This was a great base for our family's vacation to Brooklyn and Manhattan. The apartment is just as pictured and had everything we needed for two adults and two children. Parking was easy, and subway stations with local and express lines were a short walk away. Adam was great to work with in helping us know where to park and checking to see if we needed anything during our stay. 24 March 2017 - 17:20:00

This apartment had everything we needed and then some. Plenty of room and storage space for our family of four, including 11 and 13 year-old boys. The room with the bunk beds was perfect. The apartment was up-to-date with decor and furnishings, and the full kitchen with dishes and cooking necessities saved us on breakfast every day. Shampoo, hand soap, and paper towels were supplied and were much appreciated. There were several bodegas within walking distance, as well as the subway directly to Manhattan. Best of all was Adam, who was friendly and knowledgeable about the city, as well as being a very courteous host. Stay here; you will be glad you did! :) 15 April 2017 - 16:12:00

Enjoyed our four day stay in this townhouse while we visited NYC. As it was our family's first visit to NYC we were very pleased with the location and surrounding environment. Adam was very quick to return our emails. We had some special needs that he worked with us to resolve. Came home after dark from the subway most nights and never felt unsafe. While the house is a little closer to 25th st metro, 36th st is a better station. Had to park our full size van down at the end of the street when we first arrived but later that same day a space came open right in front of the town house that we were able to park our vehicle in for the rest of the week. We had two adults and four teens and the house mostly fit our needs. Two of the teens slept in the living room on an air mattress. I probably would suggest this as more for a group of four. Kitchen was well stocked with what we needed and the bathroom worked just fine for even six people. Adam was around all the time and was helpful to chat with. Only suggestion I would have was I was not able to find any working outlets in the master bedroom, ended up buying an extension cord at the local dollar store by the 25th st. metro station to have power outlets in the master. I never asked Adam about this so maybe there is an outlet I did not see. Overall a good experience and I would not hesitate to work with Adam and stay at this location for another visit. 22 April 2017 - 23:16:00

Thank you Adam for your kindness and help during our stay. He always answered any text or call I made to him and helped any way he could. We had a great girl vacay and If I ever come back to your city, I would love to stay again. Very comfortable and felt safe. Convenient to subway station going into Manhattan but Brooklyn has ALOT to offer so make sure to explore that great city as well. My only issue if you call it that, being we were all girls staying there...we would have loved more mirrors (especially full length) and electrical outlets. Other than that it was comfortable, clean and perfect for what we needed with a group of 4. 24 May 2017 - 04:11:00

The property/apartment was everything we needed. Very convenient to everything. The owner was also great and checked with us to see if we needed anything and also let us check in early and check out late to maximize our time in NYC. 05 May 2017 - 01:16:00

I loved the photos of this property, and it didn't disappoint. We had a few conditions for where we wanted to stay: a cozy place but where we could spread out a bit; a good spot for a family with kids; air conditioning; safety, parking, and access to the subway. This place met all our needs. It's small, but the 4 of us fit nicely (2 adults and 2 kids). We didn't feel cramped at all. The kitchen seems well equipped. We used the dishes for cereal and such, but ended up not cooking. From what I can see, all the essential equipment is there if you want to eat in and save some money. There are even some spices and basic goods in the pantry. The main bedroom has the most comfortable bed. We slept great (though Adam, the owner, attributes that to NYC being a walk-a-thon.) The bunk beds are cozy and the bathroom is beautiful. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. Good TV channels are available if someone wants to chill for a bit. We drove right to it with the GPS , and could park right in front. When we had to move our car, we were able to park less than a full block away, so that was never a problem. There are 2 subway stations close by for travel to Manhattan or the other boroughs- one was closed for maintenance, but the other one served us just fine. We felt safe walking to and from the subway and on the subway itself. Our girls loved that part of the trip! This unit is in walking distance of a gas station/convenience store for easy access to milk, drinks, etc. We also walked to the best pizza place several blocks away. We were able to enjoy Brooklyn on foot and by car. Finally, Adam is awesome to work with. He's very friendly and available to answer questions or give suggestions, but didn't hover - the perfect combination. He has a nice place, and if you want something at a good price, I highly recommend this location. 29 June 2017 - 21:19:00

We fully enjoyed our stay! We were looking for the NYC experience and that's what we got. Adam was extremely hospitable and very helpful. He has two units in the same townhouse I can definitely see having a very large family/group using both units and be very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and very safe. Not that it's needed but if you need the reassurance there is a police station right around the corner I definitely recommend staying here. Thanks Adam for being such a good sport! 03 July 2017 - 18:01:00

I have stated many VRBO properties and Adam by far is the most accommodating host I've ever had. The apartment was very clean, the neighborhood was safe, and I felt the apar, tment temperatures was cool enough even in the summertime. We have 3 kids & used an air mattress & all were comfy. I recommend using the ferry out of Sunset Park to get to Manhattan, it has free parking and is a fun way to get there. We would definitely stay here again! 09 July 2017 - 01:29:00

This is an adorable apartment with plenty of room for our family of six. Two twin beds, sofa, double air mattress, and a double bed. Kitchen is great for cooking and eating breakfast. Air conditioning works fine to cool the space even after being off all day while we were out. Close to the 25th street subway hitting all the local stops and the 36th street stops to hit the Express trains. Took us 20 minutes to get to Coney Island, 35 minutes on the Express during rush hour to Penn station, about 45 to Central Park. Easy walk to the grocery, laundry mat, bakery, and plenty of places to eat. I highly recommend Paracas if your looking for nice atmosphere and delicious Peruvian food. Will defiantly use the rental again when we are ready to comes back. 15 July 2017 - 22:47:00

