About listing

This place is incredible. When I got this place I wanted the best location, no neighbors on the same floor, lots of space, nice finishings and outdoor space. I wanted it all and I got it. Let's cover these one by one. The location can't be beat. We are right next to Columbus Circle. That means you can get a quick train ride to anywhere in the city in less than 20 minutes. That said, you won't need a train to stay occupied as its right next to Central Park! You can walk to Times Square in less than 10 minutes. Its a Midtown address for you business travelers and shoppers. For the foodies, Hell's Kitchen is right there. For the museum lovers, we are right next to the Lincoln Center and the Upper West Side to reach the Natural History Museum and more. No neighbors. This apartment is the entire floor of the building. There is no one else. Below it is an office so you don't have to worry about keeping anyone up at night and no one is there at all on the weekends. The space is beautiful and huge. This is a completely renovated unit, completed in 2015. We had the whole floor gutted and rebuilt. All of the walls, floors, etc are brand new. It's a new place in an old building. Its the entire floor of the building. It's a true 3 bedroom. Beware of substitutes. Many in this city call their 2 beds, 3 beds. This is an actual 3 bedroom. All 3 bedrooms are very large by NYC standards. The living room is very spacious. Even the bathrooms are huge! It has around 1700 square feet or 188 square meters. The finishings are all top of the line. Stainless steel appliances, beautiful name brand furniture (Pottery Barn and La-Z-Boy throughout), its all been thought of. Each room has a queen bed but there's also a sleeper sofa and two chairs which turn into beds which means there are 6 beds in all. The electronics are all as nice as you would expect in a place such as this. I stay here with my family during the summers so I spare no expense. The outdoor space by NYC standards is huge. It has a patio! Do you know how rare that is? The patio has a dining table which seats 6. This apartment is on the 3rd floor and is a walk-up. That means 2 flights of stairs. For you Europeans and Asians, that's the 2nd floor. The stairs aren't challenging but you need to know about them. When I personally stay at other people's vacation rentals, I'm always disappointed by the quality of their supplies. You won't experience that with me. The kitchen supplies, the furniture, the towels, everything is top notch. We even have salon quality hair dryers! Here are some other interesting features that stand out. - One of the bathroom showers is also a steam room. - We have recently spent Five Thousand Dollars on noise canceling windows. You will sleep like a baby. - We have an Apple TV so you can stream NetFlix or use it to have presentations at your company meeting. - The beds and the bedding are top of the line. You will be able to rest here.

The apartment certainly lived up to expectations. Great location close to Central Park, 5th Ave, Times Square and subway access was at the end of the block. The furniture was elegant, modern and comfortable and our group of 6 guys each had our own bed. The property owner was very helpful and was available to answer questions before and during our trip. I wouldn't hesitate to go back and stay at the place again when next I'm in Manhattan. 10 May 2016 - 18:05:14

This is the perfect location: Lincoln Center, Central Park, Columbus Circle (don't miss the Whole Foods there), and easy walking to Hell's Kitchen and Times Square. The subway is at the end of the block. Rick was always available to answer any questions. The apartment was very clean, has a well supplied kitchen if you want to cook, extremely comfortable beds and fantastic showers. The big screen TV has DVR capabilities, so we were able to watch the US Open after we came back from the wedding festivities! We will definitely come back! Thanks, Rick! 26 June 2016 - 12:20:28

We had a great stay at this vrbo- we were 3 adults and 2 kids. The condo is an easy walk- up with high ceilings and good light. Nicely renovated bathrooms/ loved the steam shower, and with all the amenities you need for the stay (tho we are used to hotels so we had to run out to buy some basic soap and shampoo- no problem- drug store on every corner!!) Plenty of towels and bedding for all the pull outs, and we were grateful for the pack n play which we ended up using. The door codes make entry easy and quick. We had perfect weather so had breakfast on the porch every day! Starbucks is across the street and DD next door. Enjoyed a meal at Aba Turkish restaurant next door as well. The location of this property can't be beat- we walked to Central Park playgrounds and zoo and enjoyed quick access to all of our dinner and meeting locations. With kids and a nanny in tow, the layout of this property is perfect and I would definitely stay here again. All of our interactions with the property super and Rick were very nice and professional, and accommodating of our check-in and departure times. Happy to find a great place that has a clean, modern hotel-like feel but with the comforts and space families need. I would say the vrbo is better in person than pictures- large bedrooms and the dining/living area is roomier and cozier than depicted! You can't go wrong! 26 June 2016 - 20:23:44

This was the second time Ive stayed at this wonderful apartment. It is my go-to place when I need a larger place in NYC. I was reminded again just how central it was to everywhere I needed to get to for my business meetings and dinners afterwards. The patio was a great place to drink a cold beer and get some more work done after a long day. 06 July 2016 - 12:45:02

