What an excellent pad to spend a few nights in London. Yes, the stairs are steep and you will be winded by the time you reach the top -- but the view from the rooftop terrace is worth the hike. Well maintained and immaculately clean. Highly recommended. 26 November 2010 - 06:48:06

Everything about this flat is outstanding. The location is to die for, right in the middle of Soho, and a 10 minute walk to the British Museum. The terrace is huge, though we didn't spend much time out there due to the very cold weather. The flat is very warm and comfortable and clean. Soft bed, great shower, full kitchen with everything one could possibly need, and screaming fast wireless internet. Our stay was during the big holiday snow mess at Heathrow, and we were getting a bit worried that our flights later in the week would be cancelled or delayed. I contacted the owner and he graciously offered the flat for 2 more days if we needed it. Thankfully our flights ended up running, but we really appreciated the offer. This is an excellent flat and it made a huge difference in our comfort during our stay. I will not hesitate to book this flat again on future trips to London. 07 January 2011 - 00:51:14
  3. Definitely the best apartment available in the very center of London. This apartment excedeed all our expectations in term of design, quality and above all cleanliness. We clearings 2 weeks here and it was the best apartment we ever had in london. The terrace is perfect and the loft feeling of the apartment is perfect. Thank u for all Rob. 12 March 2011 - 18:46:52
  4. the apartment was nice, clean and well organized. The location was great. Central but quite, also on friday and saturday nights. Near restaurants shops and tube station. We liked very much the big terrace with the plants and the view from it. 21 March 2011 - 15:37:46

Very fine flat steps from Charing Cross Rd. I was on business and it was well located, only a few minutes walk to work. The flat was well equipped, including laundry and dishwasher, and the mattress very comfortable. The rooftop patio was remarkable (how did they get those trees up there?) and would be a real oasis in the summer months. A nice Japanese restaurant next door, too. Cheers! Note: 4 flights of narrow stairs to get up there. 24 March 2011 - 13:31:57

I've rented many vacation flats in London and this one is THE best so far. Fabulous location. Don't let the busy intersection where it sits put you off! It's super quite. The bedroom has plenty of window coverings, so you get a nice dark/quite room to sleep in. Kitchen well stocked with matching dishes/plenty of cooking gear. The decor is modern and clean, doesn't come across as a rental, but more as perhaps a stylish friend loaned it to you. Washer/dryer combo easy to use. Directions book for all appliances you might not be familiar with. The deck is to die for! Plants and seating well kept, was the envy of all my London friends. The tube is about 5 min walk in either direction. Pubs, shops, food literally steps away. Very safe Soho location (I'm a single girl coming and going on my own.) Mins to the British Museum and the National Portrait Gallery. Directly off the Picadilly line from Heathrow, so no need to pay for a cab. The only minus would be that its at the top of staircase with no lift, but for me the trade off of being in the penthouse flat was worth it. 30 March 2011 - 15:08:16

I can honestly say that this is the best vacation spot for anyone looking to be in the middle of it all. You are within blocks of everything. The apartment is extremely comfortable with a nice bed and awesome terrace. The best thing I have to say is the wi-fi in the apartment. If you are coming to London this beautiful Soho apartment is where you want to be. We also had a pleasant meeting with our greeter Michelle who was extremely friendly. I would not hesitate to stay here again, thank you Robert.. 12 April 2011 - 12:47:30
  8. This flat was exactly as described. Clean, modern and well equiped. It is the perfect location for anyone who likes to walk a bit. Theatres, Concerts, Buckingham Palace, Regent Street Shops, Trafalgar Square, The National Gallery, the Portrait Gallery, Big Ben, Westminister Abbey, White Hall The neighbourhood has a real buzz of actvity, but isn't that why one comes to London? Excellent local restaraunts. We really liked Arbutus, just around the corner on Firth Street, as well as the Town House, and 40 Dean ( both on Dean). If you like classical music, be sure to take in a concert at St Martin's-in-the-Field, only a 15 minute stroll. 26 May 2011 - 15:32:46

The flat is nearly perfect. A very central location in a very animated district. Everything was clean and exactly as described. The terrace is just amazing, large and very quiet. The only small drawback is the 4th floor without elevator, but the flat really worth it anyway! We had a very nice and pleasant stay, and we will recommend the place to friends! 06 July 2011 - 20:49:25

