du Luxenbourg only a half block away along with wonderful cafes, boulangerie, pattiserie, open markets and restaurants all within a short distance. It is easily accessible to the metro but you are very centrally located to walk most everywhere. My son and husband are runners and ran everyday from the apartment enjoying all the sights Paris has to offer. We were comfortably able to entertain friends and cook dinner for ten people with enough beautiful dinnerware. The kitchen is very well equipped and the range is wonderful to cook on. We cannot say enough about this very special rental in Paris. The incredible two bedroom downstairs along with this beautiful three bedroom apartment would be ideal for extended families or friends traveling together. Enjoy this truly special Paris property!! We cannot wait to return very soon.... 08 January 2012 - 06:14:19

The apartment is spectacular; the views from the terrace and esp. the top floor bedroom are fantastic. Had no problem with the stairs unless one has real issues with mobility they are easy to get up and down (and our ages ranged from 3 to 72); also from my experience in old Parisian buildings the tiny elevators one sometimes finds are very prone to break down. The stairs inside the apartment are not safe for small toddlers or crawling babies but our 3 year old was fine. The kitchen was a rare treat; Ive stayed in a variety of vrbo type apts in various places but never had anything like a lacanche to work with, fantastic stove, and a great layout. We prefer shopping and cooking to eating out and this was the perfect apartment for that. With three kids (3, 5, 8) we spend a fair bit of time in the Luxembourg gardens and you cant get much closer than this; also close to the Marche St. Germain etc.; great location. Bedrooms all spacious and plenty of privacy. Listing was accurate, property was clean and very well looked after, owner was very helpful. Had a great time and cant wait to go back. 11 January 2012 - 09:19:34

Beautiful Luxury Apartment, Fabulous Location, Accommodating Owner When we arrived, we were met by the caretaker who helped carry our bags to the fourth floor, which was most welcomed. The apartment is beautiful, recently renovated, using quality materials, and much more personal than other rentals that we saw. It was well equipped with everything there to make us comfortable, from ironed sheets to service for 12. The layout offers privacy for each of the three bedrooms with in-suite bathrooms, making it perfect for a girls trip or for several couples staying together. With the three floor arrangement, however, it would not be suitable for a family with young children. The location is perfect for enjoying all that the Left Bank has to offer. Located in a quiet residential area within a block of the Luxenbourg Gardens and yet only 2 blocks from the restaurants and sidewalk cafes of San Germain. Equally convenient, there are several metro stations with in a five minute walk and several wonderful museums also within the same radius. It made everything so easy. The owner was very accommodating. He handled all of our requests promptly and our security deposit was returned on a timely bias. All and all our entire experience was amazing. For a truly memorable stay in Paris, we would highly recommend this apartment. 15 March 2012 - 23:22:27

Choosing a special place that would comfortably accomodate three couples was not an easy task given we wanted to stay in the coveted St Germain district. When we found this property we were thrilled. But even more so after our arrival! It was the perfect place for our week...close to the shops, museums, great restaurants and, in our opinion, on one of the best residential streets in Paris. For those nights that we decided to eat in we had the pleasure of cooking in a gourmet kitchen that was outfitted with the owners personal china, cooking utensils, linens etc. The entire apartment had the feel of a real home (which it is) rather than a rental. From the furniture, to the art, to the linens and recently renovated en suite bathrooms, no details were overlooked. In fact, it was hard to leave! The charming owner was readily available to answer any questions as well as his property manager who lives across the street. We are already talking about returning for a month's stay! 05 April 2012 - 09:29:47
  5. Our family stayed at this beautiful apartment for our childrens Spring Break in mid March. My wifes father traveled with us, so the 3rd bedroom on the top floor worked out very well for both functionality & privacy. This apartments layout is really perfect for young families. We are very much looking forward to staying here again on our next visit to Paris. The only caveat that I would mention is that there are a fair number of stairs to climb to reach the entrance (there is no elevator), so all travelers should be prepared for this ahead of time. The owner was kind enough to provide us a contact with a driver (Clement) who met us at the train station and drove us to the apartment. He was extremely helpful in many ways. He speaks excellent English and has a historians knowledge of Paris. He drove us to the apartment, introduced us to the friendly housekeeper who lives across the street, and helped us with our luggage. The apartment itself has a very interesting layout spanning 3 floors. The photos on the website are accurate, but pictures really don't convey what a unique and interesting design that this apartment offers. The views are excellent and the furnishing is all high end. As far as location is concerned, I can't think of a better place to be in Paris. Rue de Tournon is a quiet street, yet very centrally located. The Jardin du Luxembourg is an ideal place for a morning jog and is only a block away. It has an excellent childrens playground as well. Additionally, there is a great market (Marche de Saint Germain) and bakery (Gerard Mulot) within short walking distance. Our family even walked to sites such as Notre Dame and the Louvre without any difficulty. The Metro is nearby as well for places a little further afield. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would hope to do so again if its available during our next trip to France. 11 April 2012 - 21:15:32

