My family and I really enjoyed the sandbucket. It was clean and spaciousness. Walking distance to the beach and not lots of young loud kids everywhere. Not a place really for night life and that was fine with us. I hope to come back to mexico.beach soon. 07 July 2016 - 22:12:00

Our visit was the perfect picture stay. The weather was wonderful and we spent most of our time at the beach (or in the case of our guys - at the pier). The home was exactly what we needed for a comfortable vacation. Plenty of room (3 full bathrooms!), fully stocked kitchen, a grill, a screened in balcony on the second floor, and near everything we wanted (beach, pier, marina, etc). The food!! Local food favorites include Killer Seafood, Toucans, The Fish House for dinner and Cast-Away for breakfast. Some shopping was done as well in Mexico Beach and St. Joe. Thankfully we left as Tropical Storm Collin was making an appearance. We got lucky. We were able to rent beach equipment from VayK and that made our packing easier. Everything we needed was there waiting for us when we arrived. There is a small walk to the beach but the wagon helped tremendously. We would love to come again some time and have chosen this spot as a favorite for summer vacation. One suggestion - have a basket or container to put the pretty throw pillows from the couch in so they don't go on the floor. We put them on the shelves in the game closet. Thanks for the use of your home! 07 June 2016 - 12:26:50

I had the good fortune to live in this home for nearly a year and see all the seasons of Mexico Beach. The beach is a 1-minute walk from the front porch, with gorgeous sunsets offered regularly, and it's temperate year-round. The best swimming is in late spring through early fall, but polar bear swimmers might even take the plunge in winter! Regardless of season, the town is a peaceful place to stay, with minimal crowds even on popular weekends. The house itself is comfortable and convenient, with every amenity you need down to towels, utensils, and family games. A/C and heating work great, and even the outdoor shower gets fresh hot water. The furniture is very comfy, but note that the twin-sized bunk beds in the extra bedroom are most suitable for children/young adults. The owners are a great couple, easy to work with, and the area is a wonderful place to stay. Mexico Beach is about equidistant from charming Port St. Joe and Panama City proper. Don't forget you can drive by the Air Force base and see some fighters fly! 09 January 2016 - 04:05:29

We normally stay at another condo at Mexico Beach and it was unavailable. We found your home and it could not have been a better fit for our family!! The location was great, as we did not have to cross the highway to get to the beach. We were in short walking distance from several restaurants and shopping. We loved the outdoor shower so we could clean up before coming inside. It comfortably slept all six of us. We had plenty of space. We would definitely love to stay here again. We greatly appreciated the owner personally contacting us to make sure our stay was enjoyable!!! 16 June 2016 - 22:14:36
