Very clean. Location was just great. Bed was comfortable. So much convenience in this space. Loved it! Plan on using again on our next visit to NY! 20 September 2017 - 20:51:00

Cons: Neighborhood a little sketchy. Disappointed on the quality of the apartment. Some paint is definitely needed and the curtains need to be replaced or at least washed. They give better towels to prisoners. Not completely sure the bedding was cleaned. One of the nights during our stay they had major road construction going on from 11pm to 4am. Pros: It is within walking distance from several restaurants and subway. The bed is comfortable. 23 September 2017 - 14:42:00

This was our first trip into the city and I didn't want to stay at a hotel. From reviews on other listings I knew that the city could be noisy and expected that. If you don't want to "hear" the city then book a hotel. But if you want the NYC experience, this is the spot you want!! You are so close to everything. Literally there are 2 restaurants just outside and even a laundromat on one corner. Corner markets are on every block. Just about every kind of restaurant/take out you could ask for is within walking distance. It's maybe a 10 minute walk to Times Square and you are only blocks off 2 subway stations that can take you anywhere else you want to go. Our Uber from LGA was about a 40 minute ride and the rest of the week we went everywhere either on foot or by subway. And while you are close to everything, this unit is just far enough off the beaten path as to be a quiet street (for NYC). The only thing I would suggest to change is to not use sheer curtains. The lower part of the windows do have the old fashioned shutters for blinds, but they do leave just enough opening that I would prefer a solid window covering - especially at night to block view from the street. However to rectify that, we simply took our towels and hung them over the shutters at night - this worked great for drying the towels and blocking the street view - problem solved. Perfect location, perfect sized space (for 2) and a great price in the city. 17 October 2017 - 14:56:00

Nice clean place within walking distance to Time Square and Broadway shows, yet quiet so you can sleep. Lots of places to eat...all kinds of food! Place looks just like the pictures and the owner was very easy to work with. 16 July 2014 - 15:51:26

The street was quiet, safe, and not far from subways, Times Square and Rockefeller Center. The room is big enough for two people only; the air conditioner is terrible, old and doesn't keep room cool. Plus. the two windows have sheer curtains and anybody from the street can see you at night. The owner and her assistant were helpful and provide easy access to unit. 23 August 2015 - 17:05:33

This little studio was very clean and comfortable with plenty of space for our luggage, bags and clothes. We enjoyed our stay very much. Nice size bathroom and very clean. My daughter and I shared the king size bed and had plenty of room. It was definitely close to everything and quiet. Some of the electrical outlets did not work so be careful where you plug in your phone charger. It would have been nice to have some extra paper products like toilet tissue and paper towels but aside from that I highly recommend. 25 August 2015 - 18:59:58

We stayed here for a few days while visiting NYC - location is very convenient to all the sights to see.... Only Reason not 5 stars - would suggest a new mattress (current one is futon pad) and top window coverings (room stays very bright due to outside lights) overall a good spot and owner was very friendly 14 November 2015 - 14:45:50

Overall we liked staying here, but there are a few details in the listing that potential tenants may want to investigate before renting. In the description it mentions 3 people can stay here. Possibly another bed is brought in if a 3rd person rents, but not sure how a 3rd person could possibly fit in this small of a space. It was a stretch for the 2 of us. There is not really a queen bed either. The day bed has 2 twin mattresses put together to create the larger bed pictured. The overlook of a "private garden" is not really a garden in my opinion. It's an enclosed area where trash cans are kept that you can not access with your key. There are no plants in it at all. The full kitchen does not have hot pads, a dish towel, cutting board or counter space. We had to use a hand towel from the bathroom to pick up hot pots off the TWO RING stove. Listing says 4 ring. There is no laundry basket unless you count the bathroom trash can. There is also a hairdryer in the bathroom now. That's nice, but the listing should be updated so that people like me don't bring theirs for no reason. We did like the area & would stay in near by again if we visit again, but we would pick a different apartment for variety & cooking convenience next time. 04 June 2016 - 18:59:28

You get exactly what you see in the pictures! This studio is perfect. I stayed here from Sunday - Friday, and it was exactly what I what I needed: a bed and shower. However it's so much more. I loved having the kitchenette and TV too! The neighborhood is quiet, and I felt very safe in it and in the building. The unit was clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was tidy, the towels were fluffy. It is within walking distance to Times Square, Central Park, and the Garment District. I walked everywhere! Perfect for one-three people. I highly recommend this building. 28 October 2017 - 14:14:00

My wife and I spent 6 wonderful days here and loved everything about it. The apartment was cozy, had a really comfortable bed and great shower....two of my most important things when looking for a place. If I were to have a complaint I would only say is if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs as there is some noise from the street. The noise didn't effect me at all but it did wake my wife up a couple times. What I really loved about this place was where it was situated. You were a fifteen minute walk to either Columbus Circle/Central Park or 10-15 minute walk to Times Square and Broadway. We also really loved 9th and 10th ave which are just out your door and have endless dining options and lots of great pubs/bars and taverns. All in all a perfect place for you New York adventure, can't wait to visit again! 14 November 2017 - 14:54:00

The location of this apartment was the perfect walking distance from Times Square and the subway--just far enough from the noise and crowds, but still close enough to be there in under 10 minutes. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the apartment, and the very comfortable bed. We would absolutely recommend this apartment and would very happily stay there again! 13 October 2017 - 20:54:00

We were pleasantly surprised at the size and how it accommodated the cot which was set up for our daughter. It was easy to find and access, just a couple of blocks down from Broadway and an easy walk to the subway and Times Square. Just a couple of things to be aware of. The windows are very thin, and the neighbours were quite loud. Especially on the Friday night, visiting right under the window where we were sleeping, until just before 3am until our daughter got up and asked them to please be a little quieter. They soon moved inside, for which we were very thankful. The other thing was that we couldnt figure out how to turn down the heat and it was quite toasty in the apartment. Very warm actually... but having said that, we didnt actually contact the hostess to ask how to turn the heat down. I am sure she would have helped us if we had asked as she was very polite and hospitable while we were arriving. This was our first visit to New York City from Vancouver Island in BC, Canada. It was a very good experience for us! Thank you for helping to make our stay memorable. 20 November 2017 - 20:19:00

Can't beat the location. Great for walking to shows and Central Park and lots of restaurants to choose from. I agree with other reviewers: bring earplugs! Comfy bed but the place needs freshened. 15 December 2017 - 20:23:00

Sinon, viter! La preuve: j'en ai pleurer et on a fini l'htel. 13 March 2016 - 10:15:00