My family loved staying at this apartment. The reward for climbing those steps is having a beautiful terrace with views of the Senate dome and the St. Germain neighborhood. The owner was very helpful with advice on nearby restaurants and businesses. We loved being able to make our own meals. I highly recommend this place. 20 July 2012 - 16:30:04

Our week long stay at this lovely apartment was wonderful, everything was exactly as advertised and pictured. Doing business with Ludovic the owner was a pleasurable experience and our security deposit was returned in a timely fashion. Everything was ready when we arrived, we were greeted by the housekeeper who explained the home to us, we had everything we needed in the kitchen, the neighborhood was quiet and within walking distance of most major Paris sights. It served us well as a home base for our visit and its nice to know we have a great place to stay for our future visits to Paris. I would highly recommend this apartment for families looking for a lovely, charming, and quaint typical Parisenne apartment. 12 August 2012 - 18:33:20

We were 3 couples (early 40's) traveling together and this place could not have been more perfect! The photos really do not do the place justice. We arrived to a beautifully appointed space and Choi & Clement the driver helped us with our luggage. The stairs up to the flat are arduous, but they remind you that you're young! & in Paris! It was also a great way to work off the cheese & bread we ate daily. We walked everywhere & the Odeon Metro stop was around the corner if we needed it. Shopped at the Monoprix like locals and had cocktail hour every evening with our friends on the terrace. The balcony was a place we spent a lot of time and at night the biggest surprise was watching the Eiffel Tower light up. The location is close enough to St. Germain to be right in it when you want, but situated on a quieter street so at night you could not hear a peep. With three couples, I would recommend deciding ahead if time who will get the biggest room--it definitely has more value. The other two rooms are great, but smaller and they share a toilet, so it's better for two couples who know each other well. The space is so sound, you really don't hear any noise from your housemates. The art, the furnishings, the lighting, the kitchen, everything--was exceptionally tasteful and perfect. This place is very special and we will definitely be returning! (Highly recommend a cocktail bar close by called Le Schmuck, Cire Trudon for candles & Paul in St. Germain for morning caf & pain lardon. All within a quick, beautiful walk. Miss it already.) 30 October 2012 - 16:35:35

We so enjoyed our stay. The apartment is beautifully appointed and full of character. Given that Paris can be noisy at night, the bedrooms in this apartment are comfortable and quiet so a good night's sleep is guaranteed. The views from the terrace and upper bedrooms are amazing and while were were there during the winter, we dream of going back and having dinner or drinks on the terrace. The owner requires a large deposit for this beautiful apartment, but he returned it in full within 48 hours of our departure. The neighborhood is fantastic and we were so happy to spend New Years in such a perfect area of Paris. Plus, with all the stairs we were guaranteed a great work out everyday, so being so close to one of the best patisseries in Paris was not a problem. :) 09 January 2013 - 00:26:09

