This was my Niece and Nephews first trip to Manhattan and I wanted them to have the greatest experience ever.We were kindly greeted upon arrival and once we saw our place, I was in love! We had plenty of towels, sheets and everything that we needed to make our stay comfy. The location was perfect. We loved it!! 24 September 2015 - 23:59:35

My family of 5 was in town for the NYC Marathon and this place was perfect! Plenty of towels and bedding and the location was perfect. The balcony was a great plus and gave a little extra room for the boys to move around. We would definitely stay here again. 05 November 2015 - 12:14:12

I stayed with my wife and two teenage daughters in the this rental for a week. We had a great time. The location was excellent. Lots of places to eat and stores nearby, and the 59th & Lex subway station was just a few blocks away. The apartment looks freshly painted inside, and the furnishings seem recently purchased from Ikea or someplace similar. The unit was very clean and we saw no bugs. The kitchen has a small gas range and no dishwasher. I was initially off-put by this, but it didn't matter because it was so easy to eat out. Sutton Pizza (on 1st) is really close (and cheap) and has great NY style pizza. Sprinkles on Lexington makes dynamite cupcakes. There is no washer/dryer, but there is a cleaner on the first floor of the building. Halfway though our stay, we had them wash our socks and so forth. It cost only $10.60. The unit has two in-window air conditioners which can keep the whole unit nicely cool if you leave the doors to the bedrooms open. If they aren't running, there is a fair amount street noise that comes in through the 2nd floor windows. The WiFi worked and was reliable, but I was not able to get more than a 3Mbps download speed out of it. The TV worked great and looked nice. Although perhaps large for New York, the apartment seemed pretty crowded with the 4 of us in it. Having 1 bathroom with 3 ladies gets bit hectic. Ari was very patient and answered all my questions before and during the trip. She was very helpful with our departure and arrival timing. Her service is the main reason I give this 4 stars. 08 July 2015 - 04:41:50

We had a nice stay in NY and the owner has a staff whom is extremely kind and helpful. The apartment was clean, with a nice and well provided kitchen. The only problem is that the location was ways different from the one in the announcement. According to the owner's e-mail, we have been moved because of some issues with the hot water and the heat. She informed us about the moving two days before we arrived in NYC. Actually I still don't know if this apartment exists or not, anyway the location we were moved to is in Amsterdam ave. between the 94th and the 95th. Not a bad position, but it's a completely different distict (The once in this announce is between the 1st and the 62th). Since we had a nice stay I still give a good score, despite the moving. The apartment looks EXACTLY like on pictures !!! Super great location and all you need for a NYC vacation ! The only little thing was the bath fitting which has to be fixed : the fittings are not well hooked and the warm water fitting is leaking. Also there was a delay for the check-out, but nothing to spoil our great time in this apartement. Highly recommended !!!!! 02 May 2016 - 09:07:00

The apartment was clean, but small. The front bedroom was very small with no night stands - the bed was wall to wall. The second bedroom with the bunk beds was roomy. The area was a little sketchy but it was only a couple of blocks from a main subway. Wonderful italian restaurant practically right next door. No parking was available on the street, had to park a couple of blocks away or in a parking garage a couple of blocks away. We originally had inquired about another property on the east side of central park with a balcony, but was told it was not available and was steered to this property. All in all it was okay, except the stair climb. 09 August 2016 - 12:41:00

Perfect area near (super Lage Nhe) Central Park, Metro, Bloomingdales, fifth avenue within good walking distance (zu Fu gut erreichbar). Apartment big enough for 6 people (gross genug fr 6 Personen), ....You are on the way anyway all day ....(man ist ja sowieso den ganzen Tag unterwegs)!!! 2 Queensize beds, 1 pull-out sofa (2 x 140 cm Betten, 1 Ausziehsofa), ...We got along well (wir kamen gut damit zurecht)!!! Perfect communication with the agency, (perfekte Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter). The holder of the shower was repaired right the first day (die Halterung der Dusche wurde direkt am ersten Tag repariert). Also another "small problem" could be clarified with agreement (auch ein weiteres "kleines Problem" konnte im Einverstndnis geklrt werden). 01 November 2016 - 20:28:00

Our family of parents and three daughters aged from 16 to 19 was looking for a two bedroom apartment with a good location and reasonable price, and that was exactly what we got. The apartment was a compact one but in a sensible way. We could have used more space but considering the location and price, this equation was what we appreciated. The subway stations were close and provided easy transportation. Our favorite was the express bus 15 on 1st and 2nd avenues. CVS Pharmacy almost next door and Whole Foods a few blocks away provided us with foodstuffs. The kitchen equipment was quite basic but enough for our needs. The apartment was clean and practical, normal IKEA style furnishings common in these rentals. Our little paradise would have been perfect without the noise issue. Both bedrooms had a window on the street side. In Manhattan there is always some noise, basic traffic sound plus frequent sirens and horns, the latter being banned in many European cities but clearly not here. The air conditioners were fitted very primitively, the machine fixed into the open window, and the leftover spaces filled with a thin plastic and tape. It is really like sleeping in an open balcony. The sound level in the living room on the inner side of the building is clearly lower. Combined with jet lag this may become an issue for some people. Our group experienced this problem on some nights and not all of us, but if you are a light sleeper you should consider this. If I were the owner of this I would surely change the windows and install the AC properly with decent building materials. That would make the apartment a perfect one. There are not many two bedroom flats available in Manhattan, even for a higher price. 29 June 2016 - 06:47:00

