BUSINESS TRAVELER READY Laptop Friendly Workspace available for business travelers! In case you contact me and I don't write back, it means I didn't get your message. I just found out from someone that they wrote me and it didn't go through. So, if I don't write back, please write me again! Large 2 bedroom with stainless steal appliances/dishwasher. Recreation center and Olympic size pool are right around the corner. Near lots of beautiful community gardens and parks. Also, close to many new clubs and bars but located on quiet block. 4 people can comfortably stay, but there is also a pull out couch for 1-2 extra guests. I also have a blow up mattress and a camping mat that both accommodate 1 person. The place can sleep a total of 8 people, but it is only a 2 bedroom so if you feel you need more space pls rent a 3 or 4 bedroom apartment. I am open to letting up to 8 people stay, but I want you to decide if this is enough room for you before you arrive. Please do not book the place and then say it is not enough space. if you need more space, pls book a bigger apartment. I cannot determine how much space you and your party need. However, I am open to providing affordable accommodation. I have had parties of 6-8 people all say it was plenty of space. I have also have a party of 6 who complained that it was not enough space. I can only tell you how much space it is. Then you can decide if the space is right for you. If it is not big enough, there are bigger apartments for rent. The apartment is about 750 square feet. This is a no smoking apartment. Please no smoking of any kind in the apartment. You are welcome to smoke on the shared patio or shared roof top. Street parking, elevator, shared roof access, shared patio access. There is also a pull out couch. Shampoo, sheets, and towels are all available. Very vibrant, and full of lively restaurants, bars, and galleries The apartment is located on a quiet street. However, not a sterile completely gentrified neighborhood like the Upper East Side or TriBeCa. It takes 12 minutes to walk to the F train entrance at Houston and 1st Ave(this stop is called the 2nd Ave stop), and 20 minutes to walk to the Delancy St. F train. All off the buses are steps away. The 14D bus comes every 3-4 minutes, the M9 bus comes every 15 minutes, and the M21 bus comes every 1/2 hour. If you are very organized you can take the M21 bus to the 2nd Street F train. I however hate waiting so I usually walk to the entrance at 1st and Houston. The diversity, the nice people, the art galleries, all the new shops, bars, and restaurants on Ave C. The funky vibe, the vibrant artsy atmosphere, etc. "A great neighbourhood covered in restaurants, bars, cafes, and shopping options. A friend and I visited many other areas in the city and still thought that the LES and East Village was the most exciting. it is perfectly safe and certainly full of life and activity". Please read my reviews for more information regarding the neighborhood or ask me anything you would like to know. The closes subway is 12 minutes away, and there are 2 buses that will bring you to the subway in 1-3 minutes. I offer Amazon Fire TV, Sling TV, HBO, Netflix, ESPN, etc. The cleaning fee includes clean sheets, towels, cleaning before you come, and after you leave. If you require extra cleanings, there will be a fee based on what you need. The apartment away from the Nuyorican Poets Cafe and The Stone. Disclaimer-A photo of all of the front and back of the IDs of all occupants at the time of booking is required. No 3rd party bookings. If anyone who shows up does not match up with their ID, the entire party will be turned away without a refund. Ask me for my photo!

Lisa's place was AMAZING! It was in the perfect location, with many places to eat, shops and easy access to public transportation. We had a family of 5 in NYC for a week. The apartment was very clean and neat. We had enough room for all of us. She kept in contact with us from the day we made our reservation and was very accommodating. She has a very lovely view from the top of the building. We had a beautiful view of the Empire State Building at night. I hope to visit again and would absolutely recommend her place. This was our first time booking a rental, and I was not sure how it would go. But she was AWESOME! If it is your first time renting an apartment for NYC! This is the place to stay! Thank you Lisa! We hope to meet again! 03 June 2017 - 00:09:00

This place was awesome. My family of 7 which included my young children really loved the place. About a 20 minute walk with small ones to the closest subway. Adults can make it in 10 minutes easy. You can also take the bus from the residence to the subway if you don't want to walk to subway. It's a quiet place to stay while visiting NYC. The neighborhood around the apartment has a lot of clubs and bars for younger adults. We would walk by them every night and the crowd was really nice. Very happening place! The top of the apartment has a place to chill on the rooftop with the most amazing view of the city. All 7 ( 4 adults 3 small children under 11) of us slept comfortably with no problem. The lady who's place it is was very nice and you could contact her by cell phone immediately if you needed to. We were out every night till midnight or a little past that and we walked home every night without any issues. If you want to experience NYC like a true New Yorker then this is the place to stay. Download the subway app and you can get anywhere you need to get be in a short walk from this apartment. 09 August 2016 - 16:09:00

