It was a cute apartment in a great neighborhood. Everything with the owner was smooth and easy. Thank you. 21 May 2017 - 23:53:00

Our family of four stayed at the apartment for eight days during a heat wave in July. Ellis kindly provided an air mattress, so our two teenagers shared the living room (one on the mattress, one on the fold-out couch) while my husband and I slept on the incredibly comfortable bed. The air conditioning and fans kept us cool despite the 36+ degree heat (oops, that's in the 90s for you Americans!). We used the kitchen quite a bit, and found everything we needed to make simple meals; the local grocery store, just two blocks away, was well stocked. We really enjoyed the neighbourhood, took advantage of some great activities in local parks (the free community theatre production of Priscilla Queen of the Desert was fantastic!) and shopped in downtown Brooklyn. We also took in Coney Island and Brooklyn Heights, as well as the more "obvious" destinations in Manhattan. Since we were there for eight days, we got one-week passes for the subway and really got our money's worth. Lower Manhattan is only about 20 minutes away, and we had no troubles with the subway despite hearing that there were problems with the system. All in all, the accommodation was everything we could have hoped for; if we ever go back to NYC, we will definitely be in touch. 03 August 2017 - 03:53:00

We really enjoyed our stay at this property in Park Slope Brooklyn. The owners were very helpful with all of our questions. We would probably stay there again. The shower area was a bit cramped, but other than that, it was fine. 05 October 2017 - 17:33:00

We couldnt have been happier with our stay at this apartment. The location is great- near to the subway and all that Park Slope has to offer. The apartment is spacious, gets nice sun, has great furniture, and lots of cool art work to look at. There is no heat control in the unit, so on a cold winter's day it was a little toasty (though that felt pretty good after being out and about all day!)- cracking the windows did the trick to cool it down a bit. It was also really handy that the couch turns into an extra bed in the living room. We didnt use the kitchen but it appears to come with everything you need. Ellis was very responsive before and during our stay and made sure we were as comfortable as possible (email or telephone is the best way to reach him). We would definitely stay here again! 26 March 2017 - 19:57:00

This apartment is charming, spacious, and comfortable. It is also bright and quiet. After babysitting our granddaughter who lives around the corner, we looked forward to returning to the apartment for a bit of R&R and March Madness on the flat screen TV! We used the well equipped kitchen minimally- morning coffee and storage of restaurant leftovers. The bathroom is small but works just fine. Ellis, the owner, is more than helpful and easy to reach if needed. I highly recommend this spot and would happily re-up! 03 April 2017 - 20:29:00

This apartment is adorable and kitted out with everything one could need. The queen bed is extremely comfortable, the AC units work well, the WiFi is fast, the kitchen is perfectly stocked -- I could go on and on. The neighborhood is just unbeatable. It's safe, full of wonderful food, fun bars, parks, grocery stores, etc. Long story short, my husband and I absolutely loved our stay. Plus, the owner is friendly and easy to work with. I'd highly recommend this spot. It's a good deal for the price, and I expect you won't want to leave once you're here, either. We plan to come back as soon as we can! (FWIW, we're digital nomads trying out life in Brooklyn, but I could see this place suiting almost anyone.) 16 April 2017 - 23:33:00