We had a wonderful time at this vrbo. Seven of us (2 couples and 3 kids) fit comfortably in this updated, well-stocked condo. The location is ideal- a walk to Columbus station to catch the metro, and short walks to Central Park and the Theater District. So glad we didn't stay in Times Square! This condo is nice and quiet at night. Beds are super comfortable. Loved having the patio for coffee in the morning. Ate a great meal at Rosa Mexicano, which is just several short blocks away. Thanks for letting us stay. We hope to be back. 08 July 2016 - 13:22:23

We use the place for a family trip four kids and two adults. It was simply wonderful clean, spacious and well appointed. ( I especially loved the terrace!) The location is great: close to the park, super convenient to the subway, and lots of wonderful eating, shopping and fun options in the neighborhood. The whole process was also very convenient, and the owners were in contact to make sure we had what we needed for a great vacation (thank you Sheyla!) We really can't recommend it enough! We'll be back for sure. 27 July 2016 - 14:15:34

The place was everything we'd hoped for. Four adults and a baby fitted nicely, it's a block from central park and pretty close to Broadway shows. We'll definitely be coming back! 30 August 2016 - 16:22:06

Our family of three generations had a wonderful stay in this comfortable, clean, well-equipped apartment. The location was even more convenient than we expected with multi line subway access at the corner and nearby shopping for anything you forgot. We walked to the theater and took kids to playgrounds in Central Park. We even enjoyed the Turkish restaurant downstairs when we wanted to eat in. The owners were great to work with and quickly answered all questions during the booking, and accommodated arrival and check out needs. Our adult children loved the place! We highly recommend it and also thought it was an excellent value for the money. 13 June 2017 - 00:02:00

This was my second time visiting New York. Hotel hopped the first time, then took a friends suggestion to rent an apartment. Not sure how I got so lucky on the first pick, but this apartment was amazing! Located close to every major attraction. Walking distance to Broadway. A block from Central Park. A quick Subway trip across town to that restaurant I have wanted to try for years. The apartment itself was beyond expectations. Very spacious, with tall ceilings, a modern kitchen with ALL the amenities, (it even had a crock pot!), and a bathroom that transported me to the future. The steam shower was a life saver after a big day on the town. The outside patio was quiet and relaxing, and Rick made sure that the apartment was fully stocked with fresh linens, towels, and soaps. I will be renting this apartment the next time I visit New York, without question. Rick was very responsive, and made renting an absolute pleasure. Bye Bye Hotels....Helloooo New York! 04 September 2015 - 00:32:34
  14. Perfect spot in the city, walk to the park, catch the subway on the corner to any part of the city. Will certainly stay here again. 18 November 2017 - 16:05:00

Excellent location! Beautiful and spacious...even better than the pictures! We spent Christmas here with our four daughters and felt right at home! Enjoyed cooking Christmas Eve dinner in the kitchen and movies on the big screen tv! It was freezing out so didn't get to enjoy the lovely patio but it was impressive....a patio in the city! Everything we needed and more was just around the corner! The guestbook was very helpful! Also a quick cab or subway ride to so many great parts of the city! You won't be disappointed!! 07 January 2018 - 20:10:00

Great location. Very clean with comfortable beds and full kitchen. The key pads on entrances make for an easy check in and out. This apartment worked out well for our family of eight. The 2 teenagers slept on the fold out beds in the living room while the adults each had a nice sized bedroom. The two full bathrooms were nice to have with 8 people getting ready each morning. No complaints and highly recommend. 22 January 2018 - 15:22:00

Everything was perfect about this property and it was true to the pictures. We were there when it was freezing outside and still managed to walk to the park, theatre, Times Square, shopping, etc. Then it was so nice to come back to a place where the heater worked well! The coat hooks in the hall really came in handy. The deck/patio was covered in snow but we could see how enjoyable it would be during the summer. The kitchen was well equipped and the large family room table was nice for us to gather around when we wanted to stay inside. Best of all for us 5 women, there are two spacious bathrooms! Two levels of stairs were a little difficult with our luggage - luckily we had enough younger ladies to help the old one because it was definitely worth it. 11 January 2018 - 16:58:00

This was our second stay here. We came in the summer and liked it so much we came back for New Year's Eve in Times Square. Our family of five (including three teenagers) has outgrown hotel rooms. It was amazing to find this much space in NYC! The high ceilings made the apartment feel even more spacious, and there is tons of natural light. The bathroom updates were fantastic (and again, surprising to find in an older NYC building). Having a full kitchen was wonderful. The location was perfect for our trip - you are right at Columbus Circle and the entrance to the park. It was an easy walk to Time Square and the theaters, and there are restaurants everywhere. The owners were very helpful and provided detailed instructions in advance of the trip. They were also super quick to respond to any questions. We definitely recommend this rental! 13 January 2018 - 22:30:00