We had a great experience renting this apartment. The building was very clean and the apartment was as well. There were five adults from 19-54 and one child of 12 years of age. The only situation was all sharing one bathroom....there were four women. We didnt spend much time in the neighborhood or the apartment as we did a lot of sight seeing. The neighborhood has a great Bohemian Flair and a lot of night life for the college age groups. We became familiar right away and eventually learned how to navigate the subway Etc.....The best part was the communication and kindness of the owner. She was wonderful and gave us a lot of valuable information about everything. I would def choose this apartment again if I am ever in the city visiting. It was a very tiring but invigorating vacation. 21 August 2017 - 18:57:00

Our host, Ann, was very accommodating and generous. She met us at the apartment and showed us everything. She bought us milk, OJ and cereal, which was a nice touch. Whenever we had a question she responded very promptly. The apartment is well equipped. The water pressure in the shower is good, and Ann provided us with ample towels. The air conditioning is much better than what I experienced in other NY apartments. Rather than a window unit which only blows straight, each bedroom has a large unit which cools the whole room. The bedrooms have a lot of storage, and the closets had many hangers. The neighborhood can, most charitably, be described as transitional. It doesn't feel dangerous in any way, but it is sketchy. 24 September 2017 - 23:25:00

Ann was a great host and we loved the apartment and surrounding area. The apartment was neat, clean, and exactly like the photos. We were pleasantly surprised. The neighborhood is not a completely gentrified area like the Upper East side or TriBeCa, but we found it to be the most exciting and fun out of the places we visited. The East Village was fun, exciting, right near all the hot spots and the Lower East Side, and yet we could come back to the flat and have peace, quiet, and get a good rest. The apartment is very comfortable as well. The beds were great and also super fast wifi. Really a good deal, and a very kind, and sweet host who was always willing to point us in the right direction. Oh, also great water pressure in the shower and a big bathroom. 08 March 2015 - 08:55:11

Ann was a fantastic host, and couldn't have done anything more! She was helpful, knowledgeable and kind - we had a wonderful time staying at her apartment. The apartment itself is perfect for a trip to New York. The two bedrooms are great - plenty of storage space, comfortable beds, clean sheets, and a quiet street allowing for a good night's sleep. The living room is a nice place to relax, with ultra fast WIFI. The location was excellent - surrounding restaurants and bars are plentiful, and the transport access is a mere 10-15 mins walk away (subway). We wouldn't hesitate to stay at Ann's apartment again. 09 March 2015 - 12:41:33

This apartment was awesome. It was a great location because we could walk to almost everywhere we were trying to go. The beds were super comfortable and the apartment was in great shape. It is a 2 bedroom which was nice because we had 4 people in our group. The kitchen and bathroom were very clean. The host even had a guide in the room for cheap transportation and food and bar choices nearby. I would highly recommend this place especially for multiple people. 16 March 2015 - 18:20:03

A great neighbourhood covered in restaurants, bars, cafes, and shopping options. A friend and I visited many other areas in the city and still thought that the LES and East Village was the most exciting. Possibly there will be a bit of a shock for those used to pristine clean, homeless free neighbourhoods, but it is perfectly safe and certainly full of life and activity. The apartment was perfect and as described and pictured. Clean with 2 comfortable bedrooms, modern kitchen and great shower with plenty of hot water and sufficient flow. Lisa was the best kind of host you can hope for. Extremely attentive and quick to respond to any issues or queries we had. She was really friendly and welcoming. I would not hesitate to stay here again. 22 March 2015 - 02:04:26

This wonderful apartment is true to its description. My family and friends enjoyed staying here. Anna is a great host who was always readily available with any questions or concerns. The neighborhood is quiet and has all the necessities within a walking distance. Such a great place to stay in the city. We are looking forward to our next stay and hope to have the opportunity to rent it out once again! Thank you Anna for making us feel so welcomed :) 05 April 2015 - 02:08:44