We, a family of five from Germany stayed in Adam's apartment for three nights. It's a great location when visiting New York City. There are two express trains on 36th street (!) which take about 15-20 minutes to Times Square or Rockefeller center. Parking was really no problem at all. For our purposes, being away all day long and coming back mainly for sleeping the apartment was ideal. The shower was great (good pressure) and the main bed was very comfortable. The first night it was hard to get to sleep because of the noise from the express way nearby. If you are used to sleeping with air condition on it won't bother you though. Adam, please check the airbed before your rent the apartment next time! Since there are only a small table and two chairs we had our breakfast in shifts. A few more dishes (for six) would be perfect. Adam is as nice and friendly as described! All in all we had a great stay there. We can highly recommend industry city (Adam's tip) which is only a few blocks away and which offers food and life concerts at night. 02 August 2017 - 10:59:00

We spent a long weekend (summer 2017) at this cozy Brooklyn home and thought that it was very convenient. The owners Adam and Amita were very friendly and helpful. My only con would be to ask for better ventilation in the second bedroom with the bunk beds. 18 August 2017 - 15:29:00

An updated space. Adam was a pleasure to work with. Quick to respond and very helpful. A short walk to the subway with plenty of stores and restaurants close by. We enjoyed our stay there. 29 August 2017 - 18:05:00

This place was amazing. We had a really good time. Mr and Mrs Rodriguez even went out of their way to accommodate a special request. I will definitely stay here for the next time I am back in NYC 08 October 2017 - 16:29:00

I was in Brooklyn for work and Adam was an excellent host. He was always available if I had any questions, and he checked on me during my stay to ensure that everything was going ok. The apartment was spotless, sheets and towels were provided and were clean, and there was great tv and internet. Sunset Park is also a true Brooklyn neighborhood, unlike Brooklyn Heights, DUMBO, Williamsburg, Bushwick, etc. that have all undergone major gentrification and (in my opinion) lost some of their character. Would definitely stay here again. 13 October 2017 - 15:41:00

Our family of 4 were very happy, cozy and satisfied as Mr. & Mrs. Rodriquez were very welcoming, pleasant and polite. The apartment was very clean and well kept. Kids love the bunk beds, we enjoyed the welcome binder with food tips, the coffee & coffee maker, the firm mattress, and of course Mr. Softee ;-). Would definitely consider staying here again and definitely recommend it. THANK YOU! The Acosta Family 03 October 2017 - 17:59:00

Adam was a friendly host who checked in with us after our arrival to make sure we had all we needed. The space was perfect for 2 adults and our 2 kids--bunk room was small but enough for sleeping and we didn't use the stove, but could have, as well as microwave. We did make use of the coffee pot and fridge. Comfortable couch/love seat. Also, it was unseasonably hot and humid but there were 2 window unit air conditioners to help. Love the quiet neighborhood and not far from the subway. First night we walked to a good Italian restaurant. 10 October 2017 - 11:20:00

I stayed in this apartment with my husband and three children for our family vacation. It was very clean and spacious. Adam was more than welcoming when we arrived. He was a great host and provided us with an air bed and a fan for one of the rooms. There was plenty of parking not too far from the apartment. The neighborhood was quite and the subway station was a quick walk from the apartment. There were plenty of restaurants and mini marts near by. I highly recommend Luigi's Pizza, they have a pick up special on Wednesdays, which we took advantage of. The kitchen is stocked with some appliances and I was able to make breakfast for my family a couple of times. I would definitely recommend this apartment if you are planning to travel to NY and I would stay again. 24 July 2016 - 21:03:25

We enjoyed our stay here. Adam was friendly, quick to respond when we needed something, and gave helpful information/recommendations. The place was clean enough, and the neighborhood was quiet. We were a group of 5 adults and fit comfortably utilizing the air mattress. We appreciated the location of a gas station (with a Dunkin Donts inside) that was a 2 minute walk away. Our only challenge was not having enough mirrors for 3 girls to get ready when 5 people were sharing the bathroom and the only mirror was in there! 09 November 2017 - 03:30:00

The apartment was OK but a little scruffy. Bathroom really really tiny. Bedroom 2 really really tiny. Bed linen thin, old and bobbly. No kettle in the kitchen - so boiling a saucepan for hot water drinks. The 'air conditioning' was completely inadequate. We were there in June and it was 35 degrees C in the day time and 30 degrees C at night. The air con cooled the kitchen and lounge a little, but didn't reach the bedrooms, which made it difficult to sleep at night. The neighbourhood was noisy with people and we could hear the underground/trains. We also think the estimated time to travel into central manhattan was way too optimistic. It's a 7 - 10 min walk to the station before you start on your train journey. The owner needs to tidy up 'stuff' the apartment, particularly in the bedroom cupboards. Also, it was scary in the main bedroom when those staying upstairs came home late at night - you felt like they might just walk in on you. Main bedroom door is on to the entrance corridor. Sorry Adam - you were lovely, but the apartment wasn't quite up to scratch. 26 June 2017 - 08:31:00

This apartment was great. It had everything we needed for our family. The subway was around a 7 min walk. The N express train is a quick way into the city. Would definitely stay here again. Adam was a wonderful host. 23 December 2017 - 19:03:00
