HOME HIGHLIGHTS • Great central location • Modern amenities • Beautiful artwork and antiques ROOMS Take the lift up to the private lobby, to discover terracotta hallways and light rooms refined by antique furniture. Wooden parquet flooring sweeps through this airy apartment and contemporary tiling finishes off the kitchen and bathrooms. LIVING ROOM The living room is really rather lovely with a grand mirror, sofa seating, a small antique work desk and a fine-looking wooden dining table to seat four. THE KITCHEN A contemporary white kitchen with all the mod cons you could need. THE BEDROOM This light en-suite bedroom features a very comfortable double bed looking out over the peaceful mews at the back of the property. STUDY/BEDROOM Featuring a small corner desk and double sofa bed. BATHROOM #1 With an attractive interior, this bathroom features a shower cubicle, WC and basin. BATHROOM #2 Featuring a bathtub with a shower tap, a WC and basin. House Rules: No pets, parties or smoking please. The lead guest must be at least 25 years old. Veeve reserves the right to refuse a booking if it thinks the property will be used for a party

    We (me, my wife, and our two children) stayed in this apartment on Connaught Street for a week in mid-June and had a great time. Pros: 1. The management company was professional and organized - they were responsive on email and by phone during working hours. 2. The apartment location is convenient to many lines on the underground and other rail lines (about 10 minute walk to Paddington, Edgeware Road, and Marble Arch stations). 3. Close to Hyde Park and lots of restaurants (it is London). 4. The apartment itself is a good size, clean, and nicely decorated. TV and wifi worked well. The kitchen had ample space and all necessary utensils. Cons: No significant problems. A couple of minor points to note: 1. Hot water didn't work when we arrived. I contacted Veeve (the management company) and they gave me clear instructions to check on the control panel for the water heater - it had been turned off. Once I did this, we had hot water - again, it was a minor inconvenience, but not a flaw with the apartment and the management company was responsive and effective. 2. Veeve (the manager) is a company, not an individual owner. They won't be able to give you the details about the place or the area the way you might expect if you have used Home Away repeatedly with actual property owners. Also, they can be a bit more rigid about arrival and departure times than owners with only 1 or 2 properties tend to be. You can work through this, but it's better to contact Veeve early if you have specific check-in or -out times that you really want. 29 June 2017 - 08:26:00

    Location is superb and, by far, the best feature of the property. We really enjoyed the neighborhood, with very convenient facilities/services/restaurants/a very firendly pub and 3 tube stations less than a 10 minute walk. The help desk for the apartment was also very diligent and always quick responsive. The areas of improvement: 1) a better cleaning service before guests arrival; 2) fix a minor bath tube issue and, most important, more closet space for the guests. We had no decent space to accomodate our clothes and bags. We would defintely visit the property again, with the aforementioned positives ans caveats. Tks, Tom! 05 July 2016 - 00:00:00
