Don't even hesitate to book this apartment - it has EVERYTHING going for it - fantastic neighbourhood - quiet & safe, amazing location - an easy stroll to everything you need or want to do/experience, a spacious apartment - very clean, newly decorated and well appointed - you will need for nothing. Champaubert, the owner, was fantastic to deal with - he takes pride in their apartment, as well as ever so generous with information & tips to local restaurants and attractions. Communications before arrival were outstanding. The apartment is newly decorated and updated - beautiful bathroom (with a tub!!). I know this point is silly, but I am very fussy about irons, and they have a great iron (most vacation rentals have cheap irons that do an inadequate job - not here - one the best iron I've used - even my husband commented). A testimony to the attention to detail & quality of the amenities of the suite. I would highly recommend staying here - we can't wait to go back. Merci Champaubert - it was an absolute pleasure ! 26 September 2013 - 22:11:44

Our family of three just finished our weeklong stay in this apartment. It was absolutely lovely. The pictures are exactly what you will find when you stay, and Xavier was a great host. The neighborhood was very nice, plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The Invalides Metro Station (with RER access) was a five minute walk, and made getting around this beautiful city even easier. We enjoyed walking to the Rue Cler and seeing all of the vendors. The people were all so nice. We did not speak French, yet we had no problem going to the various stores and making purchases. The apartment itself was very comfortable. The heater worked well, and the elevator was nice getting in and out of the apartment. I've read comments on other apartments regarding the water heater and running out of hot water, but we never had that problem with this apartment. Family of three and using the washer/dishwasher, and we always had plenty of hot water. There are two nearby grocery stores, and those were nice for getting grocery items as well as the patisseries and other stores. There was a lot to choose from, and the location was very central to the majority of tourist attractions. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much Xavier for being such a gracious host for our family! 01 December 2013 - 13:28:57

My husband and I love to travel in December. We have stayed at many comfortable locations in Paris. This flat was among the very nicest. First and foremost the location could not be better. There are so many superb restaurants within a short walking distance of the flat. We arrived on a Friday evening and were warmly greeted by the owner who showed us around the flat which was impeccably clean and perfectly outfitted for our stay. Since our flight arrived late we dashed off to eat at Chez les Anges - It was a perfect start to our stay. In the morning we were up and about and able to appreciate more the amenities of the flat - beautiful towels in a modern bathroom , a well equipped kitchen and very comfortable sitting room . The flat is tastefully decorated and maintained to the very highest standard. The owner takes great pride in the flat and it shows. We were also able to appreciate its location. Wonderful bakeries and shops and just around the corner. You can see the Eiffel Tower from the flat and as you stroll through the streets. We walked to just about everything - Notre Dame, the Louvre , the D'Orsay. We would definitely stay again in this flat. You cannot beat the quality and the location. 03 January 2014 - 05:00:58

My wife and I just spent 6 weeks in this apartment and were delighted with the location as well as with the amenities. It's on the third level and has an elevator. You are within walking distance of most of the major monuments, museums, parks, metro, train and bus. The apartment is newly renovated and features an American style fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. You can see the Eiffel tower nearby from the living room and the kitchen! There are ten restaurants within a 5 minute walk with gastronomical menus as well as very affordable French cafes, bistros and ethnic food restaurants like sushi bars, Lebanese, Italian and oriental. We would eat in for breakfast after purchasing fresh bread, cheese, and pate down the street and be off visiting the different Paris neighborhoods. We usually found a great restaurant for lunch and, at night, would either eat out or pickup great prepared meals from local traiteurs. The local outdoor markets are quite charming and close by as is the famous rue Cler. There are too many good restaurants in the neighborhood to name them all but here are a few worth visiting. Mamie crepe and Le Petit Tonneau are just across the street. L'auberge des Saveurs is just next door. For high gastronomy go to David Toutain the young rising chef also located down the street. Le Bistrot du 7ieme on the next street is your best quality/price value. For great shopping go to Le Bon Marche and La Grande Epicerie de Paris. Go antiquing at the Marche St-Ouen and Antiquaire des Halles. We will definitely recommend this apartment to friends and relatives. The owner is always available and a fountain of useful information! Looking forward to coming back! 04 March 2014 - 00:02:01

Stayed 5 nights- There were 4 of us for a girls getaway and there was plenty of room for all. This apartment is perfectly located for sights in all directions. It was clean and well appointed- The kitchen had anything you would want! However, we took advantage of the neighborhood with the excellent food, bakeries and Rue Cler market and didn't cook at all! The other reviews are spot on with descriptions. We were met graciously upon our arrival- received a thorough tour and explanation of the apartment. There is an information book put together by the owners with excellent suggestions on where to experience the areas best. The only thing that I overlooked was a 1.5 bathroom does not mean two toilets- the shower & sinks are separate from the toilet. This is mentioned in the apartment description and I am glad I overlooked it. It did not cause us any problem (it could have been an issue if I was traveling with other members of my family). I would highly recommend this apartment & hope to come back again and stay here!!! Thank you! 17 April 2014 - 15:45:07