Our family of seven adults found this beautiful property the perfect "home base" for our visit to Paris! The causal elegance of the St. Germaine penthouse was true to the stunning on-site pictures and created a comfortable backdrop for great shared meals and evening conversations on the terrace. Ludovic, the owner, and Amy, the caretaker, were most helpful during all aspects of our trip from the pre-planning through the timely return of our despoit. The surrounding St. Germaine neighborhood offered an extensive variet of great cafes, shops, patisseries and resturants along with the Metro close by connecting us to all other sites of Paris. We loved our visit and enjoyed the beauty, comfort and security of this magnificent home. We look forward to returning soon! 07 August 2013 - 16:09:29

Our large family group--including kids and grandkids--enjoyed the location, the amenities, the space, and the care that obviously goes into accommodating Parisian want-to-bes! No hesitation about recommending this lovely apartment. You do, however, need to be aware of climbing flights of stairs each time you return home. 24 April 2014 - 16:18:22

This is a unique space, with great view, in a central area of town. The owners have redone and decorated the entire penthouse recently with significant attention to detail, and the results are stunning. Particularly loved the spacious and modern kitchen, the cozy living room and the terrace to enjoy a the Paris afternoons and evenings. I would return any time. The owner is very responsive, so you are in good hands. Valuable dcor is best for adults and children over 6 or 7. 21 June 2014 - 11:27:59

Our Paris vacation in August could not have been better. Not only did we fall in love with city and attractions, but our apartment was comfortable, unique and fantastic. We were 2 couples and a preteen. 3 bedrooms and baths on separate levels worked out perfectly. The apartment is very well appointed, quiet, and comfortable. We really enjoyed the terrace and it's view of the Eiffel Tower with some wine and cheese, especially at night. The neighborhood is quiet, and just a quick walk to the Luxembourg Gardens, shops, restaurants, markets, metro, and attractions. Highly recommend this beautiful apartment. Would love to come back. 23 September 2014 - 23:57:11

We stayed in this amazing place for a few days and we simply loved it. The location is amazing for shopping and for visiting the city. Rue de Tournon is really our favorite street in Paris! It is beautiful and really central. On top, the decoration of the appartement makes it a wonderful parisian place. We would definitely come back and recommend it! 07 March 2015 - 17:11:37

Long Parisian week end in this perfect decorated little gem. Amazing location (St Germain des pres! Right in the middle of the best shopping, restaurants, mythic Parisian clubs). And killer detail: the terrace with the view on the Eiffel Tower, breakfast in heaven! Would definitely recommend it. 09 July 2015 - 09:18:03

Loved to feel like a Parisian elite in this apartment. Location, the art on the walls, and the views are a constant reminder of why Paris is Paris, and why this apartment is so memorable and marking. I work in real estate and have an idea of what lies around that area and it was something of a dream come true to live in th center of it all for 5 days. The kitchen is amazing and we bought local produce and cooked for some friends while we were there. The flat is great for dinners with a large table and great kitchen. The weather was too cold but next time we'll use the outdoor space for that as well. I didn't feel like a tourist for a second. Thanks Ludovic and above all thank you Paris for living up to expectations! 25 February 2016 - 02:40:43

Great apartment, great location. Street is very quiet and residential, but walkable to many of our favorite attractions and neighborhoods. Apartment was beautifully furnished, and had a great layout - we had plenty of room for a family of 5. The owner and manager were both very responsive whenever we had questions. Thanks for a great experience! 09 July 2017 - 11:08:00

Really neat apartment in a great neighborhood, easy walking distance to shops, cafes, metro, and Jardin Luxembourg. The owner, Monsieur Ludovic, was very easy to work with as well. There are lots of steps to navigate, so be prepared - we used a recommended car service and the driver helped with my family's baggage, which was fantastic! I sat on the terrace with coffee or a glass of wine several mornings and evenings, marveling at the view of St. Sulpice and the Eiffel Tower (especially during the nightly light shows). Definitely would consider staying here again in the future. 24 June 2016 - 02:01:00

Our family-including our two sons and their wives--spent a most enjoyable and comfortable week here. It was perfect, spacious and well laid out so that we all had our privacy, but equally enjoyable were our meals out on the terrace. The apt. Is very well located and accessible to good shopping, food stores, bakeries, museums, et al. 29 September 2014 - 18:52:22
