About listing

Exceptional Find! Located in the heart of Hoboken. Close to parks, waterfront, restaurants, bistros and bars, this charming apartment has everything you need for your NYC visit. It's steps away from the bus, Path & Ferry - closer to midtown than Brooklyn or the Upper East! Beautifully decorated, it includes a fully equipped and 'basics' stocked kitchen. Nothing worse than renting an apartment for a few days and having to buy garbage bags, paper towels, laundry detergent, etc. When we say stocked, we mean it! It's the perfect place to unwind with family or friends. Comfortably sleeps 5, with Queens in each BR, and full futon. Built in 1901, the back of the building over looks the Hudson can lie in your bed and look out on the Empire state building. The front of the building offers a private terrace, perfect for unwinding with a glass of wine! This apartment is new to short term listings, is freshly painted, with new bedding, towels, brand new 50" smart TV, & beautiful furnishings.

This apartment is even more spacious and elegant than the photos indicate. We thoroughly enjoyed spending Christmas with our adult children here. The views of the New York skyline from the property are better than what you see in the city. We enjoyed the walk to the Path station to sightsee and had a few great meals in Hoboken also. The hosts are very welcoming. A charming place to stay! 27 December 2016 - 16:40:00

I stayed with Diane and Jay for a few weeks and they were the most amazing hosts. The apartment itself is exactly how it is pictured, if not nicer. The apartment was extremely clean, furniture was top notch, all clean towels, sheets, pillows, blankets etc. kitchen has everything you would basically ever need also. Location was perfect on a quiet street just off the busy streets of Hoboken with the most amazing views of NYC. Diane was available whenever we needed her and was more than accommodating to anything we needed, going above and beyond. There is a great binder in the apartment of the best restaurants, directions and events around town. Would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone and would love to stay with them again!! Thanks to Diane and Jay! 17 April 2017 - 00:02:00

We stayed here from 31st-May to 5th-June. This apartment location is fantastic and was a real home from home for us. There are great views to Manhattan island and the Empire State building. The apartment was extremely well presented and has all you will require for any self catering requirements you may have. It is also well located to some fantastic restaurants only a short stroll away. Our particular favourite was Anthony David's on Bloomfield Street (BYOW)-(3 Min Walk) Diane has been very helpful in providing information on the services available locally in the information book provided, and has been particularly helpful to us in relation to a delayed bag by our airline. One transport tip I would suggest is to use the river ferry from Pier 14 for visits to the Central Park area, which would save a good chunk of time and leg work. We would certainly stay here again and would highly recommend this stunning comfortable apartment. 08 June 2017 - 11:37:00

What a wonderful place to stay in Hoboken! We took our family of 5 on a trip to NY and choose Hoboken as our home base during the trip. Diane's home was perfect for us - walking distance to the main street in downtown Hoboken, close to fantastic restaurants and shops, and walking distance to the train for downtown. The extra nook with the futon was perfect for our teenager - and the bedrooms and living areas are very nice and well cared for. We had everything we needed clean towels, bedding, coffee and plenty of hot water for all of us to shower every morning! The view of downtown NY was awesome from the bedroom! Overall - awesome place and we would highly recommend it to anyone going to NY. Thanks Diane! 13 June 2017 - 19:37:00

Very conveniently located only a 2 block walk to the bus that takes you to Port Authority. Never had to wait longer than 5 minutes. The trip back is just as easy. Beautiful part less than 1/2 block walk, with access to the riverbank, and all of the activity there. Quiet street. Always someone out jogging. People we came in contact with were very friendly! 21 August 2017 - 23:05:00

Room, and more room to relax and enjoy on a very private and quiet street along eastern edge of Hoboken, literally steps away from a beautiful park perched above the Hudson River. The views of NYC are amazing, especially during late afternoon at sunset. The apartment home is beautifully furnished and was a wonderful setting for our Thanksgiving dinner for 6. Quality bed linens and stemware, board games and updated electronics all made our family feel very much at home. The owners live downstairs and are very accommodating hosts, having anticipated virtually anything that a visitor might need. A separate entrance provides a real sense of privacy and security. Shopping is an enjoyable 5 minute stroll away, with numerous restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Uber and Lyft were always minutes from our door, and the bus stop into NYC Is a convenient two blocks away. The bright lights of Manhattan across the river never dim at night, but stepping away from the noise and crowds each evening was a welcome respite. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return visit! 01 December 2017 - 01:33:00

We decided to deviate from the rest of the family's plans to stay at the W Hotel for a wedding and opted to get a house for our family (2 adults and 2 kids) and boy were we glad we did! The house was just perfect for us! It was in a great location for getting to and from NYC as well as the grocery store and loads of food options! Diane had picked up a parking permit for the time we were there and we were able to park right by the house every night without issue. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The view out the back windows was amazing and balcony out front was loved by our kids! We were even lucky enough to arrive to snow, which was a huge deal for this Florida family! We would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking to avoid a hotel room for their stay. Also, we had great communication with Diane and she made sure we had everything we needed. She also prevented a ticket for us being parked in the wrong spot on the street! Thanks again for making our trip so enjoyable!! The Tiseos 23 December 2017 - 03:04:00

Everything was very much as advertised except the parking. Location to the bus stop to Port Authorities was very close and the PATH was a very beautiful short walk away. The resident itself was nice with all the amenities needed (but beware of the broken stairway as the railing is not up to par.) Beds were comfortable and towels were nice. Overall, place was exceptional and included all the small items (coffee, napkins, etc.). Parking was a hassle as we had to, first, find a parking spot, and then had to move it in the middle of the day (Wed) for street cleaning when we wanted to be in the city. This was not explained to us and very much an inconvenience. Overall, this was a very nice facility. Thank you for our stay. 01 January 2018 - 00:08:00