This is an excellent apartment. It has everything you need, including a great location, most of the amenities of a hotel, as well as a sense of privacy. Its location near Rue Cler and Rue Saint Dominique make a wonderful point from which to start any day. The manager, Xavier, is available for any questions, and he's put a great deal of thought into every amenity and offering. The only hesitation from giving this 5 stars is that the AC is really not an offering on which one should rely. It was quite hot when we were there, which we tried to address by opening the windows but as that invited flies (and there are no screens) we asked about the AC. It's a unit that apparently involves a hose and monitoring/draining and just hearing the description from Xavier made us say, forget that option. Also, while there is a view of the Eiffel Tower, it's a peekaboo view from the kitchen. It's not something I would come here for. But that said, I would happily rent this unit again because the view of the Eiffel Tower is one you get as you walk to and from the apartment, and it's a lovely walk all around. We discovered many nice restaurants in our time there and came to like the location very much. Moreover, unless you're planning to be in Paris in the hottest months the AC may not be an issue; just don't come relying on that. Otherwise, I can say that having rented an apartment about a week later in London via AirBNB we came to appreciate how attentive Xavier was and how nice it is to rent from the owner, as management companies often delegate and frankly don't know or care how their apartments are managed or maintained, nor what experience their guests have. So this is a great choice. 08 August 2014 - 22:57:05

My wife and I spent a little over a week in this wonderful Apartment the first of August ,and had one of our Best Vacations ever . The apartment is close to two Metro Stations and Major Attractions . One end of the street is the Beautiful Seine River ,the other end one of the most famous photographed scenes in Paris outside the usual. We found Paintings being sold and pictures of this scene in guide books , with the Eifiel Tower popping up above the homes and buildings as the street gently turns away at the corner Cafe. You cannot find a better spot in Paris to have a home base. The people of this area sitting out on the sidewalks of their Cafes or Shop Keepers are some of the nicest people we have met. Everyone was helpful and most spoke some English. As for the Apartment ,we wish we were still there. Very Clean ,well equipped ,nicely decorated and very comfortable. We had to use the Air Conditioner one afternoon ,other wise you just opened the windows like every one else in Paris and it cooled off very quickly. (This is one of the few apartments that we found offering Air Conditioning ,a Lift , a Tub with Shower and a view of the Eiffel Tower. A VIEW OF THE EIFFEL TOWER! WOW !) Do yourself a favor and book this great apartment it comes with a very nice ,safe neighborhood. Xavier could not be more profesional in guiding you through the process and making your stay a lasting memory. Au Revoir 11 August 2014 - 21:37:11

A stunning apartment in one of the best arrondissements in Paris. Perfect location for walking to attractions and exquisite dining. Everything was as shown in the photos and the owner couldn't have been more obliging. This apartment with it's classy furnishings was recommended by a friend and we would have no hesitation in recommending it to others also. 13 October 2014 - 07:29:06

We had a wonderful stay in this elegant and tastefully decorated apartment. Everything shown in the listing is exactly as it is in the apartment, and even better! For starters, it is new and spotless and the decor is very pleasing and soothing. Champaubert has thought of everything to make your stay here comfortable. A well equipped kitchen, double sinks in the well-lit bathroom, an extremely comfortable bed/quiet bedroom, lots of storage space and many outlets for all your devices make this a very well equipped and well thought out apartment. Champaubert provides a detailed welcome booklet as well as an instruction booklet on the appliances. In addition to him being there in person upon our arrival, these booklets were most helpful. The neighborhood is lovely and most convenient. There are many wonderful restaurants in close walking distance which we enjoyed thoroughly. Thank you, Champaubert, for making our stay so very memorable. We hope to return someday! 11 November 2014 - 16:05:45

Xavier, the proud owner of this lovely place, was there to meet us, as planned. He explained everything, left books with places to visit, maps and reviews on nearby restaurants. The other book had all the appliances, with pertinent information. My son, my adult grandson and myself thoroughly enjoyed two of Xavier's restaurant suggestions. The apartment was very homey, extremely clean, beautiful bedding and towels, and the location was perfect. This was my first visit to Paris and it was made even more memorable because of this perfect place to live. Thank you Xavier. This grandma will remember it always. 31 March 2015 - 20:31:52

We were looking for home like atmosphere in the 7th Arrondissement close to the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Metro Stations and bus routes. The property was just like the photos; what you see is what you get. The neighborhood is quiet and charming. The kitchen is fully functional for those who want to eat in. We will certainly book the apartment on our next trip to Paris. 27 May 2015 - 00:17:12

My wife and I chose this lovely apartment for our week long visit to Paris. It is perfect in every way. The location is central, yet away from the noise and traffic. It is convenient to several Metro stations, a Velib bike station, and many major attractions. Also nearby are several great restaurants, Boulangeries and the fabulous Rue Cler. All of our dealings with the owner were prompt, pleasant and helpful. Check-in and out was a breeze. Best of all, we found the apartment to be in pristine condition, with lovely linens and furnishings. In fact, the pictures don't do justice to the apartment, which is perfect for a couple on holiday. We've rented from VRBO in many places all over the world and this was one of the best experiences yet. We will stay here again if we return to Paris. 09 June 2015 - 14:24:08