27 May 2017 - 20:52:00

The property was as described in pictures. The location was great as metro was easily accessible. The reasons for 3 stars and not more are really several minor things. there were additional fees for leaving bags (and would have been fees for dropping bags early). In the bathroom There were 2 wash cloths for 4 people and 1/2 roll of toilet paper. There was no information about the location or where to put trash. In all of the other places we've stayed there is some material provided about essentials of the property and the neighborhood. This would be nice to have. There was also a mouse in the apartment. There were glue traps around and we had a run in with the critter during the night. Overall not a bad place. But considering it was not the cheapest unit in the area I expected more. 11 October 2016 - 14:17:00

The location was ideal for us - easy access to all forms of transportation, great restaurants and the wonderful Ritz Diner. There were minimal supplies and no info sheet suggesting local places or noting transit options but with so many possibilities in Manhattan that may not be possible and encourages exploration. Thanks for a wonderful stay! 15 January 2017 - 17:37:00

As VRBO owners ourselves, we know that it is difficult to highlight everything in the listing that people might want to know so we'll just cover a few extra points you might want to know about: - Great location, easily walkable to the theatre district and close to several subway lines - Comfortable dining table and seating for 6, which isn't always the case...often we're left with chairs for 4 and have to make due for the fifth person - Basic dishes/pots for 4-6 people. Kitchen doesn't have much extra stuff, but what it has is acceptable for a group of 4-6. - Lots of towels from our perspective. Bathroom was sufficient. - Typical NYC apartment building with pests from time to time...we discovered a mouse eating our food one night so be sure to put anything perishable in the refrigerator. (Luckily we got it to run off the kitchen counter into a bag and we took the bag out of the apartment). - We didn't get any information about trash removal but it wasn't hard to figure out that the trash cans in the lobby were for trash - The wifi was extremely slow...don't plan on using it for much, i.e., we couldn't even load Instagram! - The listing doesn't say anything about bag check fees but they will charge you if you arrange to drop off your bags. Apparently they also charge for late check in (after 8pm). On the plus side, they were very accommodating regarding our bag drop off time as we needed to change it several times. Overall, this place isn't the highest end but it wasn't the lowest either...totally acceptable for your New York City stay! 27 November 2016 - 17:26:00

Well located but two bedrooms face a very busy road and part of windows are absent due to aircon installation. As a result very noisy. Almost uninhabitable. Also smell of gas prevails. 16 January 2016 - 06:39:35

We had a great family trip to New York. This property was a perfect location to get to any tourist destination, whether we walked, took the subway or a cab. The streets, and sometimes other apartments, are noisy but we just used white noise apps to drown it out. Ari and his team were easy to work with and we'd recommend this spot to anyone planning a trip to the city. 30 November 2017 - 13:20:00
We arrived at your property on 29 December , before by email we had given the time of the arrival of our flight and arrival time to the hotel .We called from the airport when we arrived and when we took the taxi.We arrived at the apartment at 23.00 and there was no one to receive us, it was very cold in the street, we went back to calling for the third time and ARI always told us that soon arrived and it wasn't like that, it tooks 40 minutes to get to give ourselves the key. We were very tired after a very long journey more than 14 hours, alone in the street and with very cold. The Lady only said sorry. I think I was very badly received. On the other hand we'd told ARI the hour of leaving the hotel on January ,12 noon and she said ok. From early the housekeeper entered in the apartament and said that she was going to fix the room. We told her that we had permission of ARI until 12 and she said she dosnt care and she was going to be there. We were still in pajamas ,she had an argument with our entire family, very rude with very bad manners because we ask for permission to be alone without her inside the apartment . It was terrible situation. At least she call ARI and known that we was leaving at noon. Your property was ok, well location and fine, but all the people working there was terrible, very rude , thats the reason why We will never recommend to anybody to rent there. 16 January 2017 - 13:06:00
  19. Great location! Communication was great with owners! Thank you. Exactly what I expected for the price. Clean. A little noisy but then again I am from a small town. Also as nice as it was to be able to go outside to the deck... the pigeons have taken over the area and you must watch for pigeon droppings and lit cigarette butts falling on your head from above if you wish to spend any time outside.. If was overall fine...Thank you hosts.. you were great! 29 April 2017 - 05:57:00

$8 Uber into Times Square. $12 Uber to Hell's Kitchen. So much food nearby within walking distance. Central Park is only 6 blocks away. Subway is nearby in multiple locations. Balcony is a wonderful touch. Heaters work well, shower has great pressure and HOT water. Appliances all work great. Plenty of room for us (3 adults and a baby), or 2 couples. If too much electricity is on from the lights and heaters and TV and appliances the breaker in the kitchen will trip. Overall stay was great and convenient. Lots of bars restaurants and sushi nearby too! We will be back. 04 April 2017 - 14:39:00