After a long search on the internet, we were attracted to this apartment by the central location, the appeal of the outside deck, the extensive facilities and the list of highly rating reviews. We enjoyed a fantastic week in early June and the apartment certainly delivered in all aspects - we too can add a rating of excellent. London is a great city for exploring on foot and the Soho address was the perfect central location to see all the major attractions. We were able to walk everywhere and also have the option of the convenient public transport to return back home. There is an amazing choice of entertainment and food outlets right at your doorstep. Some that we sampled were Les Miserables at Queens Theatre, Bistro1 Restaurant, and Patisserie Valerie all recommended. The large opening doors to the deck give the apartment a great atmosphere. Soon after arriving, we were enjoying champagne and strawberries sitting out on the deck. We also made use of the kitchen facilities in the apartment to prepare some meals to have outside. All of the facilities and furnishings made the apartment feel very comfortable. The safe and the fast WiFi internet were much appreciated. Despite the hive of activity down below on the streets, the apartment was very quiet. There was no noise at all all very secure. Others have commented on the stairs this was not an issue for us the stairs were easy to use. At all stages of interaction with Robert, the owner from booking to pre and post arrival we were kept well informed and instructed, which made us feel comfortable with our choice. Thankyou for contributing to our brilliant week in London. 06 July 2011 - 06:16:56

Geat little flat with all the amenities you could wish for and an ideal location for theatre and restaurants. Very clean and well cared-for and suprisingly quiet - also a warm wlecome and all the information you would need provided in advance. The whole building also to a good standard. The flat can get quite warm in hot weather, but then the deck comes in very handy. 19 August 2011 - 12:08:27

Don't waste your time looking any longer. This is the perfect apartment. Perfectly clean and well-kept, great location, many small extras that make your stay comfortable (washing liquid, tea and milk, dishwasher soap all provided). Two TVs, iPod station, CD player, DVD, wi-fi, etc..... I'll definitely try to stay here when in London next time. Highly recommended. Fourth-floor walk-up. We were helped with our suitcase on arrival. 18 October 2011 - 20:12:49

25 November 2014 - 17:04:04

Thanks so much for a lovely stay right in the heart of one of my favorite neighborhoods of London. Easy access to everything and while there are a few stairs it just means you get a little workout while you stay. Cheers. 21 December 2017 - 18:25:00

My wife and I had a wonderful time in the heart of Soho. So many good theatres and restaurants within easy walking distance... The flat is very tastefully done and the rooftop terrace is fantastic. Would have preferred that the bedroom had a door at the opening rather than a curtain. We both found the bed to be uncomfortable. Lots of stairs! 17 December 2017 - 21:24:00

This apartment is exactly as described by other reviewers: clean, comfortable, all mod cons, a wonderful roof top terrace, fantastic location etc etc. However, our week was ruined by a) a non-flushing toilet which was not repaired until 48 hours after reporting (we were forced to use a pan of water); and b) mice in the apartment which we spotted twice whilst staying there. We had noticed anti-rodent plug-ins on arrival but assumed these were just a precaution. We later noticed a cut-out area at the foot of the TV unit which was used to insert traps at the back. We found it very difficult to get in touch with anyone about these problems. We phoned three different numbers before finally reaching someone to complain and, as mentioned above, the toilet problem was not resolved until 48 hours later. The owner arranged for traps to be laid down, but that was at the end of our stay. On a positive note, the first three days were very enjoyable before these problems occurred. This accommodation was specifically chosen for the great reviews and the 'luxury' label, as this was our silver wedding anniversary celebration week. It's a great disappointment to us that the whole experience was ruined by these unacceptable problems. The owner has refunded two nights in compensation. 28 June 2011 - 09:34:49

The apartment was perfect! I knew it was centrally located, but I had no idea how close it was to everything we wanted to do. We love London and spent almost every day seeing something new. We ate at Mela one night, which the owners recommended and it was very good. It's also only a 5 minute walk to Jamie Oliver's Italian restaurant in Covent Gardens also very good. The highlight is the terrace, which is large and nicely appointed with greenery. It's also a very quiet apartment considering it is on the very busy street of Old Compton. Once inside, you would never know all that is going on outside. 05 October 2011 - 19:39:13

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Soho. The apartment is right at the heart of one of London's most creative and interesting districts and it has absolutely everything going for it. The interior was extremely stylish and very quiet with all the mod cons one would expect including a shower big enough for two. The large roof top terrace gives you views of two of London's iconic 60's buildings - The Telecom Tower and CentrePoint Tower. You can open the front door and you're slap bang in the middle of vibrant Soho, best of both worlds. I am so glad we didn't stay in a hotel, we got to feel like chic locals! 23 February 2009 - 09:16:00