Having been to Paris a few times, we wanted to stay in a quiet residential neighbourhood and feel like a local so decided to rent this place. The apartment is in a very nice and safe neighbourhood with plenty of choices for shopping all sorts of things (from clothing to food to flowers to specialty items). If you are on a culinary mission, this is the place to be to shop like a local from the many stores nearby (from caviar to cheese to pastries, etc..). There are also many cafes and restaurants to choose from. It is a decent walking distance to many of the major sights (20-30 minutes) and a 5-7 minutes to the metro or bus station. The apartment is a good size for Paris standards and well maintained. Xavier was very responsive to emails. He was there to welcome us and show us the apartment and came early on Saturday to get the keys as we were leaving on an early morning flight which we appreciated. The street can be busy and noisy especially on Friday and Saturday evenings with many out on the street until the wee hours singing after having many drinks but I guess this is the case for most streets in Paris. I also would have preferred not to worry about the housekeeping before leaving (such as emptying the garbage, taking the bed linen out, sweeping the floors) as this is what I would expect to be covered in the cleaning fee. One less thing to worry about when you pack. Despite all that, I would consider renting the apartment again on my next visit to Paris. What I liked about the apartment: - nice neighbourhood - decent space (for Paris standards) - quiet building - local calls available from the home phone - safe to keep your valuables (although as I said it is a very safe area) What can be improved: - internet connection (was sketchy at times) - cleaning requirements at departure 22 June 2015 - 08:42:36

This apartment is very attractive, clean and comfortable. It is in a very central location - walk to Champs Elyses, Eiffel tower, metro station/s, food and clothing shops and many restaurants. Only problem in summer is that the living room and kitchen face West and consequently the afternoon sun is a problem. However, that is dealt with by curtains and a portable (but efficient) airconditioner. The apartment is on the third floor and there is a lift. I felt very at-home, safe and comfortable and recommend this apartment. The owner was efficient and helpful. 25 July 2015 - 23:40:03

We loved our wonderful stay at this apartment, that exceeded our expectations. Everything was FABULOUS! we could not have asked for anything better. We were a family of four, parents and two young children and it was a great space for all of us. The ambiance of the apartment was very charming, quiet and comfortable. It had great space for a Paris apartment. The bedroom was a good size with ample closet space. The bathroom was gorgeous and the kitchen was well equipped. The apartment is very clean and has the bonus of air conditioning and a lift if you need it. The free wifi worked great. It couldn't be in a better location: the neighborhood has some excellent restaurants, shops, bakeries, a wonderful open air market on Rue Cler and a short walk to the Eiffel and many other monuments. The Metro is very close by. We love the 7th arrondisement because it is quiete and safe compared to other neighborhoods. The apartment itself is on a very quiet street, and the fact that the bedroom faces an internal courtyard is a perk. Many thanks to Champaubert, he was such a great host, showed us everything, and was very responsive to our requests. We would stay here again for sure! Highly recommend for 4 people. 01 August 2015 - 08:19:38

My husband and I really enjoyed this wonderful apartment for the 12 days we were there. The location is the perfect central spot to see all that Paris has to offer. The 7eme is a quiet and lovely neighborhood with great restaurants and small shops all nearby, including the famous Rue Cler market. The Mtro stop (Tour-Maubourg) is very close and can get you anywhere you want to go easily - we used the Mtro daily. The street that the apartment is on is very quiet yet has two cafs on each end that serve breakfast lunch and dinner daily. The apartment itself is very nice and immaculate, updated and the perfect size for two people. Everything worked great, including the internet (something I needed for work each day) and all the appliances. We cooked dinner in one night and it was perfect. The shower was wonderful - and the bed was very comfy and we slept great! The owner, Xavier, is extremely nice, and lives near the apartment which is great for peace of mind should anything go wrong. We can't recommend this property enough for your stay in Paris. If you are thinking about it... just do it! You will be happy that you did! 09 October 2015 - 14:16:35

We couldn't have asked for a better home base for our trip to Paris. The apartment was beautiful, immaculate, and centrally located. Xavier was a wonderful host. He came by the night before we left to return the deposit and thankfully made taxi reservations for us for our 5:30 am departure. He's a very gracious host. The apartment had absolutely everything we could have needed (including umbrellas) and was so pretty and comfortable. It was also in walking distance to everything. Some days we took the bus (#69) which took us to Marais and other areas. Nice to take the bus instead of the metro as you get to see the city and its comfortable. We never did take the metro. There are so many wonderful shops and restaurants right around the apartment. If we return to Paris, we would stay there again. Thank you so much Xavier! 14 October 2015 - 00:44:54

This was perfect for our family trip to Paris. It was clean, had everything we needed, and was exactly as advertised. We were able to walk to the museums, Eiffel tower, and metro station. It was a safe neighborhood and there were many markets, restaurants and bakeries within a few blocks. The kids enjoyed watching the Eiffel tower sparkle at night from the apartment window. The owner did a great job explaining everything and everything was clean and in good working order. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone. 11 July 2017 - 11:01:00