I recommend staying here it's a good location for restaurants and bars! Taxis are easy to get from this location and the subway. Although the subway system was confusing for us it may be easy for the next person! We used mostly taxis. There is a pizza place down the street that was good and a grocery store a blk away (they do delivery). Also, located about a blk 1/2 is a Walgreens which was nice to have! Anna was a great hostess although I was unable to meet her for being out of town. She made sure all our needs were meet she contacted us to make sure everything was good. Thank you Anna, for making us feel at home! 30 July 2015 - 12:38:35

We had a great time in Anna's apartment! It was big, clean, and comfortable. The neighborhood is really quiet, but close to a lot of great restaurants and galleries. The people in the area of very nice and helpful. Anna made herself available to answer our questions, was friendly, and welcoming. The apartment is neat, clean, well-stocked and exactly like the photos. The beds are super comfortable and the apartment was in great shape. The apartment is a short walk to the subway stations and it is a short ride to downtown, mid-town, and even the Upper East Side. Also close to a grocery store and many restaurants. Anna is a great host who was always readily available with any questions and is friendly and welcoming. I look forward to returning. 19 September 2015 - 05:22:50

Lisa is a lovely and very helpful host. Our days at Lisa's apartmente where great. The location of the apartment also is great, it's near the metro and bus stop. The aparment is very cocy, clean, neat and big, almost for 6 people, exactly like the photos. I went with my parents and girlfriend and the apartment suited exelent. Especially for the traveler with previous experience in NYC, this charming apartment has a lot going for it, perhaps foremost being the attention of your host Ann. The space is roomy, the appointments are very satisfying, the neighborhood is vibrant, the location is great, and the rooftop view is a great way to end each day of activities. With Katz's deli and Russ & Daughters (get the salmon, the whitefish spread, roe and a bagel for a stunning breakfast!) nearby along with several great restaurants in the area a visitor would have a great time just walking, but the subway is nearby putting you at the precipice of unending opportunity. We were two couples there for a week, and we hope to come visit Ann again. 29 May 2016 - 19:31:35

This apartment is wonderful. I stayed there with my two teenagers for 5 days. The apartment is on a quiet street but is close to many wonderful restaurants and nightlife. The apartment had a wonderful kitchen, the bedrooms were a great size as well as a bathroom. The apartment was very clean and had all the linens needed. We were there during a very hot time in NYC and the air condition was very well to cool us down. I highly recommend this nice place to stay when you are visiting the city. 25 July 2016 - 20:58:24

Hello, my group and I were very pleased with this apartment and our stay. Ann was there to fully accommodate and really wanted to be sure we enjoyed our stay! We really enjoyed the area and public transportation was really convenient. The area is lively and cultural with many local places to dine, drink and shop. The local places were very energetic and streets were busy with people out and about. What I really like is having busy days and a quiet place to sleep at night with comfy beds!! The apartment is cute, clean, comfortable, equipped and has a gated entry. Parking is available out front. I would highly suggest this rental to friends and anyone else. In my opinion this is the way to go and much more comfortable than a hotel. Along with the comfort it is also a great way to experience New York. I hope to go back and I would definitely stay at Ann's place again!! 30 November 2015 - 21:18:29
We spent a week in Ann's apartment and it was perfect : very comfortable, cosy, fully equiped. The district is quiet at night, you are close to subway and many shops, supermarkets and nice restaurants. After hours of walk in the city, you can really rest at the apartment (important detail : beds are wonderful). Ann was very helpfull and she did her best to answer to our concerns, the communication is easy with her and she's so nice. I highly recommend this location ! Big crush ! 17 November 2015 - 07:46:25

Was good. Apartment felt roomy and bright. Kitchen area nice. Some minor issues with the furniture and TV., but not a big deal. Building is small and quiet and in good shape. Street is mostly residential and more or less quiet. Rooftop was nice view. The neighborhood was very interesting and lots of different types of stores, restaurants, clubs everywhere. No chain stores in sight, very local feel. Very few obvious tourists or tourist traps. In the evening just go for a walk and you will find many unique places to go very near by. A bit further Chinatown, Soho, etc. all in walking distance. Some strange ones around, but felt safe even late at night. Grocery store very close. Subway a bit of a walk if you are in a hurry, but not ridiculous. Street parking is scarce, but was able to find a spot. Owner was available and helpful. 12 December 2017 - 16:17:00
